    3 Buttermilk Pancakes (3)

Fast service, solid food, fair prices in a local family spot equals a winning combination. I got 3 eggs over easy (in a bowl) so I could put the beef hash on top and then it came with some pancakes. Everything was cooked well, nice size portions and the pancakes tasted like your classic welcoming buttermilk pancakes. I also got a 1/2 dozen cake donuts to go. I ate while my wife ran a 1/2 marathon lol...hey we all make our own decisions in life.

A typical diner-style restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. Service was quick given how busy they were on a Saturday morning. Donut was the best part!

this is an authentic breakfast place if you're in Ocean City there's one on 92nd St. and there's one down on eighth or ninth Street. it will always be crowded in the summer so I would say order ahead and take it to go and plan on 15 to maybe 45 minute wait sometimes but it is worth it. They serve mimosas and bloody Mary's at the 92nd St. The hashbrowns are to die for, the donuts are bar none the best in town and scrapple, if you're a fan, can't go wrong! Is an old school family restaurant that's been in town for a long time. The decor is basically the same but friendly staff and always accommodating. Don't miss it!

Overall, this is a good spot for breakfast. Eggs are always cooked perfectly and my kids go wild for these pancakes. This time, I ordered the Neptune Benedict which is essentially an egg's Benedict with crab cake. The crab cake itself was plentiful and full of lump crab meat. My biggest complaint was (see image) it was overwhelmingly covered in the hollandaise sauce which overpowered the entire meal. My wife had the French toast that she enjoyed but said it lacked anything to make it stand out. My mother in law had the Breakfast Wrap and she loved it, saying the eggs and sausage were very flavorful. Our server was super friendly and attentive and I love when they make personal recommendations. I do love the location too, it's centrally located and I love the fun "family owned" decore

So glad we finally checked out this popular OC breakfast spot! Definitely one of our new fav meals. Service was super friendly and very attentive. My fiancés cream chipped beef was excellent and a hearty portion. My egg white veggie scramble was the perfect light breakfast and the veggies were obviously fresh. We shared a warm cinnamon bun which was to die for!

Visited this for breakfast in the winter season, it got pretty crowded when we were there. That definitely shows how great of a place it is. The service was great and everyone was kind. The prices were great for the portions. The donuts were delicious. The breakfast sandwich was amazing and devoured quickly. They put a good portion of bacon on it.

The glazed donut was not good. The donut was extremely toooo chewy. The chocolate glazed donut was much better- chewy still but much less chewy than the original glazed donut.

I can't give Laytons any less than 5 stars because their food is great. Their service is great. And they don't lose their minds 4 months a year when OC's population swells Tenfold. The food is delivered fast and fresh all the time. Note: their parking lot is a little tight and you may have to wait to pullout if they are getting a delivery but that doesn't happen often. You can also park on the side across from their door. Do not leave without trying their freshly made donuts. You will be the hit of your vacation group if you come home with a dozen. Offseason is a dream. No waiting from mid October on. I'm headed there now for a donut

An amazing breakfast place in Ocean City. Quick, nice service with yummy breakfast. Definitely the perfect spot to go in the morning before heading to the beach!

$14.99 | Meatlovers Omelette - ham, bacon, sausage, and cheese. I added diced red onions for $1. Extremely good! Potatoes were just average

Customer service - 5 out of 5 Wait time - 5 out of 5 Atmosphere - 3 out of 5 Cleanliness - 2 out of 5 Food quality - 3.5 out of 5 My wife was really excited to give this restaurant a try for breakfast because she had been there once before and loved their pancakes. When we arrived, we noticed that the restaurant was quite busy, but the estimated wait time of 15 minutes was pretty accurate, if not a few minutes shorter than expected. As we were seated at our table, we couldn't help but notice that it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. There were still a few crumbs from the previous diners. However, our waitress promptly came over to take our order and she was both friendly and professional. One thing that really bothered me was the condition of the walls underneath the windows next to our table. They were extremely dirty and appeared as though they hadn't been cleaned in years. This was not only unsightly, but also made me feel a bit uneasy about the overall cleanliness of the establishment. When it came to the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. My omelette was a delight - it was packed with tasty meat, cheese, and cooked to perfection. The potatoes that accompanied it had good flavor, but were a bit on the boring side. On the other hand, I had heard other diners raving about the donuts, so I couldn't resist trying an Apple fritter, which is a classic favorite of mine. Unfortunately, I was quickly disappointed when I took my first bite. The fritter lacked the distinct taste of apples and cinnamon that I was hoping for. It barely had any glaze on top and the amount of apple pie filling on it was minimal. Apple fritters are supposed to be generously filled with diced apples throughout the pastry, creating a sensational experience with every bite. This particular donut was a letdown and definitely not worth the $4 plus dollars. To add to the mixed reviews, my wife's pancakes were a bit too sweet for my taste, but that could have been due to the choice of toppings. While the omelette was a winner, I must say that I have had better breakfast experiences at many other restaurants throughout Ocean City. Considering all of these factors, I have made the decision to add this particular restaurant to my list of places that I will not be returning to. However, I won't go as far as to say that I do not recommend it, as the omelette was truly enjoyable. But for me personally, it's not a place I will be revisiting in the future. With a score of 18.5 out of 25 stars, I give this restaurant a C.

Last summer was my first visit after seeing some friends recommend and following them on social media. We had their longboard wings, veggie wrap and jerk chicken wrap. Everything was DELICIOUS! On Wednesday of this week I stopped in for lunch with my dog and we sat on the 'boardwalk' which is what they call part of their outdoor section. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. They offer a water bowl and a complimentary piece of bacon for the pups. My dog was thrilled as you can see by one of the pics =) On this visit I tried the wrinkled green been app and the St. Croix chopped salad. Both were very good. My dog ordered the kids burger plain with no bun. He had no complaints! I stole his fries which were yummy. Luke was our server on my most recent visit. He provided excellent service! He even helped me gain some more insight on bringing a large party there later this year. He got me in touch with one of the managers and I am currently coordinating with them. Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in OC and can't wait to come back in a couple months!

I got the fresh fish and it was just ok. It needed more of a sauce rather than mango salsa. My husband got 2 pounds of wings as his dinner and loved every minute of it. The addiction wings are award winning for a reason. I did not order some of my favorites tonight, but are worth mentioning. The franchos, wrinkly green beans, and any of the wings. I often just order the franchos and wings to split with my husband as our entire meal. There is also great indoor and outdoor seating options. When they expanded and put the bar on a different side, it opened the restaurant up a lot and made it so much more enjoyable. Very kid friendly with good kids meals. Nothing fancy like some places try to do. They stick to kraft Mac n cheese and white bread. Your kids will be happy too.

We saw some good ratings and gave this place a shot and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who helped us make the right selection. As my wife was fasting, she went with a small fruit bowl, my son chose shortstack pancakes, and I tried the veggie hash. The fruit bowl was decorated well and had plenty of variety. From blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelons, apples, bananas, and others, all the fruits were fresh and perfectly ripe. The pancakes were very large and just one would have been more than enough for two people it seems but they even added berries for my son on them. The veggie hash had lots of potential. It was cooked well, however, lacked seasoning. It seemed slightly bland and I had to utilize ketchup to give it some identity. However, the quality and variety of veggies inside was great. Overall, I am giving four stars due to the fact that the prices are high, but the service and quality are worth it; especially for such a close location to the boardwalk.
