Not much egg and bacon here but still a great sandwich for the size of the bagel
    David S.

We got here around eight a m.There was two lines getting in, went very quickly.People were friendly prices aren't bad. I got and everything bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. It was outstanding. The only thing is, they only put one egg on it. And two thin slices of bacon, so I was searching for more, I wanna paid more for more egg. Most of the people that come here do takeout so you have a couple benches Hello everybody's friendly

I have no idea why this place is so popular. Ridiculous overpriced portion sizes. If you want good chicken salad where the container is actually full go to Montego Bay Marketplace.

Well, I had one little slice of avocado, I am gluten-free, but they could've put at least another slice of avocado on there and a slice of purple onion. I don't know how much I paid for it but on the menu it's some the Malibu bunny choice of bagel seven dollars veggie cream cheese was good and the bagel was decent, but it needs a little more love

They have the best bagels in Southern Delaware so far! The only place that makes a salt bagel. This location is newly opened. I have been to one other location. Love the comfortable interior dining room! Service was quick at lunchtime. I was lucky enough to get the very last salt bagel of the day and enjoyed that with some plain cream cheese. The cream cheese was very plentiful. If you want an authentic NYC style bagel come here! They also serve all kinds of sandwiches on bagels and rolls.

It's actually hard to find a decent bagel at the beach & Surf does it right! The bagels are fresh & tasty. Portions are generous tho I didn't love my tuna salad (it was ok I'm just very picky). The menu is vast so you have many options beyond a bagel & a schmear Friendly customer service & a parking lot which is a bonus!

Ugh - this was such a disappointment. For my last day in Ocean City, I wanted to pick up some bagels to take home. I had my eye on a shop, but when I got there, they weren't open - despite the fact that Yelp and other places online said they were. So I did a quick Yelp search and this place was nearby. I didn't realize I was actually going to Delaware, but well, when in Rome! This place had good reviews and the parking lot was hopping, so I figured I was in for a treat. I ordered the sundried tomato bagel toasted with plain cream cheese. And I'm glad I waited to taste-test before ordering the dozen I'd intended to order. This bagel was pretty terrible. It tasted stale like it was three days old. It took over 15 minutes to get it - with a simple toast and cream cheese, and even then, it wasn't toasted! I was only able to eat a couple bites and then I had to find some other place for breakfast. Maybe I got them on a bad day, but wow, did NOT live up to the reviews online.

Surf Bagel - Fenwick, DE We were down in Fenwick on vacation and figured we'd try Surf Bagel for breakfast--and it did not disappoint. We grabbed three bagels: * One was a cinnamon raisin--simple, fresh, and perfectly chewy. * The second was my go-to: a whole wheat bagel, toasted, with scrapple, egg, and cheese. Solid, classic, and hit the spot. * And then there was the beast: an everything bagel loaded with bacon, egg, cheese, hash brown, avocado, scrapple, and pepper jack. That thing needed its own zip code. Delicious, but definitely a bring your appetite situation. The bagels were fresh and flavorful, and the sandwiches were stacked just right--hearty without being greasy. The place itself has a cool, laid-back vibe with a surfer twist. Clean, friendly, and the kind of breakfast joint that makes you wish you had one back home. Would absolutely come back. If you're anywhere near Fenwick, this place is worth the stop.

    Untoasted sad little bagel
    Taylor R.

The place is cute, they advertise hot bagels and have a drawing of a toaster on their wall but their actual bagels come cold? Who wants to eat a cold bagel with cream cheese? Maybe this is just a niche place that doesn't serve what they advertise. It was honestly a disappointing start to our beach vacation. I definitely wouldn't stop by again, find a good bagel Place instead! Sad bagels.

We arrived about an hour before closing, and even though the parking lot was very full, we had a great experience. I immediately loved the place settings and decor. Everything was so thoughtfully arranged, especially for an outdoor patio, and it created such a welcoming atmosphere. Our waitress was friendly and attentive and quickly brought out bowls of water for our dogs. It was a small gesture, but I really appreciated that she thought of them too. We were also very happy with our meals. My son and I both ordered the tuna rare, and it was cooked perfectly. The tuna practically melted in our mouths and was absolutely delicious. My husband had the fish sandwich and enjoyed his meal as well. The combination of the beautiful outdoor setting, great food, friendly service, and genuinely dog-friendly atmosphere made it a wonderful end to our evening. I ordered the tuna poke bowl, which unfortunately was pretty mediocre. The tuna just didn't have much flavor and tasted a bit "meh." My husband ordered the shrimp and grits, though, and that was a completely different story. It was perfection. I loved that they use nice, thick shrimp, and the seasoning was excellent. The service was probably the biggest disappointment. Our server seemed visibly frustrated and rolled her eyes several times, which I didn't particularly appreciate. The whole staff seemed a little off when we arrived, almost like they had just come out of a rough staff meeting and were already bracing themselves for the mid-morning rush. I'd absolutely come back because I loved the atmosphere and there are clearly some really great dishes on the menu, but I do think there's room for improvement when it comes to both the food and the service. Hopefully they take this review in the constructive spirit it's intended, because there's a lot of potential here!

The Chef looks familiar, I think I tasted his food before at one of the Celebrity Chefs Brunches for Meals on Wheels. I remember it being fantastic. There is outside dining but I booked inside as we weren't sure how warm it would be in May. It turned out to be a cold and windy weekend so we were very glad to be inside, plus the outside tables have a view of the highway. What a cute little restaurant inside; it is very tiny. We were crammed into a table in the corner. It was difficult to get past the other diners at their tables, and we could hear all the conversations around us. Every table was packed, I can't imagine what it's like in this room during the busy summer. Noelle was our server and she was amazing; very knowledgeable and friendly. She described the homemade bread service to us, and we ordered 2 Coastalpolitans which were made with Tito's Vodka, lime, soju, St. Germaine, and cranberry. They were sweet, and tart, and bright, and delicious. We decided on crab toast instead of the bread, and Noelle said we made the right choice. Wow, she was correct. The crab toast blew us away. It was chunks of crab on fluffy, crispy milk bread with pickled scallions, radish, lemon aioli, kelp powder, and lime. So beautiful and so delectable! RJ ordered the Pork Chop, which Noelle said One Coastal is known for, and I ordered the NJ Day Boat Scallops. We had no words. We sat there and quietly enjoyed every bite while listening to the surrounding tables, and knew we found a maybe not so hidden gem. My scallops were delicate and buttery and sweet, and melted in my mouth. RJ said his pork chop was tender and juicy, and the best he ever had. That is saying something. We finished with bread pudding because who doesn't love a good bread pudding, and we like to try it whenever we see one that looks interesting. It was salty and sweet and just so perfect. What One Coastal lacks in space and view, it makes up for with food and service. What a delightful place, and Noelle was a pleasure and a joy. We will definitely return to try all the other things and be lucky to sit anywhere inside or out.
