Food was terrible. The kids burger was burnt flat. Had to request a new one. Calamari was dry and burnt! The Blackened chicken Alfredo had no taste, had to add salt and pepper to be able to eat it. My husband's stake was burnt in the outside but raw in the inside. He requested it well done. The karaoke was way too loud also. I was one of four groups that was there to buy donuts and I learned that most people stop in because of the donut hype, but in all honesty I was disappointed as the donuts were average at best. I paid $11.65 for a 1/2 dozen which I found pricey for the quality of the donut. Had to stop by and see if the donuts lived up to their "best donuts on the beach" sign outside. They were pretty good for cake doughnuts, though they felt like they had been sitting out for a while. They had limited flavors when we got there, but I liked the chocolate peanut butter the best. Unfortunately, don't think that they compare to fractured prune. Because they don't have as much variety and flavor and they aren't hot and fresh. They are pretty good for being in a gas station though. read more

So this is a gas station/convenience store that... feels like a small gas station/convenience store. The two gentlemen who helped me were nice enough, and it was a quick in-and-out. The donuts were good! I come from a place flush with incredible donuts, and these wouldn't have stood out there, but at the shore the options are a lot more limited. The flavors are pretty basic, but the donuts themselves are nicely executed, if a bit small. Price is right, though! If you find yourself needing donuts in OC, this is a solid choice. read more

Passed through Ocean City MD on the way home from VA beach. We were looking to find donuts to bring back to our drive to Jersey/NY. After searching all over yelp and seeing that all the donut places closed early we came across Oceans Market. The donuts were buy one get one free so I decided to buy a dozen. I paid a little over $6 for 12 donuts! That's unheard of where I'm from. I asked the lady if they were half off because it was later in the day and she said yes and I should come back again to try them fresh. I came here at around 9am on a Saturday. I was so excited to try these doughnuts. I got 1/2 dozen doughnuts. I was pretty excited to see that they were made to order so I didn't mind the wait. After getting them, I sat outside on the chairs to bite in. Only 2 out of the 6 doughnuts were made to order, and the rest seemed to have been made sometime this morning. Given the coconut and rainbow sprinkles were hot, I ate them first. Wow were they delicious. Covered in glaze and sticky they were to die for. I ate both of them in about 2 minutes flat. After that, I moved on to the others that were made earlier in the morning. They were just average. I think if they aren't hot right out of the frier, then I'm not sure they are worth it. The flavor of them is good but maybe I'm just not the biggest fan of cake doughnuts. 4 stars when they are hot, 3 stars when they are cold. I also was a little worried about the dough being made in large plastic non food grade containers. I almost preferred not to have seen that. read more

Yes Ocean Mart is most famous for their donuts but don't forget their also a full service gas station and convince store. Although the donuts are the star ( in my opinion a thousand times better than Fractured Prune) , I've also had to shop here for necessities on an impromptu cookout. 2.99 for a bottle of BBQ, 3.99 for a loaf of bread and 21.99 for a bag of Hoop Tea. There is a list of donuts directly above the counter. The girl was very nice and the other employee was making more donuts. 2 minutes we were in and out. The donuts are a bit more fluffier than the Fractured Prune but not as fluffy as Dunkin Donuts. Price is about $1.10/ea-I got a half dozen (glazed, chocolate glazed and sprinkles.) They weren't bad, but they weren't made fresh to order like at that other iconic donut place. The kindness of the owner was unbelievable! It was 7 pm and the donuts are only made fresh in the morning. He had about 9 donuts left from the morning, but I knew I couldn't get those for the kids.
