This place really impreses. Thinking I was heading into just an ordinary suburban pub food joint, I was astonished by some amazing food, spirits and service. First, the service. The young bartender had a deep knowledge of the menu and honestly steered me away from my item of choice to the barbecue pulled pork pepper jack sandwich. I assumed it would be a gooey icky mess. Far from it. It was sweet, neat and very tasty. A rare and unexpected find. And I was really suprised to find that not only did they have some nice single malts but some rarely seen Balvenie, at least for a pub. All Balvenies are not the same. They had non-standard 12, 14 and 15 year old Balvenie, including a 14 year old Carribean Cask. Nice work. read more

The food was great, the service was blah. Our server was Erin, I've been in the restaurant business for years as a server and a manager. She took our order, didn't check on us once during our meal and dropped the check off when I was only half way through my meal. I personally don't like feeling like I'm being rushed out the door, especially since they were pretty slow at the time. I also don't feel like we should have to ask for refills on our water when our glasses were clearly empty....we won't be back. read more

Like many people we intended to eat first at the Sunbreak Café. The line there was huge. Almost out the door. We were hungry and spotted OddFellas and thought we'd give it a try. I've lived in the area for almost 8 years and I didn't even know OddFellas was a place. First time in and it was for breakfast. No one to greet me next to the "Wait to be seated" sign. Stood there a minute, nothing. Walked in a little, nothing. Started walking out and was passed by a waitress who asked if I needed something. They had about 4 tables occupied and 5 visible employees. Once we got seated our waitress was attentive and nice. Not sure what the reason for not being helped in the beginning was. My wife had "Patriot Toast" with sausage links. I had the biscuits and gravy with two eggs over easy on the side. My wife's toast was bland at best, Texas Toast basically though it was advertised as an egg bread. Syrup tasted like Sysco brand generic. Sausage gravy tasted like it was from a freshly opened can and on the cold side of warm. Biscuits were on the cold side of cold. The eggs were good. Coffee tasted like Sysco brand as well. You'd think with all the blends available here in the NW they would spend a little money on good coffee. I felt like I was in a restaurant you'd see on TV that is cutting corners in fresh quality products to save money for the lack of patronage. The food overall was worth one star and that was because I was hungry and it was edible. The decor and ambiance is what you'd expect from a sports bar. Nothing to write home about. But it was my first and last time eating there. Wouldn't recommend it for breakfast. Can't speak to the other meals of the day or beverages. At the end of the day, I wish I waited in line and spent my $25 for 2 two biscuits, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of French Toast, 2 sausages and 2 cups of coffee across the street at Sunbreak Café. Walked by here and thought it looked like a small bar. Came back and came in the next time and we were shocked how big the place is! We ate breakfast, great food, great prices, great beer selection and the staff was wonderful to boot! Can't ask for more than that. We will be back for sure. read more

Ive been here a couple of times and would go back again. The beer selection is good, but they seemed to be out of a lot of the beer that was supposed to be on tap. The food is good and the wait staff are always friendly. Its a good little bar downtown! read more

Got an EXTREMELY openly rude, bored waitress.My friend & i came to try the food and have a drink because of the positive reviews. Big mistake. They have no well/mixed drink menu.There was a surprisingly large crowd of very drunk men yelling loudly at the bar. This was on a weeknight with no game playing. My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday night, it had been over a year since we had been there and previous experiences had been just fine. Wow has the food and service changed. I ordered the mac-n-cheese, when it came I was told that the plate was really hot and to be cautious. That was the only thing that was hot, the meal was at best warm, the waitress offered to microwave it for me but if I wanted nuked food I would have stayed home. I ordered a salad in place of that thinking they could not screw that up and wouldn't take forever since my husband was almost done with his dinner. I should have just eaten at home, how do you screw up a salad?! The complimentary dilldoughs that they used to serve were not the same as they had been when they first opened. We had to ask for them and then they were burnt. Super disappointed since they were a good local eatery when they opened. Don't bother to go unless the only thing you are looking for is a beer. read more

I came here with a party of 12 on Father's Day and had a terrible experience. The next day I privately emailed the company on their website to tell them about my experience, it has been over 2 weeks and I still have yet to hear anything back from this business so I am now going to write a review about my experience so that everyone is aware of the terrible service we had. It was by far the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. Once our party was seated it took the waitress 20 minutes to even come acknowledge us and take our drive order and by that time we were ready to order our food. After giving our orders it took another 15 minutes to even get the drinks. From what we could see our waitress only had two tables and every time we asked for something it would take her at least 10 minutes to come back with the item. We were never given syrup or any butter for our pancakes and after we asked she came back to the table without them. Three of us had been out of our coffee for over 25 minutes and she kept forgetting to bring the pot over to refill. Once our food came most of it was cold from sitting up at the kitchen for awhile. I recommend that you do not waste your time going to this restaurant, I am especially disappointed in the management/ ownership of this business that they do not have the decency to respond back to customer reviews. As I told them in my private email my family and I run a small business and we greatly appreciate reviews and do whatever we can to improve our business/customer service if there was ever an issue. read more

I had to update my review after two subsequent visits. 1st of the 2 visits: One person in our party ordered a beer sampler. He chose his 4 beers but one of the beers wasn't available. So instead of asking if the customer wanted a different beer, the waitress/bar substituted it with a cider. Kind of strange since some people don't like ciders and when you're paying for the drink. 2nd of the 2 visits: Ordered a beer. After drinking about 1/2 of it, noticed there was dried on food stuck to the inside of the pint glass. Mentioned it to the waitress, just so they knew they had dirty glasses. I was told they would swap out the remaining 1/2 glass of beer with a fresh 1/2 glass but they couldn't give me a full glass since I had already consumed 1/2. That left a bad taste in my mouth (no pun intended). I wasn't asking for a free beer but the fact they mentioned the 1/2 glass thing was just sketchy customer service and kind of cheap. My experience during these two visits is why I won't go back. read more

I had been wanting to try OddFellas because I had always heard good things. I was finally able to go on Friday. The server was great but other than that, nothing good! I was there with friends going to have lunch. They brought some bread out that smelled really good. I went to grab a plate and it was completely disgusting. There was some dry crusty stuff that resembled garlic butter with moldy spots all over it. Gross out #1. I ordered the Cali Chick sandwich. When they brought it out, I couldn't wait to try it but thank god I was still working on my side salad that I had ordered instead of fries. Finally, I was getting ready to eat my sandwich. My friend stopped me because she saw something on my bun. Mold! After further inspection, we found several spots on their pretzel bun. Gross out #2. After asking for the manager, the server was very gracious and looked completely mortified when I showed her the bun. She offered to have another sandwich made but by this time I was no longer hungry. The manager, whose name I cannot remember came out to talk to me. All I can say is how unprofessional! He looked like he had not taken a shower and just rolled out of bed in his yellow Charlie Brown polo shirt. He came out like he was making a rap video. Bending down, swinging his arms and then proceeds to say, "What the hell? This has never happened before!" My friends can corroborate the encounter because they were not impressed by the interaction. Gross out #3. He asked if I would like to have another sandwich made and I politely told him no thank you because I did not want to take a chance of getting something that could potentially make me sick. I did not pay for anything. As my party was getting ready to leave he comes out and hands me a box with another Cali Chick and says, "Here you go. We made you another one anyways, we just used a different bun this time." Really? It goes to say, I will never eat at this restaurant again! read more
