I also should have known better when I went to go in the one entrance and it was closed off and I had to walk to the other side to enter the store. I came in here to have a look at furniture. I'm in need of a new couch and I knew I could at least come here and not be hassled while I checked out displays to see that might be available. Doesn't necessarily mean I am going to get something on the spot, but at least I can see what styles are out there and go from there. I did actually see something that caught my eye and I kind of wanted to get, but the store was lacking associates to help me as they were both running the registers. When I noticed that was the case, I just made a mental note to check it out online and see if I could find it elsewhere or set myself up with a time to go to another location to look at it and be able to ask questions. Even though I struck out with the furniture section I ended up doing a once around the store to see what they had to offer. Big Lots always give me some anxiety when I visit one, because no two stores are exactly alike. It's kind of a scavenger hunt or treasure hunt. When I did make it to the registers the two ladies working were as quick as they could be and very pleasant to deal with. They greeted everyone and chatted with each customer. Even me, who hates to talk to random people.

The store's selection varies from week to week so if you see something during your visit, you need to get it at that time because it may not be there when you return. The staff are pleasant and willing to assist. I always come away with great finds during my visits. All in all, Ollie's is a great store to visit, peruse, and pick up a variety of items.

Oftentimes with beverages you see at high-end specialty stores for 30% more than a grocery outlet. And I generally also use it to stop in to see if there are things on sale that I can use. Produce, Meat and beverages were not outlet prices. I did find a dozen eggs for .99 so that was good. I go shopping 3 times a week at many different stores so I know prices. Amazon Fresh was the best but they closed because they lost money. Lidl's and Aldi's are the best all around , Harris Teeter is good when they have sales and International markets sell older produce for a $1 a bag!

When I think of a comparator I think of mix of H&M and Forever 21, but better quality. The pricing for the basic, no print clothing is pretty good. The clothing is comfortable and great for lounging. They do have a selection of printed tees, but none were catching my eye. I may have to make another run here to grab more items to fill out my closet.

We had a great experience here recently in the clothing and electronics departments…read more It was pretty late in the evening, and the mister decides that he "needed" to buy and pick up a raspberry pi that day, which was only available at this target location. He called and was able to have it set aside. Once we arrived, the guy in electronics was very friendly and we got we went for... ...until I came across the women's clothing section and wanted to try on a blouse I saw on a mannequin. The lady in the area was super friendly and said I shouldn't hesitate to try something on (apparently, others have said the fitting room was closed even though it doesn't until the store closes). I tried on a couple sizes, but they didn't have my size on the rack. She was very helpful and checked to see if it was in stock at the store. I mentioned that it would be funny if it was on the mannequin, which it was! She was so sweet to take off the one on the mannequin and I was able to buy my blouse. :)
