Oceanne is a female-owned small business that specializes in hand-made jewelry. The owner is from France. PHOTOS BELOW!! I finally visited this jewelry and boutique store on a Sunday in April 2023. They have limited hours and I can never visit during the week when I'm working so I'm glad that I finally came to visit. I believe I bought something small as a gift for someone when I originally visited but I can't remember as I'm writing this review over a year later. I didn't realise that Océanne opened a second store location in 2021 in the Pinecrest mall on the east side and they also now have a Westlake location (Crocker Park Mall) which opened in 2024. This first location in the Gordon Square neighbourhood of Cleveland opened in October 2017. ITEMS -- They sell various items from vegan nail polish, cute shirts and dresses, candles, mason jar cups, hats, books, sweaters, baby clothes, and of course, jewellery. Their jewellery is made right there, in-house. Customer service was wonderful when I first visited in April 2023 - the employee working answered my questions and she was very friendly. I visited recently again in December 2024 just to browse the store but I didn't buy anything. The Femme Libre (free woman) t-shirt looks cute. ABOUT THE OWNER -- "Born in southern France, Anne's journey led her to Cleveland in 2002, where she married Doc Harrill. In 2006, with her husband's support, she established Océanne, blending French elegance with the vibrancy of the American Midwest. Each meticulously crafted piece reflects Anne's commitment to craftsmanship, comfort, and functional beauty. From minimalist to whimsical designs, Océanne's jewelry is an expression of individuality, helping clientele look good, feel good, and do good. The brand gained popularity in Cleveland, leading to the opening of the Gordon Square storefront in 2017 and a second at Pinecrest in 2021." The cutest store I've been to in a while. We went in to get the permanent bracelets zapped on which was so quick and easy and they came out perfectly. Our tech even reattached my old one that fell off that I purchased at another store which was super sweet. They have such a great selection of bracelets and have a mix of expensive and inexpensive ones. We shopped around for a bit after and they have some really cute Cleveland merch, other jewelry, and clothes. Highly recommend this place! read more

I've bought quite a few gifts from this neighborhood gem over the years but this time I got something for me. They have an adorable charm bar with necklaces, bracelets and purse chains. It's a shame customer service here doesn't match the beautiful jewelry or the aesthetic. I've visited several times and have never had a pleasant interaction with the employees. Fortunately, there are other reviews below that attest to this same sentiment so I can confidently say it's not me. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. Not until they do some true customer service trainings and/or decide they value their customers. read more

Completely unique jewelry boutique in Cleveland. One of the only places you can go, meet the makers, and even custom order special gifts for family and friends! Let me start off by saying that the earrings I purchased for my mother are beautiful, 5 star-worthy earrings. I came to write a review about the employees working in the store. I was literally the only customer in the store, and was not greeted when I walked in. There were a few girls sitting together in plain sight working on jewelry...when I was ready to check out, it's like I was a total inconvenience for the girl... I actually felt uncomfortable. This is a small business, and the vibes I got from the employees didn't reflect that they gave a shit if I purchased anything or not. I don't need my ass kissed, but I guess I expected a warmer experience in-store. read more

As you walk down Detroit in Gordon Square, you can't help but notice the beautiful window display of this quaint boutique. Inside you will be met by smiling faces and beautiful handmade jewelry and other lovely gifts. It's such a pleasant experience. A perfect new addition to the Gordon Square Arts District! Previously only available online and at craft shows, Océanne has opened a storefront which doubles as their studio. I find myself here quite frequently to purchase handmade gifts for friends and family! I love the personal shopping experience, getting to know the staff and makers, and how convenient it is to have small adjustments or customizations made to my pieces! The jewelry is high quality, affordable, and always on-trend! Definitely check out this gem if you are in the area! read more

Pretty good. But you gotta do the work and hit the code and go thru the process. The WSM right now is under construction. So the produce side is smaller and off to the side not the main hall. Then you go out and walk around the sidewalk off Lorain to get to the meat side. Produce side is to the left. Smaller space but they have it organized better. Everyone is selling the same stuff and prices are fairly similar for each stall. But it is brighter and well laid out. I guess you can go by who looks the most trustworthy to who you buy from. Just keep an eye out to what you buy and make sure it's what you get. That was the old market. Hopefully it's better now. TBH I did not buy any veggies or fruit. Meat side is abundant with meat, fish, pastry, sauces, cheese and other vendors. You can find a deal. We got 3 pounds of ground meat for $18. Sunday is an off day some vendors are off so not all the stalls are filled. But more than enough. We also went to Christopher the bread guy for our favorite bread. So good! We got the rustic Italian small loaf and they sliced it. Good sandwiches this week for lunch. But they have a million other options too. This is a nice little treasure and it's worth the time and effort to go here. Grab lunch and hang out on W25th it's fun and worth the visit.
