I was a bit hesitant to have a spa day here because of all the bad reviews (I came here before a few years ago) but we were here and decided to just have the spa day here. I took my 3 nieces and my daughter for a spa day for Christmas. I've alway enjoyed getting pampered and wanted to my nieces and daughter to experience this all together. They got a manicure and spa pedicure. The spa chairs are human touch technology chairs. My mom has a reclining version of these chairs. Many people have fallen asleep on her chair while relaxing during massage session. I didn't have an appointment for them. I walked in with them. All four girls got to sit in the spa chairs immediately. Two girls got pampered first then the other two. I'd say they did a good job taking care of them. I looked at the smoothness of the nail polish and say they were skilled at what they were doing. There legs also got wrapped in hot towels. Their legs were smooth after that. The girls were so excited and really appreciated it. I think I had the best part of watching them get to experience it and get pampered. One of the girls wasn't patient enough for her nails to dry and mess up one of her nails. I asked the nail tech to fix it and she did without a blink. If I lived in the area, I'd come here again! Their manicures and pedicures are awesome and affordable. They are fast, but are very attentive. Ocean Spa is very clean. I'm very picky about where I go to get any kind of beauty work done and Ocean Spa is up to standard. Their acrylic is amazing! The acrylic maybe cheap in price, but not in quality. Recently, I've been into plain single color polish, but they do sparkly and glittery acrylic as well. I recently wanted to try Stilettos and I'm glad I chose Ocean Spa to do them. They are perfect! As long as I live in PCB, I'll be coming to Ocean Spa. If they are busy, have no fear. Just leave your phone number and they will call you when they are ready to take you. It's perfect if you wanna shop at the mall, as well as get your nails done. No waiting in the nail salon twiddling your thumbs, waiting to be seen... Go shop! Go eat! read more

I wish I could give ZERO stars. My nail tech was so rude. I got a full set and she purposely was making the acrylic thin. I had to tell her to put more. She was talking about me to other techs. This place does a terrible and sloppy job....please please save ur money. After my gel manicure i noticed there was excess gel top coat all over my skin. In addition, i noticed serveral times as ppl came in close to closing they irgoned them for a few minutes as they spoke in their lanugage and then acknowledged them by saying we don't have time for you,( w/o asking what service they needed) mind you they close 8pm and some of these ppl walked in at 7pm or alittle after. I wish I had the experience everyone else that reviewed apparently did! Tom did my nails so bad that I had to go to another salon right after!! He used way too much superglue, cut me in two different places that were really deep, and they were crooked! Funny thing is that he kept going on and on about how awesome he was, lol! Adam does my fingers and Linh does my pedi they take time and make sure that I am always pleased I am a hairdresser so nails go hand in hand and I have seen a lot of work and none even come close to how amazing these people are it's a professional clean and friendly atmosphere I would def recommend everyone one check them out! read more

I went in and asked for gel nails. Its been a while since I've got my nails done so I was asking questions. The technical did white and pink acrylic powder with clear gel nail polish on top. If thats is how gel nails are done then dis regard this message. But they charged me $45. The sign with all the services had full set gel $40 and full set acrylic $30. When I asked the question the woman said something in another language and said my manager will be over in a very rude manner. If you are going to tell me how much I owe you then you should know what your prices are displayed as and be able to answer my question. The set was not bad except for the bubbles from the gel top. I understand your are busy but my experience was terrible and didn't appreciate the technical doing what she wanted and charging what she wanted to charge. Unfortunately not a place I can recommend. Stopped in for a mani/pedi on Tuesday, and 2 days later 3 out of 5 cuticles on my right hand are still bleeding. The woman who did my manicure was hard pressed to get off her phone and butchered my cuticles. I asked for rounded nails multiple times but she continued to give me squared nails. They get one star for the woman who gave me my pedicure who was more friendly. read more
