My family and I just rented a class C motorhome from this place. I will be completely honest. I will give you to good the bad and the ugly. First of all, we did get the motorhome we placed on hold with our $150 deposit. Second, yes the motorhome could of been a bit cleaner but overall in good condition. Third, staff was really nice and friendly. They made it clear of all the fees they can charge at the end of the trip from your $1000 deposit. So if you don't want much taken from your deposit, then just follow the conditions. There is no hidden fees. They clearly state, AND make you sign a form stating what can and will be deducted from the $1000. So make sure you READ! After following all their conditions, we were returned $972 from our deposit right there as soon as we turned in the keys. There was no delay in getting our money back. Now for the the trip. The motorhome ran really smooth. It didn't give us any problems, motor or transmission wise. At the campsite, the only fall down that we had, was that there was a hole in the water-hose. So we couldn't use the water from the campsite. Thankfully they showed us at the rental location how to use the built in water pump, and it worked great with the water tanks. The awning did seem to get stuck a little when opening and closing, but once again nothing terrible. AC was nice and cold, both TVs worked great and also the outside stereo worked great. Overall if you are looking for a simple RV just to get the job done. This is the spot to go. If you are looking for luxury, and perfection, this is not the place for you. I highly recommend this place for your simple camping needs. My family and I had a blast in the RV for 3 days and 2 nights. We will DEFINITELY be renting from them again read more

AVOID this business which is shifty and shady. We were told we were renting a new 2020 vehicle, they gave us a 2007, which was not ready on time and dirty. Worrisome in Covid time for sure. Nobody wants to spend a trip cleaning men's pubic hair all over their families travel vehicle. It took us a day to figure out there were no license plates on the vehicle - who knows if it was even legal!!! Plenty of safety issues including a slide that moved out on the 405 freeway with our 6 year old on it because it didn't have a brace. We had to shove something in slide to keep it from opening. The back door was difficult to open from the inside and an empty fire extinguisher. DO NOT give them a cash deposit and DO make sure you check your mileage when dropping off. DO make sure they give you an itemized receipt of your charges upon return. Why did we continue our trip after a day? Desperate to get out, other reservations we couldn't back out on and kids who were so excited. Just avoid this place, their business conduct is horrible and they don't care about anything except your money. Beware. Such a SCAM! Fault advertising and Misleading. STAY AWAY It took me a couple of weeks not to be so upset in writing this review, I DO NOT want anyone to experience the same. Strike #1 We found an RV on Outdoorsy.com by this company, we booked it and said wait for response to confirm, we didn't get any email back so we called Stuart the owner, he said to speak to his wife Dina. We spoke to Dina, she said it's all good, we have a booking confirmation over the phone for the date July 17-22 and we should be getting an email from Stuart "my boss" she said. We went ahead and booked the RV Parks and other activities, days later we have never received any emails, so we called again before July 17, Dina then said "we don't have RV" It will be back on Saturday and it's a different one, a newer one, lot #175. We were bumped but said ok, we changed all the reservations. Lucky we managed to change without penalty but we spent hours and hours on the phone. Strike #2 We were in contact with Dina, and all seem to be going well, she asked for a credit card to deposit $160, which we found it strange since all charges should through outdoorsy.com but we didn't think it was a big deal. We called on July 18 as Dina said we can pick up the RV the night before, we called multiple time to confirm because we noticed the way they are handling business, seem to be unorganized and untrustworthy. Again, we called around 4pm before we drove there and Dina confirmed, all was good. Once we got there, there were no RV shown like the picture, but a run down RV she was trying to get us to take it instead of the one shown in the picture. She lied that the RV was in an accident at 1pm. because she forgot she had a conversation with us at 4pm. We lost a few hundreds for a few nights we had RV parks reservations. I saw an ad on craigslist for an rv rental and I called the number and talked with a guy named stuart and he was very helpful and upfront. I go to the rv rental property and meet a lady named Dana and she was also very helpful and upfront. I also met a guy named Isaiah that works in the office thats as considerate and nice as stuart and Dana. Now,I gave Dana a $200 dollar deposit on December 30th to hold an rv that I wanted to rent on the first week of 2021. I couldn't move in and asked stuart if I could get a refund on my security deposit and he said yes and I got the refund back from Isaiah today and had no problems at all with anybody from oceans 11 rental. Stuart,Dana and Isaiah were awesome to meet and interact with. My experience with oceans 11 rental was excellent. read more

I've been living here since about January 2023 it's honestly 10/10 the staff and owner are incredibly friendly and attentive. It's a dog friendly environment which is rare but also super needed for pet owner families! It's clean and neat has a laundry facility, propane services, and they always help with set up! I'm not really harsh on other companies that do me wrong or don't provide the services that they claim they offer, but this one is the worst of the worst. The most disgusting location, the rudest people, not clean at all, and drug attic's living on the property. Upon arriving to pick up my RV, they had an issue with the RV. They said that they're going to fix it right now, and they so-called did. When I got the RV and took it home and got everything ready To head out to the river, the generator was not working, and had no AC the whole trip up. My puppy and three kids were scorched hot the whole trip there. We had to make unnecessary stops the whole way just so we can get some air. I contacted this company over and over and over and over again, and no help was given. They just kept asking me to do things on the RV to see if it would work, but it never did. After arriving to the campsite we noticed cigarette burns, ash, Most lights were not working, AC vents were not working, fridge raider went out, and so on. The lady that works at the RV place is very unusual, when it comes to giving her information on a problem with the RV. She keep saying OK OK OK let's see what we can do. They offered to send a mechanic out there, but the mechanic would not drive three hours out there, The mechanic himself said you better get a discount for this, that RV is trash. After the trip and taking the RV back, I had given them $1000 cash deposit, and paid for the RV rental on a card. When I arrive there, I asked for my deposit, and they said oh we don't have any cashier you have to come back in two days. Mind I say that I live two hours away from them. I was furious, upon waiting there in the parking lot for them to figure out how to get my deposit, gang unit police pulled up on me very hard, and made me feel very uncomfortable like I'm in a place where there is a lot of crime. The officers kept asking me questions about my tattoos, and then just left after I told them I just dropped off an RV show them the keys and they took off. Then there is Stewart the owner, he said I'm so sorry for the trouble I'm going to take care of you I'm going to give you $25 off a day, and I said no way, that is unacceptable. Then he dropped off's $75 a day. Which I was done arguing, so I said whatever. They charge me for cleaning fee and sewage dump fee when I already dumped the sewage at a dump location and we deep cleaned the whole RV. I asked for a refund on those two fees that they charged me, and they said oh, we sent it to you. Two weeks later, I called him back saying I didn't receive my refund, and he says it's only $128. I said it's only $128 for you, but I work hard for my money, I don't scam people like you do. Then he said look I'll send you the receipt and I'll show you that I sent the refund, but he had sent the refund that same day two weeks after he said he sent it. I will do everything in anything in my power to stop people from renting from this place. You're going to get scammed, you're going to get robbed of your money. The RVs are not in good shape, the owner said "oh that RV is done for. " so he knew what was going on. They're disgusting and despicable, and no one should ever give them their money. They ask for cash payment and cash deposit so they can keep it. First time renter of an RV and when I was told it would total around 1100, when returned they added so many fees and charges they ended up keeping 1650. The RV kept making a noise and I had to drive back after already on the hwy and he still charged me for those miles. Charged cleaning fee even though I cleaned all the tanks like I was told. Charged for insurance $180 because Allstate may not cover he said. And as a first time renter I blame myself for allowing this to happen. He had the nerve to say since you are so happy give us a good review on yelp. I'm confused as to when did he think I was happy?? Charged for cleaning and insurance and miles that I shouldn't have came to an extra $375 alone. The vehicle was 2011 and I was told it was a 2018 model. Lies from the start. Please do your research unlike me before renting. And avoid using them. As you can see, once they have your deposit they don't want to give it back. Location looked shady to start with but I was judging. Now I see why they do business there. I only got back 350 from my $1000 deposit. I rented for 3 days rv at 299.00 yet owed 1650 in the end..... no damage to rv and clean inside and out with clean tanks .... AVOID PLEASE Ps they don't use masks in this location. I guess due to my rental falling in the same month of Halloween, this would explain my horrific experience with this company. I took my family out for the weekend, only to have my RV leaking water on the inside/out. There was enough propane filling the inside of the RV to blow up a city block. The restroom was wasted space, because it didn't work.The owner Stuart later accused me of damaging the back bumper, claiming that his camera system would prove the RV bumper was fine upon me leaving with the RV. But a ghost shut down his system. So after going back and forth with him I was out of an extra $300 plus the cost of the joke of a RV. He gives the small business owner a bad name and I now understand why the big companies get all the business. I will gladly pay extra to the bigger companies. We rented an RV for 8 days from Ocean's 11. This is a small business with personality and follow through. The first RV I rented had problems so they helped me out with a fee upgraded RV. I got the Leprechaun. It was clean and worked great. Make sure to understand the contract. There are many fees that are explained upfront before you sign the agreement (i.e. propane $10day, cleaning fee, mileage fees. The fees are standard or even less than other RV rentals. Only .45 per mile after your credited miles are spent. I saw another place that charged .95 per mile. You may need to use a personal check to pay for the deposit. Stewart, Dana, Isaiah and the rest of the crew are all fantastic to work with. They kind of remind me of the cast in Ocean's 11.......thank you guys for the great memories. read more

Decided to attend our family reunion last minute. I've heard so many great things about this place, especially the staff. I was nervous to rent an RV, but desperately needed one. Boy am I glad I did. The owner Stewart really came through and I was able to rent a nice RV on such short notice. Isaiah gave me the sweetest welcome accompanied with a donut. I was lucky to meet 2 female staff members, Dana & O. I really hope I got the names right. They went out of their way to have my RV nice & clean, even though their shifts were over. They quickly called this guy named Robert, who was also about to leave. He washed the RV without hesitation, which I really appreciated. He was so funny & polite. Definitely one of a kind. I returned the RV 4 days later & was running late due to traffic. I was so relieved that Robert was called to receive it & park it. Such a nice guy & so helpful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this rental place at all cost. My family and I rented a class C RV from this place and the overall experience was awful. Owner made a switch on our original selection without notifying us in advance. Basically leaving you with a tough decision. Take the POS they're offering, or walk away and miss out on your camping trip. Overall bad customer service, terrible inventory, & shady business tactics. The highlight of our experience was when our RV caught fire while camping at the Kern River. Icing on the cake was when they took the CASH deposit (Big Mistake) and blamed us for the fire. DO NOT rent from this absolute joke of a "business". I hated to give one star.. they deserve negative stars!!! We had reserved a Mercedes 2021 and I confirmed this via email as I never got any confirmation but even if you get it in writing it doesn't matter they will still screw you over. I also emailed the day before and was told I could pick up at 8am. We arrived at 9.30am on Friday and after filling out the contract was told that the RV would not be ready for a minimum of one hour! Then we found out that the one we had reserved was no longer available'! We were showed a gross dirty old RV. I couldn't believe this.. we didn't have much choice as our camping reservation started that day so we went back home and waited for their call that it was ready. I did try to book elsewhere but there was nothing available. The day got later and we had to leave by 5 at the latest to get to our campsite. I was told they had to "fix" something and it still wasn't ready at 2pm. Then at 3pm I get a call that the one I had initially reserved had been returned but of course we had to wait while they "cleaned" it! We finally were able to pick it up at 4.45pm but we still had to get it home and load up so we could not leave until the next morning and guess what? Yep Stuart still charged us the 3 night rental even though we lost a day.. at this point we were exhausted of dealing with this sh** show and just got the hell out of there. I re-cleaned the whole thing, it was dirty! Hello people we are in a pandemic! While we were away we had a few issues, the main one was the fridge kept flying open when we went around bends and made such a mess. The hose had a hole in it and we had to replace it in able to get water to the RV. When we returned we cleaned it and it was cleaner than when it was given to us but they still charged us a cleaning fee. Then the best part. They owed us $838 from my deposit and said they don't have any cash or a check in the office so "could I swing by tomorrow morning "!!!!! At this point my husband was about to lose it.. Stuart finally Venmo'd us the money because I was seriously ready to call the police! I cannot say enough bad things about this place. Save your sanity and rent elsewhere or better yet get a trailer dropped to your campsite. This place should be closed down. Stuart is just money hungry and does not care at all about his customers! Terrible experience. We rented an RV for a 3-day trip which we had to cut short because nothing on the RV worked. The fridge went out and our food spoiled. The heater didn't work. The shower parts were broken and fell apart when we tried to use it. The spigot on the sink kept popping off and water went everywhere. The door handle in the back was broken and our toddler nearly fell out the back end several times just by pushing on the door. They assured us the battery would last all weekend and it died the first day and would not recharge. When we brought it back early and complained, they refused to refund us any money. We paid almost $1500 for two nights in that piece of crap! All because we wanted to support a local business. This business is really sketchy and will rip you off. We were looking online for a camper/rv for about 2 weeks then we came across this company. It was by far the best value for the money, so we called to verify if anything was missing and that everything was legit, but Stewart assured that nothing was missing. He was very helpful on the phone and we were warmly welcomed when we stopped by to look at the RVs. We rented an RV with a slide out and that made a HUGE difference. I rented an RV for Burning Man through Oceans 11 and it ended up being a bad experience. I can't recommend this business. First, when I made the reservation over the phone, Oceans 11 didn't seem like the most professional operation in the world. So eventually I decided it would be a good idea to go visit them in person. The staff and ownership was sweet but totally disorganized. They had a hand-written list of names on a clip board that constituted their "Burning Man Reservation System". My name was on there, but I had no RV assigned to me. "Don't worry, they said, we'll get you one. Okaaay. But then they tell me they can't rent me the tier of RV I reserved for the price I reserved. When I pressed them on this, they offered to return my $300 deposit and cancel the deal -- not very useful in the world of Burning Man RV rentals where everything gets booked up fast. I pressed them further and they relented -- saying that they would give me someone else's RV! Too bad for that guy! After this visit, I received multiple phone calls from the owner where he kept changing the specific RV I was going to get -- giving me new options -- and pressing me to decide on the new options as soon as possible. Obviously, he was juggling his overbooked and disorganized reservation list, but I played along. Finally, the week before the event, the owner called me back again. He claimed that the RV that he reserved for me had been destroyed by the prior renter of it. A little bit hard to believe given the timing and what I knew about his reservation system. My options were either to drop down to the $189/night tier (which would have been too small for our group), or upgrade to the $359/night tier (which would be too big and more than we wanted to spend). Given those options, I had to go bigger. I expected that they would still honor my $259/night rate -- not my fault that the RV I was supposed to get got destroyed (or, more likely, reassigned to someone else). But no, the owner wanted me to pay the $359/night rate. We negotiated and agreed on $300/night. I never would have agreed to pay that, but again, it was the week of the event and I had practically no choice. So, now I was paying an extra $451 for a bigger RV that I didn't want or need, and with a worse configuration for our group. It was a giant diesel bus of a vehicle that was extremely stressful and tiresome to drive. It clipped through diesel at the rate of 8 miles to the gallon. Not fun for a 1200 mile trip. The RV itself was in pretty mediocre shape. It was shocking that it was built in 2007. Felt like it was from the 80s. It was just kind of gross all over. One lowlight was the totally unusuable fold-out couch mattress; as my friend put it, "it looks like war crimes were committed on that thing". A variety of things in the RV didn't work. The driver cabin air conditioning didn't work. The refrigerator didn't work. The water pump didn't work (other than to produce a trickle from the restroom hand sink) so the kitchen sink, shower, and toilet didn't work. Not much point in having an RV if all of these things don't work! Stuff would just randomly fall off while we were driving -- like the closet doors in the back. That was funny at least. Halfway through the event, the generator stopped working. So, no air-conditioning, no electricity, etc. Super stressful when we realized that without the generator we weren't going to be able to slide back in the slide-outs, and we were going to be marooned on the black rock playa! Miraculously the generator randomly started to work again the next day. On the drive back one of the rear tires blew out. It just ripped to shreds -- it must have been in very bad shape when they gave us the vehicle -- totally unsafe. One positive surprise, this was on the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend -- I called, the owner answered, and he actually sent someone out to change the tire. Only cost us 2.5 hours of sitting on the side of the highway. One negative non-surprise is that the tire the guy brought to replace the shredded tire looked to be in even worse shape -- obviously they're cheaping out on replacement parts and no wonder the first tire blew out. After all this the owner indicated he would consider refunding some of the charges, but after promising to call me back a couple of times he just started avoiding and ignoring my calls. Pretty unprofessional -- the least he could do would be to just tell me no. Disappointing experience. Beware of Oceans11! read more

Our family had a wonderful time in Big Bear with the class C overhead bed. I didn't have a lot of experience driving an RV but it was pretty easy to get used to, even on the mountain roads. The interior/exterior was clean which made the experience that much better! We all slept well due to the blackout shades which came with the RV. People even stopped to compliment and ask questions about the RV in the campsite! As for the staff, they were friendly, responsive, and very easy to work with. I found this RV rental business on the internet and decided to go and check them out. I visited them in April and asked them about a rental for July. They showed me some of what they had available right then but also told me that their stock changes as people return rentals. I had an opportunity to go back and see other rentals that were not available during my first visit. It was after visiting that I finally decided to look up the Yelp reviews and they were not stellar. I still took a chance and rented an RV. What I will say is that the RV had a few issues that the staff immediately addressed and took care of as best as they could. The RV was very nice looking but needed a little TLC. The main thing that impressed me about the staff is the customer service and care. I have not seen customer service like this in forever. The staff and the owner, Stewart, made sure that we were satisfied and happy. I don't think the word "No" is in their vocabulary. Big shout out to Dana, O, Robert and Isaiah. The price was great and the RV perfectly adequate for our trip to the beach, PLUS there was not a 3 day minimum that everyone else had! We rented it for 2 days - making it affordable for us. It was nice to have a place at the beach to get in out of the sun and the refrigerator, bathroom and generator. When we returned the RV the first thing Stewart asked was, "Did the kids have fun?" definitely a zero!!! used this company and cannot be any more disappointed! i have also seen in craig's list with his name and phone number saying he will pay for 5 star reviews. if you look at the rating it looks like this is the case. 21, 5's and 17, 1's. both times they gave me a smaller worse rv than we agreed upon. 35 foot c class to a really old b "conversation van" was the first. i said i was going to New Mexico and did not realize it is a state in the usa. read all the reviews and you will see he is shady and you will get scammed. go farther to a reputable company or you get what you deserve. i won't use this company again. He says this is a fraud review??? What bills don't I pay? I can give exact dates and actually had to take Stewart Silver to court since he defrauded me!!! Case number 16Iwsc00276 LA court system, look it up. Yes, I won my case and there was another person suing him on the same day as me! He changed the name to Oceans 11, from LA Discount RV Rentals, after he had so many complaints, two from the BBB in 12 months. Out of 25 reviews on yelp 19 were 1's. Terrible "company" to do any kind of business with. They will keep your deposit money and they will not have the rv you booked online. Instead they will just try to give you whatever old rv they have on hand when you get there. And they are move expensive than other companies on top of that! The campers are run down and look like homeless people live in them. Definitely not well maintained, very dangerous to take out onto the road. The owner of this is dishonest and will charge you for things that he shouldnt. Wish I would have read the reviews of this place before I decided to rent from them. I used to drive by the marina del rey site and walked in and was lied to about almost everything. Was given a rental that had a ton of problems and he refused to fix anything or reimburse me for ruining our family trip. Good advice would be to rent from someone other than stewart!
