I had to go to an urgent care yesterday morning and this was the only one nearby open. I checked in…read moreonline prior to arriving and got there about 8:10am. It was empty when I arrived and the place looked very clean. After filling out the paperwork, I was taken in the back right away. The nurse who saw me first was very polite and professional. Shortly after the doctor saw me and did a few quick checks and discussed my symptoms with me. He explained what was going on, what he was prescribing me, and gave me opportunities to ask questions. I was really pleased with the whole process and efficiency of the staff and I am already feeling better with the medications I was given! I will definitely come back here if I need to go to an urgent care again. I also want to add that they called me today to check on me (I was in class and did not get the message until later - did not bother to call back since they said to call if I needed anything). Staff was very nice. Only 3 people should be in the lobby at a time. We were there a little longer than anticipated but they were trying to be efficient with getting everything they needed. They said there were 7 people ahead of me and it would be about an hour and a half wait. I was wheezing, lethargic, running fever and felt like I could not stand up. This must have put the receptionist off because she was very cold and rude, though I witnessed her being sweet as can be to the woman in front of me. I called the call center after a few hours and they said there were six people in front of me. I started to wonder if the receptionist was dropping my name on the list, for what reason, I'll never know. After 3 hours I called and explained that I thought my name was being dropped down the list (there were 5 people in-front of me at this point). The call center connected me with my receptionist friend and she said there was only 1 person in-front of me now. Wow, how did that happen? I arrived at 2pm and did not make it to the back until 5pm and I was done around 7. It was a long day that I wished I was in bed, but I'm glad I went. Once I left the reception area, each person was nicer than the next. They gave me a breathing treatment, antibiotics for bronchitis that lasted 3 weeks, and an inhaler to get me through the wheezing. It was a pain getting there, dealing with a rude receptionist and waiting when I felt so awful, but in the end the doctor and staff in the back were wonderful.
