My husband and I are constantly going and it takes us so long to relax on vacations. We saw this place on our last trip down and thought this trip we'd start out with a couples massage and I could not have been happier with the experience. Started in the infrared sauna which was wonderful to start to relax mentally and physically. Moved into a gorgeous room that was lit, heated and used aroma therapy perfectly. Holli and Evandro gave us one of the top massages ever. We are both runners and the therapists walked the perfect line between therapeutic and relaxation in the massage. We left completely relaxed and ready to enjoy our trip. One more thing that I personally loved was that even though it was a couples massage there was no hokey, lovey dovey stuff that just makes me cringe. After disappointing foot treatments my wife and I were wondering if we should have cancelled our massage appointments for two days later. Glad we didn't. The couple's deep tissue massages we got were great and relaxing. Noise is the biggest reason I didn't give the Ocean Spa a 5 star review. There were a couple of times when stools were getting kicked or knocked around which made a lot of noise. Another time my wife's therapist was adjusting something on the table that made a horrible, loud and long velcro noise that was very disruptive. The overall ambiance is great and their prices are very reasonable for a tourist trap during peak season. read more

Wonderful luxurious spa! This spa just opened and everything is beautifully done from the art, color schemes, sound proofing, music and layout. It is filled with light and refreshing energy. It's a little haven above the bustle of the downtown center perfect for relaxing and recharging. I have only taken advantage of the massage option so far but am thrilled that they have mani/pedis as well. It seems perfect for a girl's weekend. They have a beautiful couples massage room as well. Holli is one of the owners and is an excellent massage therapist. I highly recommend her and the spa. It is so welcoming and just a perfect brief escape. Do yourself a favor and go! read more

My husband and I booked a couples massage and facial. We arrived 1/2 before to make sure we were on time. The receptionist was very unprofessional and not very helpful. Handed us two robes in the entry hallway and said the sauna is in there. There were no lockers no changing room, we were like where do we go? When asked she pointed to a room and said in there. Never explained what the process was going to be or what to do when we were done I the sauna. We finished in the sauna and came out to the hallway to stand there until someone walked by. They put us in a room ( not the one with all of our belongings) and told us we would start in a couple of minutes. The messages we great. We then we're going to separate rooms for our facials. We were told to sit and wait in a little room off the hall. Which was cute and you could look out on the busy street below. After 20 minutes they came and took my husband for his (15 minutes past the hour) I waited an other 15 minutes before I was taken for my facial. My facial was good , my husbands (this was his first I had convinced him it would be fun ) was less then fun our relaxing. The Esthetician that did his massage also did his facial told him you usually get a foot massage and hand massage but since you just had a massage we will skip that. He was done in 45 minutes and taken to the waiting room. My facial was an hour which made it go after the hour. When I came out my husband was visiting with the receptionist and my Esthetician. We tipped them and paid. As I was walking out I was looking at the receipt and they charged me for 15 minutes overage when in fact I was not over and my husband was shorted. This could be a nice spa but they need to get things running more smoothly. read more

we did a couples massage and we loved it. it was actually hot stone massage. the place was easy to find, the sign is huge and it's very welcoming from the moment you walk in. it's also very clean. everyone there was very personable. when we walked in they offered us some homemade cookies as well as tea and water. they were expecting us, so we filled out some quick, easy paperwork and then got to the room. the only concern I have is the room has thin walls, definitely not a deal breaker, just something to mention. we really enjoyed our 60 minutes. in addition, setting up the appointment was truly a pleasure and easy. we will be back, can't wait! thank you ocean spa! read more

Loved the atmosphere and the services at Ocean Spa! The staff was very calm and welcoming! The steam/light therapy shower was absolutely to die for! My scrub and wrap combo with Judy was such a treat and my skin has never felt so soft and moisturized! I then was treated to a fabulous massage by Lauren who seriously think has magic fingers! All the tension in my shoulders and back just melted away! I strongly suggest visiting Ocean Spa if you are wanting to treat yourself to a massage/wrap/scrub/facial, well any spa service really! I got a facial from Heidi who is absolutely phenomenal. Incredibly knowledgable, gentle, and kind. I am skeptical about facials because of my sensitive skin, but my dad said he loved his facial, so I decided to give it a try. I am SO glad that I did! I feel much better informed about what my skin needs after trying products that were never working that well. Don't settle when you're taking care of your skin! I just decided to treat myself to a manicure/ pedicure at Ocean Spa while in Cannon Beach. Was I in for a treat!! It was the most wonderful manicure/pedicure I ever received hands down and, Keigan, was so friendly and professional. My girlfriend and I scheduled ocean pedicures and a foot massage for a getaway last weekend and we weren't very impressed. The spa itself was very relaxing and a good atmosphere, clean and a nice place to be. With the price and description of the service, I was surprised to get a basic pedicure with very little massage and there was 1 lady to do both of ours which took up a lot of time. The lady who helped us mentioned she was helping the salon out because of short staff and it was obvious that this wasn't something she did daily because she paid little attention to key parts of a pedicure. To end the experience, my toe nail paint chipped that night and I have never had that happen. I would rather pay half the price for a normal pedicure. read more

We even were able to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the Seahawks game while our feet were pampered. It was 3 hours of pure bliss. Heidi gave me the best facial I've ever had and I've had many over the years. She is professional, caring, kind, gentle and very knowledgeable about the art of the facial. The Epionce products the Ocean Spa uses are wonderful, and made my skin feel soft, clean, healthy, and were perfect for my sensitive skin. I'm always a little hesitant to spend $50 on a pedicure, but I decided to splurge, and I'm so glad I did. The Ocean Spa is amazing. Every member of the staff I met was so friendly and helpful. Wendy did an incredible and thorough job. We got treated to chocolates and tea, and even red roses since it was Valentine's Day. Not very pleased with this experience. The spa is beautiful and the staff are very nice, but this was the worst, most unrelaxing experience I've had during a couples massage. My fiance and I went to this spa on 2/18/17 and got a couples massage, my fiance was paired up with a woman and I was paired up with a man, which was a little unsettling for me being a woman but I reminded myself that this man is a professional and he does this everyday. He was very nice but OMG was he painful. He was putting him whole body weight into me during this massage despite my obvious pain, I even told him a couple times that he was hurting me and was going to hard and he didn't lighten up at all. At some points he even said something along the lines of "I know right?" and started chuckling as I was flinching and making painful faces. Also, I've had a few massages before, but none of them consisted of a butt massage. I feel, especially because I was paired with a masseuse of the opposite sex, that a butt massage was extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. It has been a week since we got these massages and my back is STILL in pain from this. My fiance loved his massage, he appreciates deep tissue. But I am too small of a person to have a mans entire body weight on me while he digs his elbow into my spine, and this should have been obvious especially after I told him he was hurting me.
