Second trip and it was delicious. We had the hibachi and was surprised how good it was. My wife had the chicken and shrimp and it was the most tender chicken she had ever had. I had the steak and shrimp, it was equally great. The service was great. Server was upbeat and attentive. She was running the bar and a few tables, but kept up with everything we needed. SOOOO at first hearing the name I was skeptical, but after reading the other reviews, we had to try it out. the food was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and I would recommend it JUST for that!!!!! Unfortunately I wish I could say the same about the staff.... The restaurant was not really busy at all, but our waitress was not attentive at all, when we first arrived she took our drink order it took about 10 minutes to get 3 sweet teas, we received our appetizers and our drinks were about gone and she did not ask if we wanted refills, we received our meals and by this time drinks had been gone still no refills, I had to stop her and ask for refills. At the same time there was another table the young lady was taking care of that was full of customers of her age that had no issues. But once again the food was great!!! read more

The menu mix is odd but it works most of the time. We've done both carry out and dine in. Really recommend eating there. The pizza can be slow to come out to the table on a weekend. No surprise, though. Our family likes that something is available for everyone. The bar with the day's sports on makes it more lively. Not obnoxious lively, but more of a community participation experience. The servers have always been nice and they work hard to balance the timing on the different cuisines. Unfortunately we have seen some customers being pretty bratty to the waitstaff, particularly visitors to the area. read more

Tried Ryan's for first time with wife and kids, at the recommendation of a friend. Place was pretty crowded, bar was almost full. We were immediately seated ( no reservation) , hostess very pleasant. We were waited on immediately, service was excellent ( Katie our server was awesome) drink order appetizer order sent . Drinks came out and in no time apps . Katie was on point though out or dinner - not pressuring- appropriately attentive is how I would describe it !! The dinners ranged from calzone ( meat lovers) to chicken and steak with noodles , shrimp and veggies- all the dishes were perfectly cooked!!! Random find! We were craving some pizza and Ryan's did not disappoint. We ordered a pineapple, onion, jalapeños, honey drizzle large pizza and it was awesome! A large was the perfect size for us! Three decent sized slices for each of us. Add in a couple great craft beers on tap and it was over the top excellent. We sat at the bar and experience a very nice, personable local that we had a great time just chatting about the area. Lots of locals on a Sunday afternoon, totally laid back vibe......This is on our must go back list for sure. PRO TIP HINT - not overly expensive! read more

I was a little skeptical about this place since pizza and hibachi are completely different. I thought it was a weird concept, and it still might be. But the pizza was pretty good! I was pleasantly surprised. The cheese was super melty and delicious. The pizza had the perfect amount of sauce. The crust could've been a little more crispier. But it was perfect for being reheated the next day. I will be ordering pizza from here again. And I will also be trying other foods. I got take out and it was very quick. The staff was also friendly. We decided to visit Ryan's and eat at the restaurant to see if the food was better than our first and only take-out order. We are happy we gave them another chance. The Stromboli we ordered and split was very good. It was chock full of pepperoni, green pepper, onion and cheese. There was a good balance between filling and crust and the serving was ample for two lighter eaters. I thought they may sell slices for lunch but instead they offer personal sized pizzas. On our next visit we decided to each get one. The pies were just OK. The toppings weren't really integrated with the pizza. Seemed like a cheese pizza was par baked and then toppings were added. My sliced onions were completely raw, the mushrooms as well. With the personal size, the dough seem to overwhelm the regular ingredients. At each visit, I noticed that the hibachi offerings seemed to be the most popular among the clientele, so I made it a point to try that during our next go round and I am glad I did. Our first experience ordering this meal was not worth a further mention, but coming out fresh from the kitchen, my shrimp and fried rice meal was very satisfying. The fried rice was still pretty bland, but when mixed with the sauce and the veggies, it proved to be a worthy companion. The shrimp were first rate, both in the fried appetizer and in the hibachi. You could tell they were exceptionally fresh, decently sized, and well executed. The vegetables within the dish all had remarkably good flavor because they were sautéed and seasoned unlike the toppings for the pizza. During our last lunch there, I ordered the same dish with extra mushrooms. Definitely a thumbs up. The teriyaki style sauce was a bit sweet and the ingredients well sauced so there was no need to pour the side serving of the "yummy" dressing on my plate. My husband decided to sample the new house made crab rangoon. He was happy he chose this appetizer, and unlike many Asian take-out places, these crunchy light pillows actually had crab in it and you could actually taste it. For a strip mall setting, the atmosphere is very pleasant. We always eat at the bar, and the servers are all exceptionally sweet and attentive. So far, every dish they suggested and we tried, we liked. We are glad we gave Ryan's a second chance. I'll keep going to the Old School Pizzeria when craving a slice, but still come here when I am looking for alternatives to pies. read more

I'm regretfully writing this as we've tried to hard to enjoy this restaurant. The pizza is the best around and the closest I've had to authentic NY pizza I've had in a very long time. The lasagna is excellent as well. The problem is with some of the wait staff/bartenders. On all 5 occasions we've had the same issue. My wife will order a glass of Chardonnay, and they will bring out something that clearly isn't. When we point this out instead of correcting their error they become argumentative and on one occasion tried to justify their mistake/ignorance by making a scene and thoroughly embarrassing us. On another visit we were with several neighbors and had a similar experience when they again brought out the wrong wine which was confirmed by someone else in our party. It seems whomever is pouring doesn't know the difference between a Sauvignon Blanc and a Chardonnay. We can understand an honest mistake, but their reaction to having it pointed out was rude and uncalled for. So go for the food and get a beer instead. Hopefully they will educate their staff and give them some additional training on wines and customer service. read more

We have been going to the original Ryan's for 4 years and decided to try the new location. As always they had a few kinks to work out the first few weeks but you can't beat the food. I was very shocked when the pizza was so good!! The garlic breadsticks were super fresh and made with the pizza dough. Loved how light they were! We got a large New Yorker with double pep and cheese.
