The woman running things was friendly and I didn't wait long for my pizza to be boxed up. The truck is cool and it's fun to support a local business. I got a Hawaiian slice, and it was pretty good. My only reason for knocking it down a star is because the price/quality/quantity combo seemed to be a bit off. It was 8.50 for the slice, which is a quarter of the size of their normal pizza. It felt a little more expensive than it should have been, or it needed to be a bigger slice. All in all though, I'll probably come back at some point to grab a whole pizza and check out a different kind.

The Margherita Pizza was just a cheese pizza with some tomatoes and pesto and looked nothing like some of the other delicious pizzas on the Furioso page (go ahead and compare). The charcuterie board only had 2 cheeses (when it should have had 3) and was pitiful and bare looking. It didn't have olives either (the menu indicated it did). We told the waiter and that was it, nobody from the food truck stopped to say anything or offer anything in addition. He said he told the chef and the chef updated the web site. WTF? That's the remedy? Just change the menu... great job, Wooden Heart. Even if you only had 2 cheeses due to supply shortages, bring more of another one to us. Something! At least walk over to our table and say something. I know it's not Furioso's fault, but one of the reasons I wanted to go to Furioso was the delicious looking food as well as the views. Furioso delivered on the views, but for service and food quality, both Furioso and Wooden Heart failed miserably.

We ordered pizza slices, a salad, breadsticks and drinks at the counter when we entered, then chose a table to wait for our food. All items we ordered needed to be warmed and the salad mixed. When about 20 minutes went by we asked about our order. We were told it should be next. Another 5-10 minutes went by when one of the servers noticed we were still waiting and checked on our order. When I explained that I paid with cash they apologized several times for the mistake and rushed to get our order done. Not much flavor at all unless they're covered in ranch. The pizza was just ok, not warmed nearly enough. My husband had his favorite, the salad with lots of the garlic dressings. Overall it wasn't a very good meal. The prices are on the high end of the pizza place spectrum and this visit didn't meet high end quality. My one saving grace was they had my favorite soda machine with flavor choices for each soda. Having one of those machines gets an extra star from me.
