Macaroni & Cheese from kids menu

Decided to give Pietro's another try, it had been a couple years since our last visit. This visit was so much better than the last time. The pizza was great, we ordered a large combination & a half BBQ chicken half Italian ( can't remember the name). Crispy crust and lots of toppings. I got the salad bar, it was really clean this time and had lots of different things to choose from. We also ordered the Mac & Cheese off the kids menu, she liked it. My kid had so much fun playing the games !!! My husband and I took pictures in the photo booth, that was fun. They had great service and we will definitely come back.

A local favorite for birthdays and special occasions, Pietro also goes out its way to honor the military. Stop by on Veterans Day and show your proof of service, and they'll set you up with a free personal size pizza, salad bar, and a fountain drink. It was nice to see so many vets happy to be recognized for their service to our country. Of course they still have their game room, laser tag and mini golf, but I tend to avoid chaos as much as possible these days. Their prices have gone up in the past few years, but you can find a coupon online and sign up for their birthday club for a free mini pizza yourself!

    Pizza. No.

Pizza, big no. Unless you like Willamette pizza, which consists of premade crusts covered with very little sauce and way too much chewy soft cheese. I understand our allegiance to childhood comfort food. But anyone who has been outside of OR has experienced real pizza. This is the pizza Bites version. Even Little Caesar's gets some five star reviews. You only know what you know. The wings were a solid four stars. Go for buffalo wings.

some of the games that they have to play and they have tickets. That you can also exchange for prizes later.

This was our first time at this Pietro's pizza location. I loved that it was similar but different. Always a good time here love the pizza love that they have games. The kids always have a blast.

Pietros is tried and true. Same great ingredients as back in the 70's. The indoor arcade is fun for the kiddos too!

The pizza was extremely good. Pricey but good. The restaurant was very dirty and loud. Due to this, I would only pick up and go.

Not what it used to be. I grew up on Pietro's and the only thing worth coming in for now is the taco pizza.

The pizza is pretty good but my god you have to take her out a second mortgage to buy one there. It is just way too expensive.

I usually order for delivery. They are fast and the pizza is good. They always include napkins, Parmesan & chili flakes.

Large parking lot and the front entrance had stairs which was weird to navigate your bowling ball bags. Looks like it has a fun arcade game room area for the kiddos. Full bar avail and snack bar. One never knows how events like this will go, especially on busy Saturday afternoons. But the manager and associates handled all of the logistics related to our birthday party with ease. At first glance, the bowling alley has a real old school vibe; almost everyone has stepped foot in a bowling alley like this before. The lockers, the benches for putting on shoes, the seat configuration around the lanes, the concessions, the signage... it all evokes a strong sense of nostalgia. But AMF has done a great job maintaining high standards when it comes to technology of the lanes, equipment, and arcade. Everything runs smoothly here. The staff were extremely helpful in setting up the seating area for my friend's party, including timing food delivery with our game play, helping with our cake, and managing cleanup when the time came. I think they even threw in a few extra guest cards for the arcade! Even though AMF Firebird Lanes is part of a large network of over 350 bowling alleys across the country, the management and staff at this location help create a strong sense of community. I don't bowl much, but if anyone ever asks me about party venues in Salem, I'll be sure to mention this place. Nice work, folks!

We rented two lanes for the time, one for the kids and one for the adults--eight of us in all. Unfortunately, the kids' lane wasn't working at all, and it turns out they wouldn't be able to fix it that night. As most of the lanes were rented out already, we thought we were going to just have to get a refund and have the kids bowl in our lane. Instead, in the midst of dealing with all of the other demands on their attention, they were able to shuffle things around, and relocate us to two other lanes that were next to each other. We had no other issues the rest of the night, and had a lovely time. The manager/owner and his crew could not have been more professional, kind, and even-keeled. They brainstormed a variety of solutions during the controlled chaos that was happening with the influx of customers all coming at the beginning of the event, and wanted to make sure our evening was rescued and fun. We all ended up having a blast, the food was good, and our night was indeed everything we had hoped it would be on a summer night trying to escape the heat. Highly recommend The Rec!

Then we had to wait 20 minutes just to get a lane even though there were plenty open. To top it all off I saw a mouse run right under the managers legs and he just brushed it off like it was nothing. We left after that and can guarantee that we will never be back.
