I needed the heels redone on my good black patent dress shoes. These are slim high heels, nothing special and no damage to heels themselves. Stopped in and dropped off the pair. 20 min and $20 later they were done. Couldn't decide if it was expensive or not but the task was off my list. Then, I got home and noticed a good nick in the leather. Pretty darn confident the shoe wasn't nicked before the repair but what is a girl to do? I just shelled out $20! Somehow I always end up here when I make a trip to visit my family. The fixed a very expensive Cole Haan bag when the handle ripped off. I thought it was a goner, but they fixed it in a way that was undectable, and has never been a problem again - and I beat that bag to death. Also, when I come home in winter and I'm missing all the things you forget you need after living in CA, like leather protectant, and leather cleaner, etc., they have it. The shop is a little cluttered and messy, but it's a shoe repair place, so who cares, but I took one star off for that, not that it matters. read more

I took in two pairs of boots to have the heels replaced and paid $60 up front. One pair had a hollow heel that had punctured, and therefor needed new solid heels on. It took an entire week, and when retrieved, the boots with the hollow heels didn't have new heels but just a layer of rubber over the old heel. They were still un-wearable. The owner was very argumentative, and said I had mis-explained when I said the boots needed entirely new heels put on. Expensive, slow, and disappointing. read more

He re-souled two of them and replaced the bottom of the heels on all three. Not only did he do an awesome job but the Prada's had leather on the heels that were ripped and he fixed them at no extra cost. Odessa shoe repair in Natick did an amazing job in restoring my high end boots!!!! I asked him to replace the heel on my boots and to clean them up. The boots were ready when the owner said to come and pick them and they looked brand new. It is hard to find a good shoe repair shop that has an honest and friendly owner. Had soles replaced on expensive pair of men's shoes, but cobbler didn't really pay attention to how much leather he was tucking to the sole which rendered the shoes to tight to wear anymore. Would not use for anything but cheap repairs like heels. read more

I was leaving on a business trip on Saturday Wednesday when i was packing my clothes and shoes i discovered that my two pairs of dress shoes had holes in the sole. So I went to Odessa shoe repair on RT 9 in Natick when I came there i asked the guy if he could repair the soles and heels by Friday. Even though he had about 40 to 50 pairs of shoes that needed to be repaired he promised me he would have them done by Friday evening. When i came back on Friday to pick my shoes up sure enough they were finished. What a great job they did at a very reasonable price. And a quick turnaround made it better! I tipped the guy for the great job he did repairing my shoes. He also suggested buying shoe trees to put in my shoes to make them last longer. Avoid as a plague. The vendor is a really mean guy. The service is overpriced and non-dependable. I dropped off my shoes at 9 am. That was a very simple repair which usually takes no more than 15 min. But when I came at the end of the day to pick up my order the guy even did not start working on my order. No apologies were offered. I took my shoes in another shop in the area and had them instantly repaired for less than half of the price. read more
