Stopped in just before the lunch rush and I thought this spot was pretty tasty. I like the casual atmosphere and that you can order your food at the counter but they deliver it to your table. We tried this place when they first opened and it was ok. We decided to try again. I had 2 grilled fish tacos. It was excellent! They had plenty of fish in them. The sauce they had on the taco's was very good. I thoroughly enjoyed them. My husband had Al Pastor tacos without cilantro. His taco's were tasty. You can eat inside or out. Clean and delicious. We decided to try this place , made the mistake of going when they were closing didn't realize the time since it still said open with that said. The name is leading as it's not a bar, it is a small restaurant. They took our order even though technically they were closed and they gave me something I didn't order so I couldn't even complain about it. We asked for jalapeño and salsa on the side an they forgot to give it to us also forgot our drink. The flavor was ok again it wasn't what I ordered I asked for Sopes. If they were closed they shouldn't have taken the order especially since we weren't given good service it was like here go. Might give it a try next time we're in the area. read more

We walked in and were greeted by a super nice young lady. We ordered at the counter, a chicken enchilada combo & a beef enchilada combo. It came with rice & your choice of black or pinto beans. Our order came to our table by our number stand we received. The food came out pretty fast. The rice was cooked perfectly, black beans were good but could have used some salt. The chicken enchiladas were very good with green sauce & lots of chicken. The beef was good, but the chicken was better. The plates were plastic, which I'm not fond of. Our food was brought out by another sweet young lady. Which I believe are twins. Both very pleasant! Forgot to take photos of the food because it looked so good & we hungry. The place is very clean. Some of the carne asada pieces were a little fatty and chewy, but I only got a few like that. It was very busy inside when I picked up the order. Overall, a solid burrito. #1 Service- the young female server that took our order was pleasant and quick with serving everything in our order. #2 Food-Excellent! We all enjoyed our meal. One had the shrimp torta, two had burritos, and I had the 3 quesabirria tacos. We also got a generous portion of chips and salsa. Homemade and crisp chips and salsa was smooth with a good amount on spices, however, on the mild side. Everyone devoured their meal. My tacos were amazing. The meat was tender and juicy and the tacos were fried to a nice crisp. On the inside of the tacos there was gooey melted cheese (jack?), small diced onions, and finely diced cilantro. It included a side of consommé juice to dip the tacos in. It was just the right amount of hot. Where the temp stayed the same till the last bite. I know a good taco and it usually has to do with if I've touched my drink much till the end of the meal! I hardly did! Yumma!! We thanked the cooks and servers and tipped well. Front first glance you can tell is popular from all the people eating inside and outside. They had a $2 taco Tuesday and so I decided to have some tacos, I ordered an Al pastor, carnitas and Chile verde taco. All were delicious, my husband had 3 of the Al pastor and he also liked them. A couple and a woman that ordered after me got their meals.I asked the man working What happened to my food he walked away and came right back and said that he had given mine to the lady who ordered after me then he walked away again. What a gem in an otherwise underwhelming shopping center! I'm so thankful for Yelp, otherwise I wouldn't have discovered this place. The vibe is super casual and the interior is small with a large kitchen and long bar with lots of counter seating. The staff is super friendly and attentive. We were greeted immediately & placed our order soon after. We both got the street tacos entree which comes with 3 tacos, rice and beans. My husband also got a burrito bowl and we ordered 2 horchata which were excellent btw, a total treat. The tacos are good. We have tried this new restaurant 3 times now so I'm going yo review it. There is outdoor patio seating, usually shady because of the south orientated building. Inside seating and a bar area. Small place, cute decor, bar, tables. First time I ordered some carnitas tacos. Good but the taco shells are the small ones, not normal size you usually get so I was disappointed based on paying a normal taco price. I also ordered the chile verde plate and loved it. Next time I ordered chicken nachos and chile verde plate and a cheese quesadilla. All good. Dec 14 I ordered 2 chile verde plates. At pick up there was one do he had to correct it and I had to wait. I expected something extra for my trouble but nothing was thrown in. Total $39. Sadly this time I got home and there was no delicious verde sauce on my pork! Really a bummer! Love verde sauce! Review would be 4 stars if not for the Dec 14th visit. The main guy. Manager or Owner, , IDK was on top of things. Training a new female server who seemed overwhelmed. Ok, maybe I shouldn't have tried fish and chips at a Mexican restaurant? It was terrible! I thought they are almost at the coast, it'll be good. The cashier said they were good. It was like the pieces of fish were in brown paper. Just not good. My wife had the carnitas burrito- great! My daughter had fish tacos, ok, they were cold. And the reason is because the food sits there until she gets free from taking orders to deliver food to your table! Overall just stick to tacos and burritos and you'll be fine.
