I've been seeing Dr. Narvasa for years now as my primary care physician. Dr. and her staff are the most nice and friendly people that I've ever met when it comes to healthcare staff. Anytime I have to call them on the phone or when I see them at the clinic, they always welcome me with a warm greeting and genuine concern for what I need. When I'm out of my prescriptions and need a refill, I call on the phone and speak with Maria. Most doctors would have you come in to see you just to get that extra fee, even if you've just seen them recently. But less than a minute on the phone and 5 minutes later, my refills have been requested and sent to the pharmacy. Thank you to Dr. Narvasa, Maria and her wonderful staff for making me feel like family when visiting the clinic and making a call to request for refills. I know I've called more than my fair share for requests. Not only do I feel like I'm getting the best care, but I see that the doctor always keeps up to date on the latest medicine as she goes to conventions and seminars. Dr. Narvasa is a pill pusher! Be aware! She is in the room for less than 5 mins and medication is the solution for everything. She doesn't make notations in the patient's chart about plans that both the patient and Dr discussed and agreed upon. Every time she sees you, it's like she is meeting you for the first time. Also, if you verbalize that you don't want to take the medication and you give her valid reasons, she scolds you and concluded by saying "well I'm going to put you on ...... anyways". Review of Dr. Narvasa - great. Just wanted to note that any visitors/ caregivers / family WILL get rejected if you are not vaccinated. I assumed my negative covid test yesterday would allow me to go with my mom, like I did in the hospital when she had a heart attack, but that is not the case here. It is a little disheartening because I came from out of town to be with her and it would have been nice, as a notice if I knew there would a FaceTime is an option or rejection at the door. Also - if I was vaccinated, and had a POSITIVE test yesterday, but didn't want to show the results - entry would be okay? Makes no sense, but you need a vaccine bottom line. No other proof of health is acceptable. Even if you have a medical doc that doesn't recommend the vaccine, based on your med history, and also a negative covid test from the day before. But that's politics. What can you do. At the end of the day, we made it work on FaceTime. But just a heads up that this is something I would've liked her staff to give. read more

I cannot fully express how thankful I am to Dr. Narvasa for the medical care she provided during my struggle and continue struggle with long haulers covid. When Kaiser would not help me- I switched over to Dr. Narvasa, whom I found on Yelp. She took my concerns and symptoms very seriously, provided me with all the referrals to have a complete medical evaluation and not once did she make me feel like my symptoms were psychosomatic. I called to make my first appointment as a new patient and asked if they have any COVID vaccination requirements. I was told by a gentleman over the phone that I would need to be vaccinated to come into the office, otherwise it'll be a digital appointment over the phone and I wouldn't be able to come into the office ever to meet with the doctor in person. I have never heard of this and I work in the medical field as well. The gentleman's response was "well if the doctor gets sick then she won't be able to treat her patients". read more

Been there a few times the office visit itself isn't bad . The western university medical students are great, patient and really take the time to hear what is going on . However trying to make an appointment is difficult , I had to call several times in one day in order to get someone to pick up the phone . I left a message once and it took them three days before they called back. I have been waiting on a referral to a specialist for nearly a month. Because I've been waiting for someone to call me back. I'm going back to my old provider and most likely won't return due to the poor customer service from office staff and how it can be a nuisance just to schedule an appointment. A recommendation might be to hire more office staff? There only seems to be one person there whenever I'm in the office she seems overwhelmed because she is dealing with in person patients and then taking calls over the phone. read more

Extremely rude & unprofessional Dr's. She does not listen to patient concerns, consistently talks over patients. Leaves door open while talking to patient about private information while other patients are in the building & can hear. Patient has to constantly push that they have health concerns because DR dismisses all concerns. Overheard dr & nurses speaking badly about patients & making fun of health concerns. Constantly tells patient they are wrong & questions patients. Does not listen to feedback when calmly being told they are acting unprofessional. Receptionist & RN nurses are amazing. The doctor is amazing but the staff is disappointing! Was on hold for 30 minutes to just trying to make an appointment! I hung up and called again, same thing! Another hold for 30 plus minutes! First impression: (two stars) no greeting. The Receptionist was disappointing. It was obvious she didnt want to be at work. By the end of my entire visit I knew that my encounter with her was by far the worst part. I hope this isn't a daily issue with all patients. Later: (five stars) I was helped by a nurse and a Western University student Dr. Rivera. They were both so kind and welcoming. Dr. Rivera was very thorough and knowledgeable. I was very impressed. Lastly: (5 stars) Dr. Narvasa was very VERY helpful. I had been with a different provider for years and I couldn't get an appointment with a neurologist. Dr. Narvasa did it in less than 10 mins. Dr. Narvasa is awesome! She is the most caring and knowledgable family doctor I know. I personally prefer a female doctor who is comfortable with OB/Gyn services and she is all of the above. Her staff is always super friendly and accommodating with appointments, referrals, and medication refill requests. I've been seeing Dr Narvasa for a few years and the level of care is between mediocre and just acceptable. The best service provided by her are the many referrals I got to see specialist for my complains. What I dislike the most is how rushed the visit is after waiting for 1-2 hours. Dr Narvasa is not only an excellent family doctor, she is a doctor with a big heart as well. I am a three time cancer survivor. I always pay attention to anything that feels weird in me. So with my latest PET SCAN, I was really grateful that Dr Narvasa meticulously analyzed its findings. She did What was best, called up my Oncologist and discussed the matter with him. Soooo after having a very impersonal experience here with a physical. They decided to Bill my insurance for services I did not receive. I received a physical on x date they charged my insurance for that. Then a week later they billed for a whole lot more services ( blood work, mammogram, etc) So when I received two notices one for 4500 and one for 3000 I contacted my insurance provider and disputed it. They sent the Doctors office a request for proof... MAGICALLY they waived the charges and closed the file. I am not a fan of fraud. People like her are why insurance rates are so ridiculous! Covid 19 is here and even though her office is closed I can reach out to her through phone or better yet email and through the help of her staff especially Maria, the response so quick. I have cancer and I get sick so easily. I email her today, same day I get the medication right away. Yes. My medication is called in at the pharmacy right away. I had eye infection, I email her my eye picture, she talks to me over the phone and later on I had my medication right away. I have asthma, diabetes, and everything is under control because of her. Can never get an appointment when you need to be seen. Isn't available for refilling prescriptions unless you make an appointment, so they can take additional money from you via co pay just to tell you what you already know and have already been diagnosed for BY THEM before. I needed to wait for the doctor to approve my refill for an existing condition. I called in the morning to see about getting my refill, was told by rosie that Id get a call back soon. Three hours later I had to call back to follow up again and was told the doctor hadn't reviewed my chart and to wait for another call. Needless to say I end up having to call back after not hearing back another two hours later, only to be passed around to another person in the office and told that she still didn't get In touch with the doctor. The same doctor who was in the same office as the person I was talking to. When I asked why it was taking so long to get an answer I was told by Maria that the doctor was busy dealing with "sick patients and that I wasn't a priority" because I should come in, since I haven't had a check up in over a year. I explained that I has no reason to come in some I haven't been sick enough and that I was never once advised when I called this morning that I needed to come in to be seen, just because. I explained it's the same pre existing condition, nothing has nor will change and that I need the refill ASAP before my symptoms got worse. I went on to tell her that I tried calling over the weekend and the after hours line would not even allow me to speak with the doctor because per the doctors orders they will not refill prescriptions or take calls about prescriptions at all over the weekends and that I needed to call the doctor on Monday. She said that again she hadn't heard from the doctor and would call me back. Needless to say and not to my surprise I end up getting a call back from Maria to tell me after they closed that the doctor would not refill my prescription and that if I wanted it I needed to come in for a check up. What a joke! If I was told this, this AM, I would already have my refill. I've been seen by other doctors in the past for the same pre existing condition and never had an issue getting a refill. Honestly I don't recommend this doctor as this is NOT the first time I have felt the doctor had no concern for me or my children, whether we were trying to make an appointment to be seen right away, fill a prescription and or having a referral sent out. Not to mention that she charges unnecessary fees and makes you have unnecessary appointments, only to wait an hour plus to be seen for less than five minutes and to have her rush you out, which every time made us feel neglected. I have given too many opportunities to make things right but no more chances. I will never be back and will never recommend family or friends to Dr. Narvasa. read more

You always have to wait an hour at the least before going to a room. Then you have to deal with students who are nice but you are wasting time then Dr. Narvasa will come in at this point you are there over 2 hours. If she has her own patients you will get skipped and then the wait is even longer. Dr. Narvasa and her staff changed my life in so many ways. First off, I was one of her former students. Many of you might think I gave her 5 stars because I was her student. Reality is, I've seen her interact with her patients, many of whom she's been taking care of for a decade or more. She is truly compassionate and really does care for ALL of her patients. Unlike other physicians, she does not just go in and do her exam and leave the room with many questions unanswered. She talks to her patients like she is their family member. Not even my own doctor does that! As a student, she was very patient with me throughout my learning. I have spent 400 hours with her and never did I feel like I was not knowledgeable or incompetent. I kept getting progressively better at my patient assessment skills and management. I have learned so much from her. She continues to practice evidence-based medicine and is always up to date with her medical management. Patients do not see behind closed doors how detail oriented she is with her patient management and documentation. She goes through stacks and stacks of lab results and diagnostic procedures and makes sure she follows through. Even with her hectic schedule, she agreed to mentor NURSE PRACTITIONER and PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT students free of charge!!! Why would she continue to do a thankless job? Because she has a heart and compassion that many physicians do not have. Will I let her take care of me? ABSOLUTELY. Dr. Narvasa's office staff are truly wonderful and hardworking. I will always forever be grateful to Ms Maria, Rocio, and Esthepani, and Laura. Again, Dr. Narvasa is one of a kind and she deserves to get 5 stars from me and from all her patients.
