Ernie, as usual, was honest, fast and fair. We bought a used car recently that had a bad hum when it got up to highway speeds. Thinking it was a bearing, or worse, my husband decided to take it to to Ernie to have him diagnose the problem. It turns out it just needed all new tires. What a relief! My family has been going to Colony Repair for many years, and Ozzie was like family to us. Now that he's retired, Ernie runs it very well. It's so nice to have a good, reliable mechanic. My wife's 2014 Ford Fiesta was having issues and randomly stalling. The first shop I took it to wanted to replace the fuel pump and a couple other parts. Decided to get a second opinion and took it here on a whim because it's only a couple miles away from home and within walking distance. I've delivered parts here before and know the people here are very nice. To make a long story short, the other shop was full of it. The mechanic said it was just a dirty throttle body. They cleaned it and it solved the problem. I deliver auto parts for a living so I visit a ton of big shops and dealerships along with smaller shops like this one. This shop is honest, priced unbelievably fair, and is now my go to mechanic. By far the best experience I've ever had at a mechanic shop in my life. I had an absolutely fantastic experience here today. So my car randomly wouldn't start this morning after I drove it to the office. We finally got it to start without a jump and I took it over to a nearby AutoZone. One of the goofy attendants at said AutoZone told me that my alternator definitely needed replacing. I ended up at this car care center thinking I needed a new alternator. They quoted a price much lower than anywhere else we called. But, what was truly amazing to me was their honesty. Earnest called and said my alternator and battery were fine! I just needed some work clearing the corrosion from around my battery and tighten the connections...which they did. What very easily could have been a $400 plus day in car repair turned into a day that was less than $100. I could have easily been taken advantage of... Having been told I needed a new alternator. Ernest made sure that did not happen, and I am very grateful. read more

You know you have a good mechanic when you ask about your brakes, and they tell you there's still some pad left! Ernest and Ozzie have always been great to our vehicles! I have been going there forever. They are the only ones I trust to diagnose and repair our vehicles. From Ozzy the "Boss Man" who will greet you and appoint a mechanic to help you out, to Ernest and Roy (Roy is semi retired so he's just there upon occasion) to whom are the most honest Guyz you want to meet. If they don't provide a certain service (ex:Catallic Converter, Engine or Transmission replacement), they will recommend you to another honest and reasonable Mechanic. Had been filling my rear driver side tire with nitro every few weeks at the dealership and was tired of the trouble. A friend recommended this place for tire repair and since it's closer than the dealer, I came to check it out. Turns out the tire has a huge screw in it. They repaired it for less than $13 and it took less than 15 minutes. The mechanic who helped me was very polite and respectful. I highly recommend them to my friends! read more

Not trustworthy!!!! Purchased a battery here two years ago and came out to it dead this morning. Ernest checked it and LIED!!! Said it was all good it must have been MY fault. I went to AutoZone and they said its a BAD battery!!! These guys are scumbags! They will rip you off!! Do not trust!! read more
