Country Cousin offers solid food, good portions and even better breakfasts. This wasn't the first time for me, but this is my first review. My friend got a huge veggie omelette, with country potatoes and a biscuit. She thoroughly enjoyed her meal. I got the French Dip with fries. It was tasty. Nothing "WOW" about it, but it was tasty. The fries were a bit on the soggy side. The waitress was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant has a nice gift shop area with some fun tchotchke stuff. The restaurant itself does needs an update. It's kind of dark and dusty. Not necessarily dirty, but it's old and could probably use a good, thorough cleaning. The carpets look well worn. Solid 4 for Country Cousins.

Passing through the area and decided to pop in for a quick lunch. Overall had a decent experience. Would leave a 3.5 if I could. I had a Deluxe club sandwich and it was just fine. Nothing extraordinary but did the job of filling my empty stomach. Service was a tad slow but the server was nice as was the hostess. The vibe reminded me of Cracker Barrel, and they had some cute stained glass above some of the booths. Overall a fine experience.

Made a recent visit and sat in the bar. Very cozy, with phenomenal service. I think our waitresses name was Kathy? She definitely knew her stuff. I so appreciate a waitress who brings extra napkins, checks on you regularly , so impressed! My husband had the Reuben and I had the French dip both, were great ! Fluffy Friendly seating!

First came here back in 2008 or 2009 and I killed you not this place still looks the same with just a few minor changes but it's great to see the place is still up and running and man they give you big portions for the price, which is pretty good deal to me and the service is very kind And courteous always come to your table to check in on you. Very homestyle comfort food here and nothing tasted bad. I'm glad to see that the food still taste great after all these years and it's been going for 50 years now!

This place is a great spot to stop for a meal or snack between Portland and Seattle. The inside is standard with booths and tables on one side and a lounge on the other side with a small gift shop stuffed in the middle. But the food was great! BLT was toasted perfectly with a lot of crispy bacon. A little skimpy on shredded lettuce but was still good. The hot turkey dinner was a full plate of several slices of turkey, big scoop of mashed potatoes, dressing and a tiny cup of cranberry sauce. All smothered in turkey gravy! He inhaled it so must have been very good! Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely make this a stop again traveling back and forth.

So much food!!! Huge portions for decent prices. They have the cutest little chickens outside and wood cutouts so if you are feeling silly you can take a pictures. Lacks a little flavor but you won't leave hungry. Inside is a little gift shop. Worth the stop in. They were busy and the waitress was attentive and great! The carafe for coffee was the best. The cinnamon roll showed up first. If I would have known I'd ask for it to be brought out after breakfast.

I have had nothing but great food and experiences here at the Country Cousin! Located right off of I-5 at Exit 82, the Country Cousin serves delicious, comfort food at a very reasonable price. Been there three times: solo, with just the kids, and as a whole family. Each time I had superb and caring service (they're great with kids). As for the food ... so good. Down home cooking that fills you up. Some of things we've had that have all been good: Chicken Fried Steak and a Patty Melt (two of my favorites), Cheeseburgers, Mini Corn Dogs, Chicken Strips, Turkey & Potatoes Dinner). Come to the Country Cousin if you're in the mood for comfort food, friendly service, and a warm and no-frills atmosphere. It's perfect. I will certainly continue coming here. You should too.

In the past year, I've been here at least three or four more times. I wish I had something positive to add, but I won't be coming back here again. The establishment has dim lighting for a reason. It's SO dirty. The last table we were sat at was next to a window that had flies everywhere both dead and living. My water glass had lipstick on it. I shutter thinking about the silverware. If that does not bother you, well good for you. The food is ok, my french toast during my last visit was undercooked. While sitting at the traffic light the other day I counted 6 employees out back taking a smoke break at the same time. Naw I'm good. Keeping the 2 stars for the gift shop.

As you can tell from the name, a country homestyle restaurant with "comfort foods" on the menu such as meatloaf, cheese curds, burgers. They do offer a veggie burger option. The ladies at the front door were smiley and friendly. Our server, possibly due to being in a rush, was a bit brusque, yet everything was accomplished as needed. My friend ordered the meatloaf, drenched in gravy, and enjoyed that. I ordered one of the salads and found it rather uninspired. Dessert was apple pie for one of us and berry crunch (cobbler) for the other. The pie slice was very generous. The cobbler was good - though it would have been nice to be told what the berry was going to be. Loved the decor, and they have a little shop, though it is pricey. Especially loved the rooster that crows when the door opens - a cute touch.

Great place for breakfast or lunch. Dinner is hit or miss. Prices are a bit high since they cater to the freeway crowd. Servers are great.

After a long wait i called the phone to place my order as no waitress approached. I asked questions about a Farmers Omelette which she didn't know what was in it. Omelette came and it was loaded good with ham peppers and onions. Wheat toast is cheap small brown bread. They shud offer a good multigrain. Waitress was nice but seemed overwhelmed. Nice atmosphere. I absolutely love the feeling when walking in the door - friendly, family-focused, and inviting. It's like walking into your own home and you're greeted by caring staff and a warm smile. The food is great and tastes just like grandma used to make! Our go-to, so far, are their burgers and fries! I recently took my boys there snd two us got the burger and one got the corn dog nuggets. So good. The burgers are huge, juicy, and delicious (mushroom & Swiss for me and a regular cheeseburger for the little one). The nuggets were great too, according to the other little guy. Not to mention the crinkle fries! Yay! They've also got a little play space up in the front corner with a wee little playhouse and toys ... perfect for the kids to entertain themselves while waiting for the food and keep them busy after they're done and you're still eating! As said, friendly staff and wonderful food will keep bringing me back and trying anything from their menu! Give it a try yourself ... you won't be disappointed!

Do not let those comments and the low star rating discourage you from trying Jeremy's. Our experience was wonderful. Not sure if we ever met the manager, but the wait staff was great! It is a large, clean restaurant with plenty of seating. This would be a great place to have a large gathering. The bathrooms were also very clean. Both of those factors are signs of a promising dining experience, imho! I ordered the bacon ranch chicken burger with fries, ranch and honey mustard on the side. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger with onions rings and a cup of their soup of the day: Tuscan Italian Sausage soup. We also got the cheese curds for an appetizer. The curds were yummy. Crisp, light, chewy with a side of garlic aioli. the flavor combo was delish! My only complaint was the portion size. For $15.00 appetizer, i was hoping it would have been larger...or possibly keep the same portion size but lower the price point. Other than that, we did enjoy them. The soup was delicious, too! It was thick and creamy with large chunks of potato and sausage. It had a nice spicy kick to it. My husband enjoyed it very much. Our sandwiches came out hot, and again: delicious! Good portions, too. The onion rings were really unique. Large, thick slices of onion and a unique breading. Not your typical beer batter, but a lighter coating that tasted like it could have been cornmeal based? They were good! My fries weren't bad, either. They weren't heavy and greasy, like a lot of fries. I liked that. The burger was cooked medium as requested by my husband. My chicken burger was a delicious grilled chicken breast...a real breast and not some gross pressed chicken patty. The ranch and honey mustard were both house made. Sooooo good. The ranch was really dilly and I loved that! Did Jeremy's pass the test? Absolutely! When my husband announced "I'd eat here again", I knew we made a good restaurant choice! I agree. We will eat there again! **They also offer a 10% discount on senior, military and first responder meals. THAT was cool! Two thumbs up for Jeremy's!
