I am not a huge chain delivery pizza person. Before Odd Moe's Mod Pizza was trying the only pizza I would eat. This as obviously changed. The pizzas we have got there have been amazing. I do not think they are grease or super heavy like Dominos or Pizza hut can be. The toppings seemed fresh. Odd Moe's recently opened where Ye Old Pizza Shoppe used to be. I was interested in seeing what kind of changes happened to the actual space. The long tables are still the option for eating in. Besides that they have really lightened up the place and made it more inviting. The counter where you order is on your left as you enter and three or four big screen tvs are above the seating on your right. It was rather hectic in there at 6pm on a Friday (before one inch of snow too). I was a bit overwhelmed and could tell the staff was too but we ordered just fine and were taken care of. For being open a week or two there were limited flaws. Of course they were still figuring out timing and small stuff but it was ok. The pepsi fountain has flavor shots available (lemon, vanilla, cherry, strawberry) to add to your soda. Now for the pizza. We got our standard sausage, pepper, onion. We ordered a medium but apparently there was a deal and it was $3 less for a large so we happily upgraded. It came to around $15 for a large pizza which is better than most of the other sit down pizza places in town. We were really pleased with the cheesiness of the pizza. Of all the pizza places I feel this pizza had the best cheese to sauce ratio. I will definitely be back for that. We might also try some of their specialty pizzas. The barbecue chicken has a chipotle lime barbecue which looked interesting. While everything isn't running smoothly, my optimism that it will be soon and the yummy pizza made me go with 5 stars for Odd Moes. read more

I've been here twice. Both times it was a ghost town inside, but they seem to do a lot of deliveries. The pizza is good. The first time we got a pizza with veggie toppings. The vegetable toppings had clearly been added after baking, so they were still crisp and flavorful. That's attention to detail. What I'm most excited about is their Chicago-style deep dish pizza that I had on my second visit. It's the closest thing I've found to the real deal in the Portland area. First of all... This is NOT thick crust pizza. Second of all, it is BURNT and terrible tasting. When we called to complain the next day, we were denied any kind of service, discount or resolution. The gal that answered the phone was the same gal that prepared the pizza the night before. She said that it was thick crust, which it obviously IS NOT and she said they overcook the pizzas now because too many other customers complained about the pizza being too doughy. She was no help at all and refused to resolve the issue. Well, now I am posting a picture of your crappy example of a pizza for everyone in Newberg to see. Vegan pizza options are fab!! Normally we have to make our own scratch pizza to get excellent tasting vegan pizza but Odd Moe's will be our new go-to when we need a great pizza on a moments notice. We did a custom pizza and also got their 'The Natural Vegan'. Both were OH so good! and we had the leftovers cold today and equally was good as you would expect any cold pizza to be. We also were able to order beer which was an added huge plus. This place is a real lifesaver and I can't be more appreciative for them in our small neighborhood. I love Odd Moe's Pizza but I have a single complaint on the On-line ordering, They have a special of 2 pizzas, with 2 toppings each for $25. However when I placed my order it comes up at $28 dollars. So I called the restaurant and found out that if you order the white garlic sauce instead of the red sauce, it costs you $3 more. There is nothing stating that on the order page on line. I think they should either make a notation that if you want the white sauce it will cost you extra, or just give us 2 pizza with 2 items each for $25 period. I must say for pizza cooked on a conveyer belt I was impressed. I went to another pizza place amd walked out when I noticed they had a conveyer belt. I didn't see any brick over pizzerias in the area and was very disappointed and gave this place a chance not knowing if they also had a belt system. I guess this is the thing?? Great pizza - something previously missing in Newberg IMHO outside some higher end spots - and they deliver! We've ordered delivery several times and no mistakes, pizza arrives hot and has been delicious! My only complaint, and it's kind of a big one, is their online ordering system is from the early 1990s. What business in 2019 still uses FAXES to send their orders?! The system is also not consistent and resulted in several occasions when pizza didn't happen because it wouldn't send via FAX thru the online system AND we could not get thru via phone either. I can't imagine how much business has been lost due to this type of issue since they opened. I am a small business owner and there are so many easy options for web-based ordering and such, continuing to use such a cumbersome, antiquated system just seems lazy and short-sighted. read more

Honestly, if I could give this place a 0 star rating, I would. Normally I do not go into super long detail unless my experience was terrible, and mine was worse than terrible. This is going to be very long but I suggest that you read all the way until the end because I would be aware before ordering from this place ever again after the experience that I had. To start off, my friends and I were staying in an Airbnb in Newberg, OR. We decided to order pizza on Saturday the 12th and placed the delivery around 4:30pm for a 6:30pm delivery. Unfortunately I did not grab the delivery drivers name. At 6:50 pm I received a call from the delivery driver saying he was about 15 minutes out. He verified we had ordered the pizza and I clarified that we were renting out an airbnb and that we would need the pizza to be delivered to the lower level of the house. He immediately stated he "didn't want to sound rude" and then continued to say how "in the future we should not place the order for delivery because we are out of the delivery range". This confused me because the pizza shop was only 2.4 miles away from where we were staying. I apologized and explained again that we were not from here and that since the website let us place the order it seemed as if we were in range. Flash forward a little bit to 7:24pm, we call the delivery driver again to see where he is at. He then tells us that he mixed up the address and went to the city of Wilsonville!! The address was on Wilsonville Rd, Newberg OR...so when he called to tell us we were out of delivery range it was because he misunderstood the address. Once the pizza arrived, one of the girls in my trip went out and grabbed it. She came back and said that the delivery driver was super talkative and apologized about it being late and that he had asked why we were in the airbnb, she explained that we were doing a small get together for one of our friends getting engaged. I decided to let this all go. I understood that mistakes happen and it was whatever, as long as we got our pizza. Here is where everything got even worse and I still cannot comprehend how or why something like this can occur. It was now 11:28pm. I check my phone and I notice I have a missed call from a phone number that I did not recognize. I pull up my recent call log and discover that it is the pizza delivery drivers phone number. I realize that pocket dials are still a thing and thought it was just an accident. Nope. I then receive a text message at 11:29pm that states: "How was the bachelorette party? i would have loved to join if only I didn't have to work lol". So not only did he intentionally try to call me, he also texted me. I will attach the screenshot so you can see what our response was and then his quick response back. I have NEVER felt more uncomfortable in my entire life. It was a total breach of client-customer confidentiality. Why anyone would think this was even slightly okay is beyond me and it makes me think how many other times this might have happened. Someone ordering pizza from you is not an invitation to take their personal phone number and try and hit on them! Regardless on if this person apologized or not, it should have never happened in the first place. I am still completely shocked and honestly creeped out that this person now has my personal information and my phone number still. I hope that this post gets to who it needs to for there to be some sort of repercussions. I will NEVER order from here ever again and will definitely be sharing my story with others so they are aware of some of the things that happened. read more

Awesome service even when busy on a friday night. "Reggie" Pizza was the best veggie slice I have ever had and I don't normally like them (wife ordered). Loaded with toppings, sauce was perfect compliment and not too garlicky. Cheese combo held everything in place. Crust was done prefectly even for a pick up order. Horrible customer service, one day on a Friday night, they never answered their phone and then last week we ordered online, selected twice to have pizza delivered. We sat for an hour to pick up, apparently it defaulted for us to pick up. I called and explained the situation and the young girl could care less about our situation. Our pizza was horribly cold when we got it. Maybe check your website out and be a little more caring when your customers call. Because of those two situations, we will not be back. Abby's and Honey Pie knows how to treat their customers. Great addition to Newberg. Pizza is good (especially the red sauce), although we ask for it well done so it's less doughy. We also like the wings and potato poppers. This is kind of a hole-in-the-wall type pizza place located in a spot where you either 1)drive right by it or 2) don't expect anything good to come from it. The pizza is really good! Yes, I'm surprised. I ordered gluten free, expecting it to be unfortunate, but the crust was crispy and buttery. My husband ordered the regular crust and his too was very good. They serve beer, but I'm a wine drinker...and we're in wine country...so I was bummed they didn't have a wine selection.
