2 bowls of menudo.. what a shame.
    Matthew G.

I'm very honest with my reviews and I promise I will NEVER come back to this place again. I ordered two bowls of menudo and I was overcharged. The elder lady at the cashier explained that current menu given to customers is NOT updated with price they have in their register. The order of two $8.00 bowls shouldn't have totaled $26.07. Can't force an ignorant cashier to credit back a charge, she even blamed her own staff saying "not my fault she's new" take your money else where!!!

We ordered a quesadilla, tacos, and sopes Out food was delicious, especially the quesadilla. I wasn't a fan of the horchata water It didn't taste authentic. Everything else was delicious.

Did not like at all. I ordered some green salsa chilaquiles. Was sooo salty. And it tasted like can green sauce. Not home made at all. Horchata was too sweet. Too much lechera. The was place was lonely. Many people came in, but left do to lack of service. Not good place to eat.

They're known for their Huge corn tortilla Quesadillas You can add your choice of meat .

Best quesadillas in town fully loaded . Your choice of meat . This place serves your traditional Mexican "aguas frescas" along with beer or a chabella. Definitely my new place to grub on the go. Quick and convenient.

I'm honestly really disappointed. I came here because it had 5 stars on google maps and let me tell you it wasn't 5 stars. I walked up and it was kinda sketch to begin with but I was hungry so I continued. I order my food and waited way to long for the amount of people in there, which was only 2 other couples who had ordered before we got there. More people come in and order and get their food before us. Almost all of the tables were full with dishes from previous guests and there was no chips and salsa. I then get my food and there's literally no meat on my tacos. I ordered no onions and one of them looks like they picked the onions off where the other doesn't look like they bothered. Another thing, don't try to get nachos cause they don't have them.

She was incredibly patient in explaining the menu and took the time to describe each dish and its unique features, which was extremely helpful for first-time visitors like us. My friend was interested in a dinner item, and Angelica went above and beyond by kindly checking with the kitchen to see if it could be prepared for us during lunch. The food was great, but Angelica's outstanding service made the experience truly memorable. Her friendliness, knowledge, and willingness to help made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back and recommending Sun of Wolf to our friends and family.

On this occasion, we came here on a Friday evening, we had made reservations for 6 of us. I personally ordered the agua fresca-pineapple and the lasagna. We ordered 2 chips and salsa for the table and the others ordered, arugula salad, tacos de carnitas, mahi mahi tacos, hamachi tostadas and drinks such as the spicy tamarindo, mocktail and margarita. Everyone loved their selections. One of my friends ordered the chocolate tart and the chocolate was too rich for my liking but the mousse that accompanied it was soo good, very tart and tropical. This restaurant is on California Ave., no restaurant parking but there is street parking nearby, although not on this street since its closed off to vehicle traffic. There is also a parking lot and a parking garage nearby. Once you eat, you can take a nice stroll down the Ave. Check online for details but once a month, on Thursdays, the city helps to sponsor a Thursday Live events with music, giveaways and games. Even without the Thursday Live events...this restaurant is a must if you are in the area.

The Good: * A small private lot, as well as street parking, is available. * Reservations via their website * Outdoor, dog-friendly seating * Great bar program with signature cocktails and a nice selection of local brews on tap * Small, curated menu that changes seasonally * Great service from our server, Jayleen * Costillas de Elote (aka corn ribs) may seem like a nothing dish, but man, it was bursting with flavor and was one of the (many) highlights of the night * The Carne en su Jugo was a great riff on a classic French cassoulet, but with a Mexi kick in flavor * I couldn't resist the Duck Mole dish, as it featured two of my favorite foods in one savory and delicious plate. The confit duck leg was fantastic and fell off the bone, and the sweet and savory chocolate mole was the perfect foil. However, to me, the unheralded star of the dish was the fried masa brick, done up like a classic potato pavé, which deserves a special shoutout * For dessert, their rendition of Tres Leches cake was fantastic! The crispy turulete (corn-based cookie) on top gave a nice crunch to go along with the sweet cake, and the tart notes from the green apples really tied it all together for a complex and delicious dessert The Meh: * Happy Hour (Wed-Sat, 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m., and all day on Sun) menu and drinks are limited to the bar area only * Only open for dinner * As many have noted, the neighborhood is a little sus, but honestly, it's not that bad. Just lock your car (as you should everywhere these days), and you'll be fine--I promise The Ugly: * The number of people I know--or have seen online--who hate on elevated Mexican cuisine is kinda crazy. As if only French or American cuisines are allowed to be fancy--it's honestly a bunch of bullshit. If anything, LUNA has shown for years now that it can be done, and Acopio continues in that vein Conclusion: I had high expectations coming in, and Acopio met or exceeded every one of them. I'm a bit surprised they haven't received a nod from the Michelin Guide yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if one is in the works at some point in the future. Highly recommended.

I wouldn't recommend coming with a large group unless you have a reservation. I ordered the duck and was high surprised at how delicious it was. The outside was crispy with a soft and flavorful inside. Of all the appetizers we tried I would highly recommend the corn. As for dessert I wasent blown away by anything but they do offer a cilantro ice cream was that was unique. It didn't taste exactly like cilantro but it wasent bad

Super clean, modern interior of the restaurant. Fairly empty on a Sunday night, slightly busier in the day time.
