A small bread and pastry shop that is Latino owned and run has been serving the Latino community for years. We are not Latino but we love going here for the pastries. Prices are very reasonable and the pastries are always delicious. Some are sweeter than others but in my opinion they each delicious in their own right. They are a cash only business so keep that in mind. Sometimes the cashier can only speak Spanish but they get their message across either by writing down the amount you owe or by just taking what currency you have out and giving you the change. They are always friendly!!!

Wow, this was such a nice surprise to find after getting sandwiches next door at Lil Papis. The smell of fresh baked goods hits you right when you walk in, it's seriously like a oven inside, so warm! My clothes had a lingering cinnamon and bread smell after I left. They had tons of baked goods in their display cases and fresh hot baked goods on sheet pan racks. The fresh goods literally just came out of the oven. There's a stack of pizza pans and plenty of serving tongs in the corner to pick the products you want. I tried some of the plain breads, sweet breads, croissant, and a type of dense bread pudding with raisins. The breads were so soft and tasted fresh. They still tasted good a few days old. One of the breads had a hint of coconut extract flavor. They had other bread products filled with bavarian cream, which I sadly did not try. I wasn't a big fan of the peach cake. It was very wet, like a tres leche texture. Canned peaches were used, not fresh so no issues with quality there, as some other reviews mentioned. But maybe they make other cakes with fresh fruit as well. Other cake options they had that day where mocha, strawberry, and I think chocolate chip. Cash only! Shouldn't cost too much, because each of the baked goods was $1 each and the cakes are $2.50 each. So cheap!

Fast service, not a dine in. This is a grab and go bakery. Cakes looked really good.

So dissatisfied with the cake I purchased today. The fruit was bad and the customer service experience was awful.

On a Thursday afternoon this past July, we stopped at the Nature's Own Bakery Outlet in Concord to…read morestock up on some bread and other items. We are not from the area, but on a previous visit stumbled upon this quaint store and made sure to return this trip. The store is located just off of 85, right between Concord and Kannapolis. The building is marked with signage, and there is a pole sign out front as well. Plenty of private parking both in front and in the rear of the entrance. At the time of our visit, we were the only patrons there, so it was not crowded at all. Since this is a bakery outlet store, the selection will vary. However, each time we have visited, there has always been a selection of bread, buns, bagels, and other breakfast breads. Most of the bread is from Nature's Own, Wonder, and Dave's Killer brands. There are also a variety of snack cakes and sweets from Mrs. Freshley's, Utz potato chips, and an entire section of non-perishable grocery. Though I assume most shoppers visit here for the bread and snack cakes, there are other items to purchase as well. Something neat about visiting here is that they have varieties and flavors of items I had personally never seen before. So, it is also a great way to try something new for a fraction of market pricing. There was an older gentleman working when we visited, and he was very kind and personable. He provided great service, and also engaged in meaningful conversation with us. We had never had a bad experience with the employees at this store. We ended up getting so many good items on our visit! The best part was the price - our total was around $20. We got 4 packages of Dave's Killer Bagels, 1 package of Dave's Killer English Muffins, 2 packages of Nature's Own Brioche Style Sandwich Buns, Nature's Own Hawaiian Sandwich Bread, and a few other items. Specifically, we visited here to stock up our freezer. What we bought would have easily retailed for $50, possibly more. All of the items were of great quality, and lasted us for a few months following the visit. You simply cannot beat the deals at this store. All of the loaves of bread were between $1.00 and $1.75. The buns were all between $1.50 and $1.75. The bagels and other breakfast breads were $2.00. Snack cakes, donuts, and other items such as were all under $2.00. The grocery items otherwise were likely around market price, but specifically the items that Nature's Own manufactures are the best deal going. I would highly recommend stopping at this store if you find yourself in the Concord/Kannapolis area at any point. You can fill up your freezer with name-brand bread for relatively inexpensive just by stopping here. I so wish we had one of these stores where we live, as I would be a frequent customer. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back and stocking up until our next visit!
