This is a pretty big venue with tons of lanes. It's clean, modern, has a huge parking lot and the food is pretty good, especially for a bowling alley. I've been a couple times for special events and it's always a positive experience. Strong customer service, the shoe rentals are in good condition, plenty of balls to choose from and the lanes all functioned well (e.g., no problems with the balls returning). The only drawback is that it is expensive...about $40 an hour and shoe rentals are extra. read more

They have horrible prices for bowling. $60 for an hr of bowling with 3 people you only get 2 games a person. Literally just paid $50 for 4 people 4 games per person and 1 pair of shoes in oak lawn the week before. The lady at the front desk over sassy. Every 2-3 frames had to call for ball returns wasting time. The pin rack was trash. Pins randomly dropping after being racked. I will never be returning. read more

RESPONSE TO BEVERLY: Dear Beverly, (Owner) With you being a representative of Centennial 2.0, I greatly appreciate the response and the change in tone, however, I stand by my initial review. There absolutely is something that could have been done, like rescheduling when it was mutually convenient. Why is it difficult to reschedule a second time? I have been there on a week day evening and it has been less than half full. There is something you can do Beverly (Owner), you can issue a refund to me. I have spent a handful of New Years Eve's here with friends. The dj was always great, the bartenders were cool and I love the music. Two stars for DJ and random cool bartenders. My MAJOR issue is that I reserved a lane for two hours on Valentine's Day (see picture). If you recall, we had a dangerous snow storm on Valentine's Day - so nobody was driving/leaving. I called and asked if we could move the reservation to the following week, I didnt ask for a refund. The man that answered said sure, and moved it to two weeks later. Well two weeks later I was on trial at work, and could not come in. I called back and a rude woman answered and acted like she was seeking approval to move my reservation a second time, when I know she was the manager or owner who could do as she wished. She put me on hold for over 15 minutes so I hung-up, called back and went off! She rudely told me that she couldn't get approval and that there are no refunds. I'm out $60, but you're now out customers you janky, dirty establishment! You obviously need the money. Luckily there are three other bowling alleys near by, you are not special! read more

i don't normally leave reviews, however this place just bothered me. you must make a reservation, which alright, that's fine. prices start at 30$ an hour which is a little extreme. time starts at the time of reservation, not when you arrive. make sure to get there early. to start the game, you must download an app on your phone.. which takes time. so now it's 20-25 minutes in. and we haven't thrown a ball. finally get to throw a ball.. and it doesn't return. throw another. no return. tell an attendant, they say to hit the "reset" button, which also skips one of your turns. so hit the reset button. no balls return. tell attendant again, so they have someone come fix it. maybe 2-3 minutes. it was quick. great. thank you. so now during the first, 5 frame game, randomly someone/everyone gets a turn skipped, or the pins are still up from last persons turn during the next persons turn. which is whatever because it wasn't a serious game but still kinda sucks that it's not working as it should. ordering food was a nightmare. can't order from attendant must use website. which wouldn't load when it came to paying. seriously 25minutes of trying to order food and it finally works. staff was nice enough. building was clean. food was good. i will probably not come back to this alley for bowling. tldr; expensive, difficult to use/long loading/set-up time, technical difficulties with bowling lane. read more

WARNING!I am disgusted and in shock that I need to write this right now. But feel obligated to advise anyone who is thinking of having an event, party, or even go to this establishment to stay away... I am incredibly disappointed at how the staff and ownership of this location treated our guests and my family at my daughter's birthday party. I also found many of the comments made by the "owner" to be deeply disturbing. While I was working with our party coordinator to discuss the food for our party, I saw one of my guests, a young mom in tears, being spoken to very rudely by the staff. It turns out... The staff was upset because the daughter of the mom, a young autistic girl, ran out into the bowling lane. The mother saw it happened and immediately ran after the girl and got her back. The staff started screaming at the mother, telling her she needed to do a better job watching her kid among other comments. When I asked the staff to watch how they are speaking to the mother, who at this point was in tears, they immediately started yelling at me. I explained that we understand that the girl being out there on a lane was very concerning, and we apologized that had happened on our watch and ensured them we would not let that happen again. But I did say that does not give them the right to yell at a woman. They did not agree and continued to berate both me and the mother. A man who claimed to be the owner kept insisting that whoever the child's "owners" should not have brought the kid to the party. SPEAKING AS IF DISABLED CHILDREN ARE POSSESIONS!!!! I found this to be an incredibly insensitive way to speak to a mother of a child with disabilities. And when the father of the child heard this, he confronted the owner who told him "to leave him alone because he didn't want to get arrested for assault today". THREAT OF VIOLENCE AGAINST A CUSTOMER!!!! Incredibly bizzare uncalled for threat. Totally unnesscary... after many attempts to calm the staff down they finally agreed that we discontinue the conversation and we went in to our space to have my daughters party. I was incredibly disappointed and embarrassed to watch our guests walk in as me and this mother were berated and threatened by staff for a child walking out into a lane of a bowling alley. I was sad to watch the mother and father of the child stay in the corner with their daughter the entire party after being threatened and berated. I we did not have many guests, and if it were not our child's party, we would have walked out. It was one of the most uncomfortable situations I've been in. The owners and staff (with the exception of a few who were extra kind to us) ought to be ashamed of themselves. read more

I implore anyone reading to AVOID BOWLING HERE. I usually don't write reviews, (even negative ones) I just choose to never return to establishments after bad experiences. But my 1 star needs to be documented here. I actually wish I had read the reviews before making reservation in the 1st place. Would have seen all the negative experiences with guy at the front desk. The guy doesn't know how to speak respectfully to guests and has an immense lack of understanding/care concerning appropriate customer service. And after viewing his interactions with several groups from my bowling lane nearby the front desk, it's a sad/apparent truth that this disrespectful tone and attitude is directed specifically toward non-white patrons. I will never return to this establishment and will vehemently discourage anyone from spending their money there until changes are made with the desk position. I've read the replies from the owner account (Beverly) on negative reviews but there is no excuse for allowing individuals that have no level of customer service continue to be the 1st person you deal with as a representative of your business. The older lady with glasses working at the concession stand has a nasty horrible attitude as well. Again if you don't like your job please find something else to do. Went there for a fun day with my church. The place was clean and the staff was polite. We will come back again.

This place might be the worst business I have ever set foot in. It is a trashy place with both trashy lanes and trashy employees. They don't take care of their lanes at all bc they are so lazy. Ball returns damage my and others very expensive bowling balls. If you take bowling seriously you will regret bowling here. Bowling balls constantly get stuck and lanes break down all the time. It is the worst taken care of bowling alley out there. They also have trashy employees who apparently are taught to be disrespectful. They treat you like trash and act like your the idiot when really they are. They just sit behind the desk the entire time "running" a bowling alley. This place needs to go out of business asap. Please stop patronizing this dump and giving them your money. Instead go to arena lanes or palos lanes, they treat you with kindness and care about your stuff. Hopefully your business crumbles to the ground so they can get more attention. read more

So this review is for 2 events: First event was in January 2023 and it was a team building event for my office. We did not realize the the kitchen was still closed so when we arrived, we were also told no outside food or drink...but not even dinks were available other than if there was vending..made for a poor start to our intent of building morale. The Alley itself was dirty and one of the pin setters was really SLOW...didn't think too much more about it and decided not to return for work events...fast forward to April 2023..looking for a way to entertain 4 kids for a bit and deiced to give this bowling alley another try...mistake! We had 2 lanes and were told our reservation started at 3pm (pre-paid). We checked in 10 min early so we'd be ready to throw first ball at 3 pm. Well, lanes didn't turn on until 3:08 (this matters as we were shut down at 4pm when we should have had an hour) Also, the facility was quite full but one of our tables (by the lanes) was FULL of spilled sticky beverage so we could not step near that table as we didn't want to ruin our bowing shoes nor track it into other areas. A very nice gentle man came and attempted to mop it up but only cleaned 1/2 of it so we really had 1/2 of our party standing the entire time. The manager was not receptive to allowing us until 4:05 on the lanes since there was another reservation immediately behind us..poor response since we couldn't start on time for 2 reasons out of our control. lastly, please finish the trim from the wood by the ball return stands. Looks terrible and is a trip hazard. Not sure if we will return for a 3rd try. read more

Wow has bowling changed! You can make reservations online, add ur names prior to arrival, and customize gutter guides per player! Who knew? We also loved the cosmic bowl on Saturday during our time. A man was there to immediately wipe down tables and screens after that lane of people exited which was nice to see. The only thing I'd say is that the prices are a bit high 48$ for one hour of time ( 2 games and 3 frames) plus shoes for two. Plus since time starts ticking right at your reservation, it was odd u couldn't even give me shoes until my husband came with his ID. Plus, 4.25 for a pop? Yikes. We first walked in and went right to the front desk to check in and get our bowling shoes. The lady at the front desk was not pleasant at all. She hands one of our friends the wrong size shoes so he said politely back, can I get a size 9 , the rude lady literally huffed and puffed and rolled her eyes then slammed down the shoes onto the counter! Completely uncalled for! Next experience was even worst, I wanted a bucket of beer, so I went into the bar area. It wasn't busy, there was a couple sitting next to me on my right and a party of four on my left and around the bar was a party of four that just sat down after me and the bar tender helped them! I was standing at the bar for a good 10 minutes trying to signal her down politely but nothing, she wouldn't even look at me! So I gave up and went back to bowl. My fiancé went back about five minutes later and she got that same rude service until an older white lady came up to her and served her! Ohhh it gets better! We were over charged for the bucket of beers as well. A friend from our group went to the bar before myself and my fiancé did. He got a bucket of Modelo which is a imported beer. He asked how much are the buckets, he was told 18 dollars for domestic beers and 21 dollars for imported beers! My fiancé was charged 21 dollars for a bucket of Michelob ultra which is a domestic beer!!! I am absolutely appalled on the service of this place! I have been coming to the bowling alley for years since I was a teenage and never had these problems! Bowling alley and bar seems to have a problem serving the white race. We made a reservation but the person who reserved forgot their ID. So logically, we asked if we can cancel the reservation and rebook on the spot or just cancel the reservation and pay to play at that exact moment. The rude lady at the front desk told us that we can't do that because they are afraid we will dispute the previous charge when we reserved and leave. She made sure to explain to us how they have a list of people who aren't allowed into the bowling alley. Naturally we asked for our money back since we couldn't play and couldn't rebook, and they told us that we would be added to that list and aren't welcome back. I now understand why that list is very long now. I would not recommend this bowling alley to anyone. read more

Eh... the place really needs some TLC. The bowling alley seems okay, although a bit cramped between the alley seats and the general walkway behind. Bowling balls are usually in decent shape. The tavern though looks like it hasn't been touched in 30 years and not in a good way. The window blinds need a trip to the dumpster and the bar stools look terrible. Upon entering, even though there's no smoking, the place still has a faint aroma of cigarette smoke. The staff behind the counter were plenty helpful. Nice new shoes that have velcro instead of laces. The staff behind the bar had a little attitude with me from the start when I asked if they had any deals on pitchers or buckets. "Well do you want a pitcher or a bucket?" I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked any questions. Here, take my money. If the games weren't as cheap, I might find a different alley. New owners took over and are obviously not bowlers. They don't leave the air on and it's hot and humid in there. The approaches are like Bowling on sand paper. They spent tons of money paving the parking lot and putting in fancy faucets but can't take care of the actual lanes. Skip it. read more

I really enjoyed this spot, but the only thing that was concerning was the fact that this place wasn't following the protocols due to COVID. Although I usually bowl in Orland bowl every time I've gone to centennial Lanes I've always been very happy with their customer service and their lane conditions I've always enjoyed bowling there and it's always been a pleasant time. Even though my lessons are always at Orland bowl but when i get the option to go to Centennial lanes I will most likely take it. Have not attended in awhile but used to join a group there to bowl on Sundays that was so much fun. I dunno if they still have the great deals they did then but we'd play 3 games & usually have a pizza thrown in. And if not mistaken, shoes too. I can't imagine they still can offer such a wonderful-price package but it sure made the winter blues a bit brighter. And it was a nice alley, with plenty of clean bathrooms & balls of various weights (as that can sometimes be an issue for me if you can't get one suited to your likening). Nice idea for group of friends that won't break the bank & even if you're not a good bowler, like me, you will come away having had fun. The price per person on Sat evening is $5 pp I had 5 people on one lane and paid $30 for an hour of bowling. After the 8th frame the lanes went off. They accused us throwing too many balls, really how? I went to ask if They could turn lane back on and they refused. We didn't waste any time on lanes no one went to the restroom or to buy food. We did have to wait for guy to put up the bumpers tho! One of the workers behind the desk looked like maybe owner's daughter was very rude!
