Extreme Off-Road Adventure in Gatlinburg--Fun, Scenic, and Family-Friendly (5/5) We booked an guided off-road trek near Gatlinburg and it exceeded every expectation. From rugged climbs to smooth forest trails, the terrain offered a full spectrum of adventure--rocky ridges, muddy dips, creek crossings, and panoramic overlooks. It was the kind of ride that keeps you grinning the whole way. Vehicle & Gear The ATVs/UTVs were top-tier--powerful, reliable, and clearly well-maintained. No rattles, no drama. They provided all the gear: helmets, goggles, even rain ponchos. Everything was clean and ready to go, which made the prep stress-free. The Trek Our guide was a blast--funny, knowledgeable, and great with kids. He knew the terrain like the back of his hand and kept the energy high without rushing us. We hit forest trails, open ridgelines, and even a few splash zones. Plenty of thrilling uphill and steep down ones. It felt like a curated adventure, not just a ride. Family Comfort Facilities were a pleasant surprise--real bathrooms, not just porta-potties. That made a huge difference for our group. The scenic stops were perfect for breaks, and my wife especially appreciated the peaceful overlooks for breastfeeding. The views were calming, private, and absolutely stunning. To add, you can even bring your dog with ya on the trail. Final Verdict This was more than just off-roading--it was a full experience. Great terrain, great guide, great gear, and thoughtful touches that made it family-friendly without sacrificing thrill. We had an incredible time on this UTV tour and would 100% do it again. Everything from start to finish was well organized and felt thoughtful, but what really made the experience stand out were the people. Rissa and Chase were fantastic, super nice, welcoming, and fun to ride with. They really set the tone and made the whole adventure even better. The trail is perfect for anyone who loves nature, off-road driving, and unique experiences. You're driving through real mountain terrain, not just a basic path, and it truly feels like you're exploring somewhere special. The pit stop at the top of the mountain was hands down one of the best moments of the day. The views were absolutely stunning, the air was so fresh, and it was one of those moments where you just stop and appreciate where you are. Totally unforgettable. The ride lasted around 1.5-2 hours, which felt just right. Long enough to really enjoy it, but never tiring. The vehicles were in excellent condition, they felt new, smooth, and very comfortable to drive, which made the ride even more enjoyable. Price-wise, it may not be the cheapest tour out there, but it's absolutely worth it. You truly get what you pay for, and the experience delivers on every level. If I could give 10 stars, I would! On our recent trip to Tennessee, we booked the Unseen Off-Road tour and had Kyle as our tour guide. Our kids (4 and 5) had an incredible time and my husband and I were in awe of the view from the top of the mountain. Throughout the tour, Kyle made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable. By no fault of anyone, there was a little hiccup on our tour. Despite the hiccup, we all had such a fantastic time and even though our tour was minimally affected, Kyle provided us with a $350 credit for a future rental. We ended up using the credit for 4 hours of a street legal UTV a few days later and at Kyle's suggestion, drove it up to Clingmans Dome. Again, we were NOT disappointed. Steven, the manager, was fantastic to work with--super friendly, responsive, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Customer service was truly top-notch. Everything was well-organized and efficient, and we really appreciated all the extras included with the rental--park pass, Bluetooth speaker, and coolers. It made the trip even more enjoyable and convenient. This is such a great activity for the whole family--kids and even dogs had a blast! I made a weekend trip to Gatlinburg and had the chance to drive an ATV with Off-Road Gatlinburg. This was by far the best part of my trip, and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We drove up the mountain for an hour to the peak where the views were beyond amazing. Carlos led our tour and he was an absolute pleasure. He went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our ride and let us stay up at the peak for as long as we wanted. We booked through Isaiah, and he was also very friendly and answered all our questions thoroughly. I 100% recommend this place if you are interested in off-roading and guarantee you will have the best time. If I have a chance to come back to Gatlinburg, I will definitely be doing this again. read more

This place was AWESOME! Kyle, the owner, was absolutely fantastic to work with. His staff was welcoming and very informative. They quickly showed us how to operate the vehicles and made sure to tell us to "just have fun." We have been to Gatlinburg multiple times and this was our first time renting a UTV. Kyle hooked us up with a sweet deal. Both days the UTVs were running, warmed up, and squeaky clean before we got there. Upon return the staff was awesome and made sure that everything ran smoothly. Coolers blankets chargers holders snow suites chairs very accommodating. explored The smokies all the Way to Mingo Falls it was a long ride but worth it. if your looking to off road you'll want to do the guided tour however the self guided tour is great if you have small children or want to travel at your own pace. My family of 4 had an amazing time w Off Road! Check-in experience was super simple, they had our UTVs lined up so it was easy to get to our ride, and they guided us through some very uphill / rugged mountain terrain which is exactly what we wanted. i booked online was very easy to do i had some questions before booking and they were very quick to respond and tell me the answers we arrived a little earlier then our booking time and we were able to get the side by side and head to cades cove and a couple other places they recommended when we picked up the rental they also downloaded the offline maps for us because there is no service in the park if your wanting to rent a side by side i would highly recommend off road gatlinburg read more

Absolutely loved my experience, we went to another place to rent our slingshot and atv from down the road and by the time we got there they had already rented out the equipment after we had reserved them. Chance was absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable about the equipment and very helpful on getting us on the road. We rented 2 slingshots and an atv and had a blast on them all. Off Road Gatlinburg is a must, even if you are new to offroading!! We had the best time and the views....to die for!! Our tour guide Caleb was amazing!!! We did the 4:30 tour to watch the sunset at the top. Because the tour before us ran a bit late, Caleb made sure to get us to the top on time to watch the sunset! We made it!! The 3 hour off road CAN-AM side by side guided tour was totally off the chains. So much fun driving them threw the deep mud holes and creeks and over the mountains. Breath taking views threw out tour. Our guide Krystal was awesome and had cold waters for us all tour long. She was a lot of fun and drove like a boss. Seen some bear and deer. The crew at OFF Road Gatlinburg was great, friendly and cared about our safety. Our guides provided some local history about the mountains in the area. The hills were challenging yet drivable.
