I visited this establishment to celebrate my son's 7th birthday and instead experienced a serious failure in customer service, supervision, and judgment. I asked a staff member a simple question regarding a height restriction. The staff member refused to answer, as did the manager. Rather than clarifying policy or de-escalating, law enforcement was called without justification. This decision was inappropriate and caused unnecessary fear for my children, who have never interacted with police. When I requested to speak with an adult supervisor, I was informed that no adult leadership was present on site. All staff appeared to be minors or under 21, raising concerns about proper supervision and authority. I later contacted the General Manager, who was dismissive and stated the staff felt "afraid." There was no reasonable basis for fear; I was calmly requesting clarification of a posted policy. As a Black customer, the escalation of a routine inquiry to police involvement raises serious concerns about bias and unequal treatment. Due to the lack of trained leadership, failure to follow basic de-escalation practices, and inappropriate use of law enforcement in a children's environment, I do not recommend this establishment. read more

This review is only for the Amaze Experience My friend and I actually didn't know what to expect. I had read some so so reviews so I was a little bit nervous. Because this experience is quite costly. It's about $40 for adults. Not sure how much for children because this was a girl's night out plus $15 to park in advance. That being sad I absolutely had a spectacular time. Don't celebrate Christmas the holiday but I do enjoy the lights and the beautiful scenery. Odyssey fun Adventure Park covers quite an expansive amount of land and every inch of the outdoor was decorated and festive filled with opportunities to capture precious moments. Then you realize they filled the space magnificently and they even had a stage in a sensor where they did a show every two hours on the dot with a Christmas theme. I saw they were several areas to warmup the VIP area to the snack and goodies store and of course inside OFW. The food could definitely improve , especially for the price its expensive for your kids to have fun there. I think that should be a place only for birthdays. Odyssey fun world has definitely fell off from when I was a kid and visited back in the 2000's. Many would think that as time goes on a business would progress they're establishment however after visiting back in November of 2024 for my child's birthday and then again today for just a fun day with my daughter, all of the games are so outdated and more than half of the games either don't work at all after scanning your card or they don't give you the correct amount of tickets that you actually won from playing the games. I hope Odyssey Fun World makes some serious updates to both the games and the exploration adventure area needs to be remodeled as well. read more

Odyssey Fun World has been in the community for years. It's basically a bigger replica of Show BIZ (1980's) and Chucky Cheese. It's a kid and teenager friendly arcade. Yes its old looking, dusty, and outdated. I mean, kids play there so of course it's not going to be immaculate. The machines are older and were once a part of Show Biz. No the customer service isn't perfect, but it's a kid friendly place. Now for the next review.....I went to The Zombie Safari Hayride at Odyssey Fun World's Fun Farm back in 2014 and it was fun! The Tour guide was lively and engaging and there were more live zombies to shoot at. Unfortunately, I attended this activity on October 21 2017, and it was a complete bore. The line was short because it was still early in the Halloween season. The parking is in a parking lot made of gravel and that is free. The tour was about 10 minutes and there were a limited amount of live zombies to shoot at. Most of the zombies were simply targets. I truly believe that my paintball gun was broken because my pellets had a hard time coming out of the barrel. I honestly didn't have any fun. I can say that the Corn Maze was great! I had an awesome time wandering through there, but they definitely need some type of security in the fields. read more

Odyessy is a great place where your kids can go to have a great time! My kids especially love that there's a variety of things to do so they never run out of entertainment here! I love that its family friendly for all ages from toddlers to teenagers! Having 5 kids, it's tough finding a place where everyone can enjoy themselves but Odysessy definitely covers it all. The staff is always helpful and friendly, the deals are great and the food is delicious. I never leave reviews good or bad, but my experience at this place today was so horrible I had to warn other people. Walked in there was only one line open. I waited in line only for them to open a new line and tell me I was in the wrong line and had to move over to the new opened line. I was next in line and now everyone behind me was in front of me. I had already waited 15 minutes and it took another 40 until we reached the front of the line. When I spoke to the manager Clint about it he was super rude and basically told me I was wrong I should have stood in line where there was no employee to help me because at the end of the day it was the correct line. First time here. This is a poorly run, dispectful establishment. Came here to use the batting cages before a game. Noone new how to open them on time, how to explain their cost and procedures to use them. Told to purchase tickets at front desk, given a card to use but the cages use tokens. When asked how to get tokens, told you have to scan card, the attendent will give you tokens. No attendent on duty. Then when one came out,she didnt know how to do this. Manager finally arrived. Told us the conveyor belt was jammed and needed another person to fix it. When I asked how long it will be, they responded" it will be whenever they get here. When asked where they were coming from( wondering if the person was actually on the property) they said they are inside. When I asked for our tokens, the other manager ignored me. Then he said I was rude. My friend was in the batting cages waiting for it to start. He had a baseball game at 4pm in Blue island. Just wanted to warm up before the game. Instead of given tokens they turned it on without tokens. We had to leave to get to the game on time. Paid 10 dollars, didn't get any tokens.When I asked for a refund, told no, you are rude. Math here, 40 tokens for $10. one round is 1.50. My friend got one round of 15 pitches and the machine was shut off. No refund. When my friend asked where I was ( I left because I was told I was rude for asking for tokens or a refund) he was told "I KICKED YOUR RAGGEDY ASS WIFE OUT FOR BEING RUDE". ( Which he did not kick me out. Barely any rides there and the tumble train does not go backwards and even one of the ride operators made it not so fast AND the cost of this place was $160 just to enter with 3 kids. I am not happy about this place and a video said there was a roller coaster but all of that stuff is lies. I hate this place so much and even if you think they could change, they won't. We had a blast! We had our son's birthday party and he couldn't have been any happier. The two team members who were assigned to us were very professional, attentive and very polite. They gave us the rundown and answered any questions we had about the day. The food was good too! We got three whole pies, nuggets and fries and it was more than enough to feed the kids both young and old. They asked us what time we wanted to serve food and cake which was nice so we could space it the way we wanted to. They make an announcement over the PA and the kids are back in the party room eating cake and talking about all the cool things they did. Laser tag, Fortnite, bounce houses, pop a shot.. more Fortnite. They had a blast.m! This place is NOT a "FUN" world forreal forreal. I literally JUST left there and couldn't wait to write this review. For the $35 unlimited 3 hours outdoors wasn't worth it. The go karts were the best thing they had to offer. The mini golf clubs, balls and courses were NOT clean. The bumper boats were A JOKE. Even on the inside there were games out of order. I remember when I was 6 years old, I considered this place to be paradise.....I finally came to this place recently for the first time in about 20 years and i'm surprised some of the attractions like the bowling alley are still there but my experience here kind of left me baffled. I came here on a Friday night expecting this place to be pack but it was nearly empty. When me and my cousins played laser tag, there was always a problem, whether it came to guns or other things not working. Plenty of the games weren't working. Playing games here is almost just as expensive as Dave & Busters. We played Go-Karts and the staff jumped around cheering because it was raining because they get to call it a day and one of the workers decided to hitch a ride on my Go-Kart (sounds funny) and drive him 100 feet. I'm all for fun and games but the staff honestly doesn't care about their job.I'll definitely come back though regardless since this place has a part of my childhood. read more

Your little black heart can skip a beat with monstrous glee. This year, Hubs decided he didn't want to drive all the way out to Bengtson's Pumpkin Farm in Homer Glen. He wanted to try something closer, and this little number popped up on Google in Tinley Park. F*ck you, Google. I thought we were cool. I am NOT Wednesday Addams. I do NOT enjoy being miserable. You clearly got the wrong memo, G. I'll be over at Bing from now on if you need me. Once we pulled up to this decrepit and exhausted excuse of a pumpkin patch, I knew we had made the wrong choice. No, sorry, HUBS made the wrong choice. He still sleeps on the couch for this one. Not really, but I take my Halloween activities seriously, people. So this is still a dig I use with zing whenever possible. Admission to this hellhole is $11/person, with no chance of a refund. No matter how much it sucks. Someone was using their pumpkinhead when they thought of this fine print, because otherwise my sassypants would have waltzed right the eff back out and demanded my money back. Unlike Bengston with its smooth-paved paths guiding you to quaint little barns and displays of beautiful gourds, Odyssey is more of the packed-down manure variety, with some large gravel thrown in to help you roll your ankle while you make your way to the poor livestock chained to turnstiles (I couldn't even walk by there without muttering epitaphs of pain for the animals). I want to chain those humans to the turnstiles and make them walk around in circles. Offensive costume required to maximize their miserable experience. So instead of watching animals be tortured, we ventured to the "pumpkin patch" which was just a few small displays left of orange pumpkins. No Cinderellas, no variety, no gourds. Not even the tiny pumpkins were left. I will say that the few orange rollypollys left were half off. And thank God they were, because had I paid $14 instead of $7 for my big bertha of a pumpkin I would have gone HAM on someone. After that little sidetrack, we wound through the corn maze that spanned a vast area and made me claustrophobic of being stuck in the outskirt of Chicago's southside. There were several children, actually, a lot of you little nerds looked more like tweens... anyway there were a lot of young people running through the maze trying to complete the Monopoly harvest scoreboard we were given when we entered. They looked like they were having a lot of fun. Good for them. And really, it wasn't THAT bad, but it wasn't great either. The more legitimate fear of that maze wasn't that you wouldn't find your way out, but that you'd wind up on the side of the highway. In addition to the "patch" of pumpkins, I'm sorry I just can't call it that without the quotes. It isn't a freaking patch. It's a poor excuse for a pile of discarded pumpkins who had seen better days. Anyway, in addition to THAT and the corn maze and the animal cruelty demonstration, there are pig races, which also looked really sketch, a corn kernel pen to jump, and a LOT of country music playing loudly everywherealwayswithnoreprieveomgmakeitstop, and painted stands to stick your face in and smile and pretend like you're having fun. No thank you. I think the most horrifying part of this tragedy is how nice the staff is. I want so much more for you, staff! You deserve more. Get the hell out of there and run for your lives! Still the crap of the crop. I visited again last night against my better judgement. First, they need to see your ID for credit card / debit card purchases even if your card is signed. VISA and MasterCard merchant-credit card agreements don't allow stores to require ID for credit card transactions. Merchants can ask for ID, but they can't refuse the transaction if you don't show your ID. My transaction was refused until I showed my ID. Second, they raised prices on their games. Now some games take as many as 8 tokens - that's $2.00 for a simple "chance" game. Others take 4 tokens - just for a chance to win tickets. I'd say the average is about 3-4 tokens per game. Third, they did fix some of the problems I pointed out months ago regarding the skee-ball machines, however a lot of the games that were out of order over 6 months ago are still broken, namely the basket ball games. Finally, when it's time to cash in your tickets, the ticket counting machines are few and far between. Good luck trying to find one that works. read more

An apparently hidden gem in the South Suburbs. There is something here for infants to teenagers. OFW is massive. They have a climbing room with as ofw explains "ball pits, slides, tunnels, mazes" for younger children, mini roller coasters and Ferris wheels, plenty of arcade games including skee ball and mini bowling. Bumper cars and even laser tag. We went with some friends thanksgiving weekend. In the summertime it appears to be even more extensive. Bumper boats, go karts and batting cages are among some of the outdoor activities. A great place to let the kids run around. The two and three year olds that we took had an amazing time and were occupied for two hours. They could have stayed even longer. Today I'm attending a children's birthday party at your Tinley park location. My son and I rode the Himalaya ride. According to their signage, riders have to be 36 inches or taller to ride. I witness 3 mothers bring their infants on this ride ‍ I'm talking 6 months, 9 months and even a year old on this ride. I expressed my concern to the operator about rhe safety and welfare of these babies. The operator replied snd i quote "the adult understands that if something were to happen to the baby/child during the ride, odyssey fun world is not held responsible. The adult enter at their own risk." I cannot believe this entertainment facility would even allow idiot parents to risk putting their babies in potential danger for the sake of the parent to be allowed to ride?! Are they that thirsty to accept monies from idiot parents so you can make their sale for the day? No major issues. I go here mainly for the pinball machines. They are constantly broke or not working correctly. I sent an email and it looks like they did bring someone in to service them. But even after that, the volume on the Star Wars machine was off and some of the others had a lot of wear on them. The location of the pinball machines is in a high traffic area, so lots of kids go by and smack the machines. They always have a large number of staff, which is really cool. The place is pretty clean, but they should keep an eye on the tables and wherever food is, sometimes there are leftover crumbs and things. The last thing they should keep in mind, if you want a good clientele, you have to have a good staff. As soon as negativity happens, or anyone isn't motivated to work with kids or in that environment, they shouldn't work there. No one is doing anyone favors by letting kids work a job they don't want to work at. read more

I went to this "fun world " as of yesterday for the first time. It's a scam I was very dissatisfied because of poor customer service! First and foremost everything was closed down from the outside to even the inside sky zone, Clint p the cashier didn't communicate that everything was closed! and suggested 4hrs indoor play which was 30 bucks ! 60 for two people. We were there for legit 20 minutes. Got there at 5:27pm and left out @ 5:55pm because most arcade games were broken or in bad condition. The points were already out but it's for 4 hrs? That was such a rip off and then I get to the window and it says no refunds!? we were not warned in advanced, what kinda of business doesn't give refunds for dissatisfied customers! 20 minutes ! Paid 60 buckssss SCAMMERS ! I never write reviews but this one got me. Overall I feel that the owners need to step up on training there workers on good customer service because that's how you lose business. You never know what you're going to get when coming to these indoor amusement establishments. Place is large with tons to do including rides inside! Also noticed some outdoor activities (which were closed, seasonal) such as mini golf and go karts (track looks awesome) The selection of games is slim and they are older. Most games take more then 1 token and definitely not worth that. Somewhat pricey on tokens as well with only 2 options ($5 for 20 tokens) or ($20 for 100) no better deal when getting the 100 tokens but you'll burn through them quick so might as well. We did have a blast playing laser tag and I enjoyed the upstairs area as they purposely still have some old school games such as NBA jam, street fighter, and off road. The staff is very unfriendly, not very welcoming, and it's hard to find a staff member if your precious tokens get taken by a machine . Doesn't make for a great experience. Awful. I came here on a Saturday night with my son and husband. Upon pulling into the parking lot, we heard yelling, and at the front entrance a lady holding a child was screaming with security. Security was yelling and threatening to call police.. at that point I would of left since I wouldn't consider the hostile environment family friendly, but the dispute defused and my son was too excited to leave. Upon entering, the building was extremely hot/ musty. My son and I were hungry, so we headed for the food area. My son ordered a cheese pizza slice, and I ordered a grilled cheese. They gave us a buzzer and told us it would ring when the food was ready. My son got his slice of pizza immediately, as they had premade slices in a warmer. I waited 45 mins for a grilled cheese. Mind you there was no line/ kitchen was not busy. After finally receiving our food, we went to the sitting area to find a table. There was trash all over the floor, the floors were sticky, and tables were all dirty. Again, the place was nearly empty. We found a clean enough table and sat down. 5 mins into us eating, a worker comes by and asks us to move because "someone got sick under this table" .. we look below us and there's vomit underneath the table that we didn't see. I was horrified and threw my food away as I lost my appetite. Finally it was time to quickly spend our token card and get the heck out of there. The games in the area were dirty and covered in grime. My son won about 300 tickets and got a slinky and 1 jolly rancher candy. The staff was weird and stand-offish. Some down right rude. You can tell no one likes their job. ***less than 24 hours later, my son and I are extremely sick, vomiting and have what we think is food poisoning. We both ate some of the pizza. My husband did not eat here and he is fine. Our symptoms came on at the exact same time. Be careful if you're eating here! If I could give ZERO stars I would. This park is disorganized, dirty, and full of punks who rule the park. Many of the people running the rides do not know what they are doing, and obviously do not care about the customers. Many of the games inside did not work leading to lost money on my games play card. They could at least mark the games as broken, but then they would not get the money. That's how I see it anyway. When we first had problems with one of the games, there was no one around to help. If you left the game to find someone you would risk losing what you did put in the machine. There are kids running around with no supervision. Lord knows where the parents of these kids were, but they were not with them. This whole place is worse than awful now!!! I remember when this was a great place to take your family for some good fun.
