For a while, under what I believe was old management or ownership, it definitely slipped in quality. However, the last two visits have been very pleasant. The interior is much brighter and crisper with better air circulation (A/C). The food was quite good, though we have only tried the sushi and some fresh appetizers again so far. But they do not offer fresh produce, ducks eggs, meats, etc. They are often out-of-stock (OOS) and remain that way because they only travel to Charleston about once a month. Their OOS issues multiply when their supplier is also OOS. So, the family is amiable but the selection is often 'hit-or-miss'! So, call before you travel to Beaufort.
