They recently renovated the entire plaza, which was a nice update to the previous, sub-par design to this place. Some of the stores in this complex include Savers, Ocean State Job Lot, Marshalls, Price Rite, Auto Zone, Perfect Dental, CVS, XCited Nails, Spare Time Shop, Barber Shop, Puritan Cleaners, Sal's Pizza, Fruitti Fro-Yo, Sherwin Williams, Plaza Liquors, and Acorn Self Storage in the rear section of the building. I told the store associate, Dillon(sorry if I am not spelling your name correctly). Dillon didn't bat an eye. Took me up front,rang in each card one by one, stacked the receipts and cards neatly. Dillon was pleasant during the entire transaction even apologized for having to ring them up one at a time. I just want DT to know what a gem you have. We tweaked one and restrung another and Lori was so helpful in suggesting how to fix them and how to care for them. While she was finishing one I kept finding one beautiful thing after another while searching my brain for who I could give them to! Almost everything is from local artists, including Lori, who makes gorgeous beaded jewelry. One item will make you laugh out loud and the next thing you notice might bring tears...that painting will soon be hanging on my wall. Enjoy!

I found this beautiful driftwood with a blown glass bowl which they could probably put anything in it and use as a center piece. Totally happy with the find! Overall Service: The guy in here was very helpful and pointed out several different items that he thought would make a perfect gift. Wayside Country Store has a great selection of Linda Lou sink strainers, my mother was searching for a few designs she didn't own yet and we found them on Wayside Country Store's website. We placed an order for four different strainers (hummingbird, kitty, fishy & butterfly) but due to a storm and outage the store was unable to process the order. I gave them a call and they happily processed my order over the phone. They were extremely apologetic and friendly. Once the shipment arrived we found that we had received two kitty strainers and no fishy strainer. I emailed their customer service and they immediately offered a replacement or credit. We asked for a replacement stating we'd be happy to pay for it (just hoping maybe Wayside could cover shipping) however they shipped out a replacement to us at no cost. We will be ordering again!

The shop looks small from the outside but has rows and rows of colorful fabrics to choose from. There are tons of sewing supplies, sewing machines to buy, and they also service machines. Lots of free parking in front of the shop. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable which makes deciding what to pick much easier. Downstairs is where sewing classes are held. Of course, I just had to pick out some fabric for my next project!

I ordered a pair of boots as a gift for my daughter on 11/7/21. I got a message that they were…read moreshipped on 11/8/21. On 11/9/21 Phoenix sent a message that they refunded my money. I didn't get the boots. Then I got a phone call from a woman in NY (I'm in CA). She had received the boots! They came in a box addressed to her (she had recently bought something else from them). Inside the box was my name and information. This was how she knew to contact me. She had called Phoenix and talked to Customer Support who told her to just donate them. But she thought I might want them (so much more thoughtful than Phoenix Trading). On 11/15/21 I emailed Phoenix just asking why I hadn't received the boots. Jeffrey responded that the boots were damaged, so they didn't ship them. I emailed back and told him this was not the case. I then called and left a message, but no one returned my call. I emailed again and told them about the call from the woman in NY. I requested that they send her a return slip and then send the boots to me. Jeffrey responded saying that they had no record of the package being sent, or of having spoken with the woman who received it. He said they would not have told her to donate the item, but would have asked her to return to sender. I explained that she had already opened the package and couldn't seal it and return it in that way. I then called on the phone and the person I spoke with said I was lying and had made the story up. He said they were giving me a refund, so what more did I want. I didn't want to spend any more time on this. I suppose I could have asked her to take a picture of the box and boots and paperwork, but I didn't want to ask her to do any more. I gave up. When I finally told her there was nothing I could do she responded, "I keeped box with my name and address, boots and receipt with your name and your address. They are lying you. The boots was in perfect condition, no damage and I called Phoenix Trading and explained them situation. Inbelievable!!! If you will open case with them, I am on your side." Clearly Phoenix has some problems with internal communication. I certainly won't be doing business with them again.
