My husband and I have been here for dinner a couple of times, and now we can also add breakfast to our good experiences. Auburn has horribly few good places for breakfast, and while the Sunbreak Cafe is always a winner, sometimes I'm not in the mood to stand in line for a table, so I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that OddFellas serves breakfast also. Husband had the chicken fried pork, and I had french toast and bacon. The chicken friend pork was crunchy on the outside and nice and tender inside. The french toast wasn't exceptional in any way, but I didn't have to cook it myself and it wasn't soggy for anything bad like that. Perfectly good french toast for the price, and the bacon on the side, was thick and crisp. Great sized booths, so definitely a good place for happy hour with friends! Like I said, there aren't many good restaurant options in Auburn, so anyone looking to support a good local place, I'd definitely encourage you to try OddFellas. read more

Staying here in auburn for work this week, terribly boring town yet this local pub is staying afloat. Had a few or more of their beers on tap and everything was amazing, ordered some food off the menu and it came out promptly within a few minutes perfectly fresh and delicious. The Cuban sandwich was as it should be and the beer battered fries were also amazing. The bartender and staff were all very friendly and I couldn't say anything bad about the whole experience. I love little Dives with yummy food and drink and a great atmosphere. This isn't really a dive, but the rest is on point. Our server Rach, is always the best! We have had a few other servers and they were good, but none have stacked up to her! She makes the good experience GREAT! We have been for breakfast and lunch and nothing disappoints. The dough boys (biscuits and gravy) are sooooooo good. The biscuits here are just amazing! They are crisp and flavorful on the outside and warm and soft inside. That is my go to breakfast there! We have also had the breakfast nachos, omelets, four skins, DBLTA wrap, coleslaw, schnitzel sandy, and naughty mash, (I'm sure I forgot a few things) but everything has been really good, hot and fresh! I have eaten and had beers at this establishment for years. Sadly it has gone down hill. Last night I wanted to impress friends by taking them here because they have never been before. The waitress was nice but only checked on us once . The food was horrible. I didn't want to complain because we were out with the friends so I called the next day to talk to a manager about the experience. Went to oddfellas yesterday for the first time. Holy moly! Best tater tot nachos I have ever had! The fish tacos were absolutely hands down the best I have ever had. Between the tots and the tacos - we didn't think that it could get better... Until we saw schnitzel!! It was probably 2013 when I first ate here, and it was love at first sight, smell, sound, it was a full blown sensory overload in the best possible way, the food was delicious, the menu was cheeky and clever. The atmosphere was fun, soccer was the primary sport highlighted, to be expected in an Irish style Pub, but sports of all sorts graced the screens in the restaurant. The servers were all great, attentive, and actually seemed like they enjoyed the job. The last couple years the atmosphere is the only thing that remains great, the food and service has been so inconsistent, maybe a lot of turnover? I don't know, I just miss how it once was, I truly hope they get back to where they were...the best in Auburn. read more

My wife and I cam for dinner. I am a huge fan of fish and chips so I ordered that. The fries were amazing! Not just the simple crinkle cut or shoestring or jojos. They tasted good and were fried to perfection. Unfortunately I can't say the same on the fish. The coating was thick and very heavy. Definitely more batter than fish. Tasted fine but I have had way better. My wife had the schnitzel. It had two huge pieces plus mashed potatoes and veggies. It tasted good but once again, the coating was thick and heavy. The biscuit tasted fine but it was savory. I think it had dill on it. But it came with some strawberry jam. So I was surprised at that. Wait staff was very nice. Decor was nice but dark. I had to hold the menu up to sunshine coming in through the window to be able to read it. We were seated in the middle of the room. Nice beer selection and at a good price. Would go back for happy hour and not order any fried food. read more

I am so surprised at how great this place is. The atmosphere is really warm and inviting and our server Ashley was very attentive and on top of things, even though it is a Saturday night. We came for a late dinner and both my husbands food and my own were better than expected. We started out with a appetizer called the Gato Plato. It was a meat and cheese plate with stone ground mustard, flat bread crisps and the most amazing little pickled peppers. Then we split a Pub Cobb that was literally piled high with all the fixings, totally would have been enough for one person as an entree. My husband got a Schnitzel plate (meat patties) with a side of bangers (English sausage) and the most delicious mashed potatoes I have had in a long time. My entree was somehow better, believe it or not, but only just. I ended up getting the Smoky Mac and Cheese and let me tell you, I am a Mac and Cheese aficionado and this was the bomb. SERIOUSLY, I would have paid three times what it actually cost me gladly to eat it again. So, to review, the atmosphere is great, the food is epic and the price is reasonable. This is officially my new favorite restaurant. Everyone in the thirty mile radius should come and try their dill bread and Mac at least once in their lives. Good place a little off the beaten path. Of course the locals know about this one, but we stopped in while driving for business...and are glad we did They have great lunch specials with wraps, sandwiches, mac n cheese, and burgers for less than $10. They have great salad options and the cheese biscuits will keep us coming back for more. Our veterans group had been going here for six years after we perform at the vets parade. never have we been treated so badly. the manager/cook doesnt like veterans and it was obvious. asking if we had reservations before we even told them how many. btw the place never even filled half way, and they would not put us together. as a combat vet and drummer in our pipeband, i speak for all of us. we will go elsewere from now on to somewhere that wants us. read more

Popped in here on our way home after a long hike. I wasn't sure if they were kid friendly or not, but gave them a call and yep!! They aren't really geared for kids, which is totally fine. Just a heads up for anyone like me who's wondering. Kid menu is on the regular menu, so no crayons or anything like that. I had the Cheesy Brit sandwhich with the naughty mash (aka mashed potatoes). I think I'll steal that term though. Service was super fast and my server was very attenetive and helpful when I had a hard time deciding what I might want. Went here for breakfast one Saturday. I thought it was good but nothing special. -The service and atmosphere is great. -Eggs Benedict were a little too buttery and the hash browns were a little under cooked. We have eaten and had drinks here a dozen or so times in the past 2 years, both at the bar and in the dining room. Service at the bar is great - the bartender and servers are very attentive, drinks are reasonably priced and well made. The food is really good, I have had the clam appetizer, which I crave on a regular basis, the mac and cheese is fabulous, the fish sandwich is really good, and my husband and kids really like the burgers and sandwiches, and they serve tots!. Breakfast is good here too, potatoes are crispy, eggs benedict was good and they allowed me to substitute tomatoes for the ham, which some restaurants make a big deal about - our only complaint with breakfast is that the biscuits are very small - when ordering biscuits and gravy, one expects a large biscuit, theirs did not make the cut. That said, I am giving them 4 stars because the service in the dining room is only mediocre. We have waited for long periods without even seeing our server on the 2 instances we ate in the dining area, for the breakfast trip, half of our food came out, and the rest was about 10 minutes behind. We had to ask a different server to bring out the biscuits, which were forgotten all together, and when we were ready for our check, it was another 10 minutes of waiting. It was the 1st trip to Odd Fellas for my mother in law, and she says she will not be back, which disappointed me, since we've had such positive experiences in the bar. I will continue to come to the bar area, but probably not the dining room. read more

I love this place!!! Lots of great food, TVs and great staff. Our family has had almost everything on the menu, and it is always good. The only thing this pub and eatery is missing is a WSU Cougar gear on the wall. They have UW, but nothing for the 2nd largest university in the state. We were meeting up with a larger party to watch the World Cup on the big screen. When we got to the restaurant the bench seating was full but there were many open tables in the area of the big screen. So instead of sitting with our back to the screen we scooted a table closer to our group so we had a surface to eat at and could watch the game. Our waitress took our coffee order then came back to tell us that we couldn't sit there. We had to sit at the bench area (keep in mind our backs would be to the screen or our group). We found a different open table in the same section and were told we couldn't sit there because it was a different servers section. So being a paying customer we were being told where to sit otherwise we wouldn't be served, even though there were open tables. read more

Impressive tap list, good food if you sticked to the breaded and fried items. My family stopped here while waiting out torrential rains before heading back to Seattle. It's a cozy joint that feels authentically authentic. The tap selection was remarkable, and the pub menu was full of standards between Irish/UK and German styles (perhaps because of Oktoberfest). My kid loved the smokey sausages in the mac and cheese. My burger was made exactly as I asked for it to be made, which was great, but I was disappointed the patty wasn't a bit thicker. My husbands schnitzel sandwich was impressive. They definitely have the fried thing down, and we loved our tater tots. I'll try here again when we're in Auburn. Came to OddFellows while my husband was having knee replacement surgery nearby. The atmosphere is homey. A little dark but nice. Kind of Game of Thrones-ish. Lots of dark wood. The waitress was very sweet. I had the macaroni and cheese, which she said was her favorite. It's pretty good. Elbow macaroni slathered in cheddar with mozzarella broiled on top like sugar on a creme brûlée. I tried the dill doughs, unfortunately named muffins that are really tasty. I got two. One is in my sweatshirt pocket to give to my husband after surgery. This is a 3.5 star place, but Yelp doesn't allow halves. Would I come again? Maybe not. Would I recommend it over hospital food? We used to hold our events there and they had a big banquet room upstairs which was too big us. The floors were noisy when you walked through the room so it interrupts our special speakers. The staff was very helpful but there just wasn't much you could do with the acoustical issues. We seem to have problems with technical issues almost every meeting. We have now moved to a smaller space in Renton. One of the best places in Auburn to have lunch though. read more

Quick service, a good lunchtime spot. I work close by to Oddfellas and this is a good place to grab a quick bite for lunch. I had the double bacon BLT with tater tots. That sandwich was just ok and kind of small, but that was balance by the giant amount of tater tots given. The service was good and friendly. My Suggestion: With not many places to go to in Auburn, this is probably your best bet. read more
