The food ! The Service ! The atmosphere ! The perfect blend. We loved the Ahi Ceviche and the Quesabirria (braised beef). A hidden treasure that you shouldn't miss. I don't post much, but Fuego inspired me even before we left the restaurant to provide a review. Thank you ! See you again soon.

Ribeye with garlic bread and corn with roasted peppers in cream sauce

Small intimate location with dishes that pack alot of flavor. We were seated promptly, but seating could be tricky if they are busy. The timing was a little off due to them being short-staffed, but they brought out house-made chips and salsa to hold us over. Beverage options include, soda, beer, and wine. We ordered the Enchiladas Verdes de Pollo, that did not disappoint. The chicken came from their rotisserie chicken, and had a perfectly balanced green sauce. Along with this item, elote corn and their macaroni and cheese. The corn is fresh, coated in cheese, and comes with tajin seasoning. The macaroni and cheese had a creamy cheese sauce that really gave the dish its own voice. The steak dish was perfect. Cooked to a perfect medium temp the steak was juicy, and flavorful. The steak came with a small side of chimichurri that really set off a flavor bomb. The corn and poblano side dish was excellent, while the garlic bread had alot to be desired. I look forward to revisiting and trying some of their seafood dishes.

    Ribeye with chilaquiles and rice

Let's talk hospitality first. Our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. She was prompt with our drinks and our food was brought out pretty quickly. She checked on us and was very attentive. Now let's talk food. My husband ordered the Ribeye with chilaquiles and rice. His steak was cooked to perfection and everything was very tasty. He would order it again. I got the Ribeye with corn and roasted pasilla peppers in a cream sauce and onion rings. Let me tell you the corn was to die for! So tasty! I will definitely order that again! The steak was tasty and cooked to perfection. The onion rings were delicious, just needed a little salt. The dining room is on the smaller side so get here early! They do have a bar you can sit at and have sports on... which we appreciated. I highly recommend this place!

Service is wonderful, tasty mac n cheese! Friday evening music was bumping from next doors live band. My older mother said it was annoyingly loud. However, the rest of our group were ok with it :)

We went to Fuego on a early (4:15pm) Valentine's Day, and there were only 2 other couples there, although, it was early. We were served by a very competent, friendly young man, who spent just the right amount of time at our table, which, was by the window. It is a nicely decorated restaurant with a bar, that appeared to only serve beer and wine, and took up a good amount of space in the restaurant, but it definitely, along with the wood decor, gives the place a distinctive upscale bar vibe. The menu has some pretty interesting options, including mole, enchiladas, and chilaquiles . But also has nachos, burgers, fries, and Mac and cheese amongst a whole host of other offerings. The food was served in a timely fashion, and the food tasted fine, but not overwhelming. The Chicken mole being a better option than the chilaquiles. But the food was good enough to make us want to come back and try some of the other options. This place makes a fine addition to the Atown restaurant scene.

    Parillada for two
    Jr M.

We had a delicious early dinner this past weekend at Fuego. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable, and gave us lots of time to look at all the menu choices. We chose the Parrillada for two and everything on our plate was delicious. The steak was cooked perfect medium rare, and the rotisserie chicken fell off the bone. It was accompanied by corn and potatoes and corn tortilla quesadilla. The price was very reasonable for this amount of food, and was more than enough for the two of us. The restaurant has dark wood with a very rich atmosphere, reminiscent of a fine steakhouse. We highly recommend this restaurant

We are big fans of Habaneros in Paso Robles and this is their sister restaurant. We thought we would try Fuego and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious! Our favorite so far was the Quesabirria Tacos ". They were outstanding! The portions are big and the food delicious. The Picanha with chimichurri was really good too as was their Mac and cheese. It was yummy and not too cheesy. The ambiance is very nice. It's an intimate restaurant with a nice vibe and the service excellent. Their Michelina's are huge and also excellent. If you're looking for a new place to dine, I would say to give this place a try. It won't disappoint. We will definitely be back.

    Mole enchiladas.
    Don M.

First timer. Got the mole enchiladas and a steak. Place is a bit cramped but nice atmosphere. Server was attentive and friendly. Enchiladas were excellent! Mole did not taste canned, and had a wonderful flavor. Three big enchiladas, stuffed with cheese and chicken with that tasty mole sauce. It was warm, but not hot, which took a bit away. The steak with chimchurri was perfectly cooked and flavorful. It was served on top of mashed potatoes and asparagus that were fresh and buttery. The only concern I had was the steak had a very large strip of fat. I understand fat and flavor go together and I have catered bbq before so I understand the cap and all but this was a lot of fat. Still a very good meal overall. Probably would not do the steak and I'd like to try more of the menu, as it looks appealing and I understand they are just getting started.

Stopped in on Valentine's Day and LOVED everything we tried!! Guac appetizer, Taco Trio & Lobster Mac & cheese was our favorite. Friendly staff & Owner. We will definitely be returning.

Yummy new place in Atascadero. Chicken mole' enchiladas were to die for! Excellent! Service was quick and efficient. Beers were ice cold. We'll be back...the only bummer was I left my to go box there!! :(

First with the positives, this place is very big inside, they offer plenty of seating for large groups, and also have a very nice bar area. Now on to the negatives. Upon arrival we were greeted by... no one, we walked into the seating area and found a worker who said that we could sit anywhere we like. The place was almost completely empty except for one couple. We were brought chips and salsa and menus and we not interacted with again for about 8-10 minutes. No waters or anything. Finally when our waiter did get our order, we finally received waters. I honestly felt like an inconvenience. I ordered the shrimp burrito. When it arrived I was pretty surprised with how sad it looked. Literally just a burrito on a plate. No sauce or no cheese on top, no garnish nothing. Very disappointing. Nothing like the other pictures posted. And 19 dollars! My wife's plate looked presentable. Flavor was just ok. They definitely need to work on presentation as well as consistency. For 54+ dollars, I wouldnt return.

Good for casual dates, girls or guys' nights, and large groups. We were told that tonight (Friday) at 9:30 a DJ will be coming in and there'll be karaoke on their stage, which we'll have to check out another time. All-in-all, a solid dining experience and excellent service.

We have eaten grilled and fried fish tacos and the fish and chips. All the dishes are filling and satisfying. The fish tacos have a nice helping of shredded cabbage and sauce. Seemed like you could park in the other lot on the north with the human bean coffee shop, and walk across the cute connecting bridge that brings you to this lot in front of TJ. Anyway, it was nice and cozy inside, with counter to grab seafood or order some food. Inside had maybe 4 or so tables, while outside had many more. First went outside after ordering, but it was quite windy chilly so went back inside:) Had checked out the menu ahead of time, so ordering was easy. Tall young man was super friendly. Even brought out the food to the table when ready. - Fish n Chips = was so crispy and fresh, absolutely delicious and kid ate it up. plenty of fries too that we all could share - Fish tacos = got one grilled, one fried. Of course fried tastes better, but grilled was great as well. Covered in cabbage and special sauce. The sauce was excellent and addictive, easily defeated all the cabbage. And the fresh fish pieces in these were huge/thick, just awesome. The salsa that came on the side I guess is for the tortilla chips, since the taco had that special sauce on it, so no need salsa on it to detract from the special sauce. The tortilla chips seemed to be fresh cut and fried in house, was so crunchy good, especially when get a chip with a bit of salt on it. - Salmon salad = this was fantastic as well. Generous salmon pieces and the balsamic glaze was perfect with salmon and salad. I guess 2 of the salmon pieces were the skin, which was the best part! Such a delicous way to get your omega 3!!! With so many places to try, sadly only got to eat here once, but it was up there as a memorable meal, A+! And allows for you to walk off your fullness at TJ afterward, just perfect.

The red sauces always seem to give me heartburn, so I thought Id try the Rosemary Chicken. It was undercooked, the mashed potatoes tasted like instant-absolutely no flavor whatsoever-and the roasted broccolini was so hard and crunchy it might as well have been raw. I took most of the chicken home and after cooking it at 350 for 20 minutes it was tolerable. My husband's butternut squash ravioli was a much better choice, and since it was so rich he could only eat half of it, I got to take it home and have it for lunch the next day. So far, it's the only thing on the menu that has lived up to expectations. Really, is it so hard to make a traditional Italian dish? A good plate of spaghetti with meat sauce would be a welcome addition. Or a good Pasta Primavera. And how about a lasagna that actually has filling? I wish their chef de cuisine would take a trip to Italy and learn how to prepare real Italian cuisine. This is pathetic.
