Auto Zone - A receipt that's less than 30 days old.

Today, I returned with the receipt to exchange it because the plastic suction piece cracked, making it unusable. When I approached the counter, the manager, Jessie, immediately questioned why I wanted to return it. I explained the issue, but she seemed skeptical, even opening the box to check if all the components were there, as if I might be trying to return it incomplete. I was clear that when I purchased the item, I specifically asked about the return policy and was told I had 30 days with the receipt. However, Jessie claimed she was "doing me a favor" because, according to her, the item looked older than 30 days. I responded firmly, letting her know I wouldn't tolerate her questioning my integrity over a faulty product that wouldn't stay in place. Jessie, today's Sunday sermon about love really kept me calm, or I would have told you exactly what I thought. I won't be going back to AutoZone, and I plan to reach out to corporate to report this interaction. If a customer follows your store's policy and provides a receipt, it's your job to honor it and process the return. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Jessie, you need to take Customer Service classes, I'll recommend it when i file a formal complaint.

Chad Miller Auto Care - Nifty waiting area - the couch/seats are made from oil drums!

She has her car towed to Chad Miller Auto Care and calls me to say she needs a new battery and is being quoted $645. I ask her to hand her phone to an employee, and when I asked why this is so expensive the employee raised their voice at me. I asked for a manager and was informed it was Chad himself I was talking to. I would NOT suggest this mechanic. He is unprofessional and perpetuates the negative stereotype of crooked mechanics preying on young women.

Mine has an oil leak at least 4 different places haven't been able to figure out. Chad's garage gave me some hope, but they were never able to fix it. I take pretty much all "guarantees" with a grain of salt. "Bring it back"...pffft why would I? You couldn't fix it the First time? More likely, I'll just be dumping more money in sonl you can "half fix it" a 2nd time. One mechanic even told my wife to "hit the dash when her A/C wasn't kicking on...AFTER they fixed it. GTFO... Really!? Cost wasn't exactly on the cheap side...maybe fair, but ONLY if they fix the problem. My impression is they had way more cars than they could handle and were trying to rush them outa there. Fair enough, but I will not be taking either of ours back. Fair warning to those that do.

A Hidden Gem for Honest and Professional Auto Care…read more A family friend recommended Summit Automotive, praising their fair pricing and transparent service. I finally decided to visit on Monday, June 16th, to have a worn spark plug replaced--I'm so glad I did. From the very first phone call, I was impressed. Jon, the service advisor, was friendly, clear, and professional. He took the time to explain everything in detail, including letting me know that their technicians would be taking lunch at noon--so I could plan my visit to avoid unnecessary waiting. That kind of thoughtfulness already set the tone for a great experience. They do not have a fancy waiting area nor a beautiful building facade or multiple choices of beverages but they have the best customer service, pricing and quality assurance of their work. From the outside, the building looks insight or unlikely but this is a total hidden gem on Bandera road. This is my new place for all my car's service and maintenance needs.

I went in fully prepared to wait a couple hours and pay a couple hundred bucks. Anthony, at the front desk, came and looked at my car and fixed it in less than 2 minutes. When I told him I'd like to at least pay the diagnostic fee to show him appreciation for his time and expertise he declined. Now a days customer service is not what it use to be and Anthony just completely turned that around in less than 2 minutes. I am very grateful and will recommend Summit to everyone. Thank you!!
