Greeted right when we walked in the door. They have a good selection of specialty pizza and local beer on tap. We had the Caesar salad a Margharita pizza and the Buckley. Both were great, but The Buckley stole the show. I've never had goat cheese in a pizza but it was a great addition. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town! read more

Went on a sunny afternoon, and this place was not busy. You order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Service was relaxed and friendly. The vibe was modern but comfortable. We decided on two personal pizzas: the Cowboy, that had a barbecue sauce base that was topped with cheese, bacon, sausages, Mama Lil's peppers, green peppers and finished with a drizzle of Buffalo sauce. The other pizza we got to share was the Northwestern, which had a garlic butter sauce base, cheese, Prosciutto, pear slices and was topped with Arugula and a Balsamic drizzle. They offer a lot of different kinds of pizzas, with a variety of sauces and unique combinations. We did a Caesar salad and a half order (6 pieces) of the wood fired wings with BBQ sauce and a side of ranch to round out our meal. We decided to sit on the roof, and it was easy to find a table with shade. It was quite pleasant up there. Our food was brought up quite quickly. The pizzas were great! The Cowboy had sweetness from the BBQ sauce, rich meatiness from all the meats, and some complementary heat from the Mama Lil's and the Buffalo sauce. The Northwestern also had a great balance of flavors, with sweet notes and rich notes balanced by the kick of the arugula and Balsamic. The crusts had that nice char and chew that you get from wood-fired pizzas. The salad was your basic Caesar but still good. The wings were awesome! Generously sized, they had a great, well-seasoned taste that went well with the sweet BBQ sauce, and the ranch was a nice touch. It was a great meal, and we even took half the pizza home and enjoyed it for dinner. This is probably the best wood-fried pizza I've had in Salem. read more

First time trying this place so we ordered a bit of everything - cheese sticks, two types of pizza (one red, one white), and buffalo wings. Everything was amazing! Like, really good. The pizza was absolutely delicious with ample toppings and great, fresh flavor. The wings were lightly sauced (perhaps just a little too lightly), juicy, plump, and cooked perfectly! Honestly, best wings I've had in Salem, which is a bit sad considering we have a few specialty wing places... these were better. We came here to try out their pizza. When we arrived we were the only guests around 1:15pm. We ordered half and half pizza. The waitress seemed to think it would be a probably to change base flavors on the pizza. It was not, changing the bases to all red sauce worked out fine. Our pizza arrived luke warm on the cold side. We told our waitress and she offered a freshly made pizza which I wish I had of taken her up on that offer. Right before we left she brought us a sugar boom apple pie pizza. I was completely bummed when I heard that their predecessor, Basil and Board, was closing as they were my favorite place to get pizza in town. I like a more artisan style pizza than most of our local pizza places offer so losing our favorite was just shy of devastating....enter Cascadia Pizza into the same space. The menu said it had red sauce, and I checked the box for red sauce. The pizza was not bad, but I love red sauce and there was none. I don't know what happened. Maybe the ordering app had an issue.
