This is a family owned out of the way place which is right up my alley. The wife and I got several things and there were some definite winners. The spicy Italian beef was very good with great flavor and super soft bun. The loaded fries were cooked to perfection. Somebody knows how to work a deep fryer. A good fry can be hard to come by. Will will return to try the various hotdogs they are known for.

Absolutely delicious brisket! We went in and were told it was a Tuesday/Saturday brisket day and it did not disappoint. We also tried the fried pickles and mushrooms which were perfect. The coleslaw was a hit and the kids sliders were perfect. I didn't get a photograph of the brisket as I gobbled it down! Cute little spot, very kind owners and amazing food. We can't wait to go back and try the pulled pork which smelled amazing. A must stop in Oak Ridge!

Nice little restaurant right off the beaten path with great, friendly customer service and delicious food!! The burger was one of the best I've had. Fries were hot and fresh. The tamale was ok, but not your traditional Mexican tamale.

YUM! I should've taken pictures before we ate, but it looked so good we couldn't wait. Everything we had was delicious! We started with the Coney and Chicago dogs, which were so good we went back and ordered the Wisconsin and Off Road dogs. The pork on the Off Road was some of the best I've had! My fave was the Wisconsin with the grilled onions and peppers. Also tried the pizza puff, which was super tasty. Get the tangy dipping sauce with it! The owners were SO friendly and the price was absolutely right too. It may be a little hidden, but it is so so worth the trip! We can't wait to go back and try more!

Great food, outstanding service! It's a little hard to find, but well worth the trip. Small family owned spot, will definitely return. Try the Carolina dog, it's great!

If you are missing the flavor of Chicago Italian beef... look no further. Great flavor beef and gravy. The only shortcomings was that the sweet peppers were a bit undercooked and the bread seemed to be lacking something for my pallet... but those are my opinions. I will return. They offer Vienna beef and I am looking forward to a hot dog and Maxwell Polish next time.

This is one of the magical things about looking for places to eat on-line... you will sometimes find places that you would completely pass over if you were to look at them from the road. This is one of those places. The place is very non-descript, and definitely a locals kind of place. When we walked in there was a small party going on that looked like it was wrapping up, and we were able to get a table. We were greeted warmly, so they do have their hospitality game working for them. There is an outdoor seating area, but as it was getting dark we opted for sitting inside. We both ordered burgers... there are no fries on the menu, which was surprising until we figured out that they don't have a deep fryer. All good there... we can make do with alternatives! I went for the mac and cheese. When the burgers came out, oh boy... these burgers are quite generous and my mother could only finish half of hers. Not a problem there either... it made a very nice little lunch item the next day. The burgers are quite good, and we would absolutely return for them!

It's a great locals gathering place as well as very welcoming to visitors.

Although they are serving from a food truck, the size of their smokers and quality of the food is comparable to anything I've had in a restaurant. On this occasion I had their 1/4 pound brisket sandwich with potato salad. While they offer a 1/2 pound sandwich, I found the 1/4 pound version to be a very generous portion and quite filling. The brisket itself was juicy and tender and had a perfect peppery bark. The sandwich is served with their house pickles and onions on the side along with a smoky sauce. Together it made for a great texture and mix of flavors. The potato salad was also very good and pairs well with the brisket. The folks running this business were extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.

Well, today was the first time I've been there when they had smoked. I'm extremely picky about smoked sausages and always prefer Texas-style over anything else around here. Today they had a jalapeño cheese smoked sausage... and it was absolutely delicious. I can't even properly express how good it was. So if you're reading this right now -- stop what you're doing and go get one. You won't regret it. The pulled pork sandwich is consistently delicious and a staple for me--but today, the smoked sausage completely stole the show. Absolute standout.

My husband had the Brisket Meal Deal Special and I had the 3 Rib Combo (ribs are my go-to at any BBQ joint). Our sides were fried okra, mac & cheese, and the loaded baked potato casserole. The sides were good, but the loaded baked potato casserole wasn't what I expected. It was more of a loaded mashed potato. Annnddd, if you're craving something sweet after all the salty BBQ, they have complimentary ice cream! Yummm...it was a nice addition. The service was a little lacking, but there were only 2 employees working. The food did come out fast. Oh...I also enjoyed listening to the country music as I dined.

When we arrived, the floors were extremely sticky. One of the bathrooms was closed. The ice cream machine was turned around so it couldn't be used. It may have been broken. The two employees who were working did not look happy at all. I'm not sure what was going on, but they were not delighted to see us come in. When we got there, the place had no customers. We ordered our food (sad burnt ends are not an option anymore) with no issues. It was smooth and fast. Unfortunately, the beans were very thick and tasted like they had been cooking for hours. The brisket and sausage were good. The pork ribs had just enough tug and were tasty. The BBQ sauces in the heated pans were very thick, as if they had been cooking for a long time. Overall, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the place, the staff's unfriendliness, and the decline of the restaurant since I last ate there. This was my friend's first experience with Dickey's, and he was pretty disappointed. I hope they bring it back to the level of previous days.
