Awesome to work with all around! Highly recommend! We installed mini splits and a ceiling unit. Couldn't be happier!

Cancelled on me twice, including the day of. I don't usually leave reviews, but in this case look elsewhere.

We selected R B Queern to install a new mini-split system in our house. I interviewed 5 different…read morecompanies in total. RB Queern's proposal was clear and they spent time explaining why they chose the equipment outlined in their proposal. It was the most comprehensive of the 5 that I received. They had the best value in terms of total cost. They actually had the lowest bid. They reccomended an electrician for that portion of the work and they were prompt to respond and gave me a very solid bid compared to others. The installation took 3 days and I have to say that their technicians did nothing but a first class job. They were prompt, answered questions, took care of our house and cleaned up every day. They were a pleasure to have in your house. I would definitely recommend R B Queern for any time of HVAC work

I called R.B.Queern to come out to my house to tune-up my central AC system. My experience with…read morethem was both positive and negative. The PROS: The technicians were professional and friendly. During the 2 hours they worked, they were efficient and did not waste time. Because they charge by the hour ($165 per hour), this is important. The techs found an error in how the AC unit was installed, and they were able to fix it that day. Their fix prevented a big problem of water leaking into my ceiling. Also, when I reviewed the work order, I do not think I was over-charged for the parts they needed to fix my unit; the prices I was charged for the PVC parts seemed reasonable. The CONS: I was never told when I booked the appointment (as a new client) that they charge the travel time from when the tech leaves the previous job and drives to my house. As a result, I was charged $82.50 (30 min) for the tech to drive to my house from the previous job. This is an excessive charge. I understand that gasoline costs money, but to charge $165 per hour for travel time is too much. If they charged something like $30 per hour for travel time, that would be reasonable, and I would be leaving a 5 star review.

My business needed Propane exterior piping repaired due to a leak. I called several Plumbers in…read morethe area and none were bold enough to take on the job, causing me stress, aggravation, and time wasted. On top of that, this issue came during a time where the winter season had just changed, and this and other companies were backed up. After calling, Katie explained this to me, and explained that she would contact me back once a slot filled open. She did and a very professional team of two came and looked at the piping a few days later. They explained what they would be doing and went out and bought the tools they needed and repaired the pipe in a few hours. I also had some other unrelated piping issues and the tech was eager to take a look at it for me and attempted to help remedy the situation, and also said he would have his boss provide me with a quote. I will eventually call them again to take care of the other issues, because they were very professional and confident, unlike the 2 other contractors that came by. Great service! Will do business again.

Reliable and honest service. Had an issue with my AC and they came out and fixed it right away.read more

My problem was solved but I should have asked about pricing policies before scheduling service. I…read moredid not, and no info was offered. My problem was lack of heat (in winter) due to furnace tripping the breaker. A heating tech was sent. He replaced a heat sequencer. About 30 minutes after the tech left, the breaker tripped again. A few hours later Jestings sent an electrician who determined the breaker was "burned" and needed replacement. The electrician did not have a breaker with him and said he would put in a temporary one and return with the correct breaker. He came the next day and replaced the breaker. I was charged $90 in labor for each of the three calls, totalling $270 just for the labor. Materials and taxes brought the bill to $358. I questioned why I was being charged twice for the breaker replacement as these might routinely be carried on the truck, especially when the call concerns a potentially bad breaker. (I was told their electricians don't carry anything on the truck.) If they had asked, I could easily have opened the electrical box and communicated the number over the phone. Or texted a picture. It seems to me this third visit was a manufactured and unnecessary one. I was very disappointed in their policy but my fault for not asking, I guess. Service was provided within 6 hours. Office staff member was responsive and courteous over the phone. This was somewhat of an emergency so I am grateful that Jestings came to my aid and managed to fix the problem.
