Been there a couple of times now, I'm a new donor as of right now (see photo I attached about money you get as a donor.) I used to donate back when I was getting my bachelors degree, it was at a CSL Plasma center, of a different location than Omaha. These guys were much more thorough as far as check ups and making sure your plasma is up to their standards. However, I cannot speak for the CSL plasma center in Omaha, as I've never been there. Octo explained the process very well and what to expect very thoroughly. It actually has made the process more enjoyable, even though they poke you twice every time you're there. I typically go around 3pm on the days I do go, no complaints of the employees or the customers. UPDATE: Been going a year off and on, has been a overall great experience, highly recommend. See updated photo. UPDATE: They have quit giving out saline during donations. This in particular is a big deal for me, I don't NEED it necessarily but it definitely helps the whole process. I had to wait 2 hours just before getting poked because of how understaffed this area is. I sat in a chair to get poked for 83 minuets while the employees were "restocking" they make eye contact with you and then pretend you're not there. It's honestly sad, customers getting irritated like myself that we have to wait 2 hours just to wait another hour while your poked. 3 hours for $35? $11.66 an hour. Severely understaffed. The entire procedure from the time to get there until the time you leave should take about 1 hour, instead, you're lucky to get out in 2. At $25 for the first time of the week, this works out to less than minimum wage. read more

I've been donating here for a while. I've also donated at several other places over the years. My experience here has been by far the best. The staff is very friendly and courteous. My only complaint is that they are frequently under staffed which results in it taking a longer time to get in and out. Overall, I highly recommend donating here if you need some easy money. read more

I wish I could give this center no stars. It is unbelievable how ungrateful and disrespectful the staff is to the donors who are the ONLY reason they are able to have a job. There is not one ounce of hustle from anyone - whether they are short staffed, busy, or not. They have ZERO respect for the time and effort that donors put in and do not make any effort to make it worth your while to come here. I have at times waited over 3 hours just to have the needle put in my arm. Ever since their current manager, Josh, has been in this position it has gone ridiculously downhill. Beware! You can be compensated the same elsewhere and have your time treated with a modicum of dignity. Do not waste your time here. You will not feel appreciated or respected in the slightest. read more

Great Staff! Fast easy way to make extra cash! $$$$

CSL is great for some quick cash. If you make it at the right times its super quick. I've never been there over 2 hours. They keep stuff super clean. Only take away is they have the most unprofessional, "sassy" staff; worth a laugh if you listen close enough. I'll be going till money isn't as tight. It's a great cause knowing you're saving a life in the mean time. Take some headphones and eat right the day before and of. Although it's not for everyone, especially those with weak immune systems. read more
