I left All Smog fully intending to write a 5 star review. I have been there before and have been very happy with the service and the employees. However, after leaving today I was looking over my paperwork and noticed a $2 "non cash fee" added on my credit card receipt. Had I been told of this fee I would have paid cash. I know that it is legal to give a discount for cash, but I believe it is illegal in California to charge extra to use a credit card (I could be wrong about this, I am looking into it on the Ca.gov website). I am attaching photos of the estimate given to me and a photo of the charge on my credit card receipt. Things like this make me angry. I feel accepting credit cards and their fees is a cost of running a business and should not be passed onto a customer who chose your business over the many other establishments they could have given their business to. read more

!!!DO NOT GO TO THIS SMOG STATION!!! We took our 2019 Sprinter Van to All Smog to get our emissions test. The technician told us it will be 90.00 due to it being a larger diesel vehicle. We said okay we have to do it. He performed the test and came to tell us that we failed because the OBDII Monitors are not ready and that we still needed to pay for the test and that we would have to pay for the test again after we try to go through the drive cycle. I then drove to another smog station and they said they perform a test prior to running the emission test for free. I would highly recommend going somewhere else and read through all of the reviews. read more

Honestly, the best experience- it was seamless. Got in, waited a little (5 minutes) as there was someone getting the smog done right before me and then Modesto helped me out. It went quickly. Friendly, convenient, and fast!!! I called ahead of time and was told just to bring my car in SMOG should only take 10 minutes. I had my 2 year old daughter with me, I was about to take her out, but I was told just to back my car up in to their garage. He told me I could sit in the car with my daughter while he did the SMOG check if I didn't want the hassle of taking her out and then putting her back in. So nice and convenient!!! This is a Star Certified smog station, get your coupon online for 29.99$ + 10$ certificate. They will charge a small fee if you used credit card. To me, service was just OK due to the fact that I had to back up my car to the smog station myself. Most other smog stations they'd do it for me.
