Gabe's has a little bit of everything. Including scrubs if you're into Healthcare. One of my favorite stores now with excellent prices. Don't forget to join the awards club. I also should have known better when I went to go in the one entrance and it was closed off and I had to walk to the other side to enter the store. I came in here to have a look at furniture. I'm in need of a new couch and I knew I could at least come here and not be hassled while I checked out displays to see that might be available. Doesn't necessarily mean I am going to get something on the spot, but at least I can see what styles are out there and go from there. I did actually see something that caught my eye and I kind of wanted to get, but the store was lacking associates to help me as they were both running the registers. When I noticed that was the case, I just made a mental note to check it out online and see if I could find it elsewhere or set myself up with a time to go to another location to look at it and be able to ask questions. Even though I struck out with the furniture section I ended up doing a once around the store to see what they had to offer. Big Lots always give me some anxiety when I visit one, because no two stores are exactly alike. It's kind of a scavenger hunt or treasure hunt. When I did make it to the registers the two ladies working were as quick as they could be and very pleasant to deal with. They greeted everyone and chatted with each customer. He called and was able to have it set aside. The lady in the area was super friendly and said I shouldn't hesitate to try something on (apparently, others have said the fitting room was closed even though it doesn't until the store closes). I tried on a couple sizes, but they didn't have my size on the rack. She was very helpful and checked to see if it was in stock at the store. I mentioned that it would be funny if it was on the mannequin, which it was! She was so sweet to take off the one on the mannequin and I was able to buy my blouse. :)

After 2 weeks, my husband popped up at the store to ask what's going on with our appointment. When the tech finally came, he was rude, unwilling to listen to our concerns and eager to leave. We even heard him complaining about us in Spanish on the phone. He told us the leak is because "the ice box is not closed properly." My husband said, "NO! you need to take a better look!" and he grudgingly pulled the back to find the valve was broken. He ordered the part and came back a week later to install. After that, the fridge was STILL leaking. I called, left text messages and sent pictures of the leaks with No response from the tech. Not to mention, the water always had a funny taste. They told us to get a new filter and still after 3 filter changes, the water never tasted right. After multiple failed attempts for contact, I reached out to an appliance repair company. As soon as the tech looked at the fridge, he knew right away this entire unit was trash. It looked pretty from the outside, but once he pulled all the drawers out, he showed me how every component was rusted over from inside all the way to the back. When he shined his flashlight through the inside of the ice box and water dispenser, there was MOLD all throughout. To think my family and kids were drinking this MOLDY WATER for several months is absolutely frightening! Please educated yourself. There's a reason why they are selling this refurbished equipment for so cheap. This company is dishonest! Save yourself the time and money and go buy brand new where you can get a warranty from the manufacturer and reputable organization that you purchase from.

I order my groceries from Amazon so naturally, I wanted to checkout the store. Let me tell you, technology is amazing! The cart is a scale! Well, you do have the option to use a 'normal' cart or the computerized cart if you're a Prime member. But yeah, the cart asks you to add your bags first so it can take that weight into consideration. Then, as you add items such as fruits or veggies that require a weight to determine cost, the cart does it all for you. And, it's accurate. crazy! What's also pretty cool is the cart knows where you are in the store. As you shop the screen brings up items from the aisle you're in. Just scan the item, place it in your cart, and keep on shopping. If you attempt to remove something from your cart, it KNOWS! It's ack you if & what you removed. Also, there's several 'Last Call' sections throughout the store where items are reduced. I got some beef from the Last Call meat section. Unlike some grocery stores where meat is on clearance, this beef looked fresh! Reduced from $23 to $14. Perfect for beef stew as the weather gets colder. Then, when you're done shopping you just ride out through the dash cart lane and you're done! I love it. The store was very clean! And of course there were several shoppers preparing groceries for those who order on-line (like myself). I've always noticed the prices ARE better at Amazon, which is why I shop there. I can usually find whatever it is I'm looking for and more. If you haven't given it a try, check it out.

There was plenty of parking on the lot. Upon entering the store, you can choose a traditional grocery cart or you can use the Dash cart if you are a Amazon Prime member and electronically input your information in the display located on the handle of the cart, put your items in the cart, and they will automatically scan the item and the price displayed on the screen on the cart. The ambiance was as any other grocery store. The staff were pleasant and ready to assist. If you are a Prime member, make sure you scan any QR codes for discounts located at the customer service counter. I usually come here only to return items to Amazon, but was told I need to check the store out. I came and perused the store and yes, there were items that were priced 30-50% lower than traditional grocery stores. They have a bakery, deli counter with hot pizza available for takeout. They have the traditional areas of a grocery store: produce, meat, frozen food, seafood, aisles of canned, dry, personal care and home/ laundry. They even have the Amazon brand of a variety of items comparable to grocery chain's in-house brands. They have self- checkout options as well. All in all, a nice option to your traditional grocery store.
