My breakfast tasted like it was left over from two or three days ago, the meat tasted like it was old and just shy of being burnt and spoiled. . My wife's House Special was just shy of being burnt and almost not eatable. I remember going to Brownies Restaurant with my father in law in the 1990's and we always received a great meal. Our meals seemed not to be the same quality as before. The waitress was extremely nice and very friendly and attentive to us, kept the coffee cups full .

Wait staff seem a bit confused, overtly double checking each others customers and their own... the constant interruptions can be annoying. Perhaps merely attending to the removal of waste and empty plates and refilling beverages would be better use of their time.

They make some ahead instead of cooking as they go and keeping the fries hot and fresh. Ridiculous. Fries are not good cold. We explained that to the server. She must be instructed to get the manager because she said she would get the manager. Not good. They took it off the bill. Big deal since they took it back. The Manager argues that it was not cold. He didn't feel it or taste it but made the final determination that they were hot. He was rude and condescending and not helpful at all. He brought back out a chowder that wasn't hot again and probably the same cold French fries. He didn't address our problem at all. After he left, as woman who lives at the park came by the table and said that this happens a lot and that she worked for many years managing a big restaurant that he needs to learn customer service. My meal had a bright spot. The Chicken fried steak was excellent but my potatoes were barely warm, too. The asparagus was good, too! The manager brought out potatoes again but they were the same as before. I don't think the manager understands that when a customer is so disappointed with a food that they return it, when it comes back out, it must be fixed big time. In this case, piping hot. Ridiculous, to send out the same bad food. I think the manager believes that the customers are a captured audience-that they will eat there because they live there. That is disrespectful to those that pay to live there. There are many complaints, so hopefully the owner will rectify this situation soon.
