Johanna was either going to make this an amazing experience or brake it for me. As soon as I walked in Johanna greeted me with a friendly warm smile. Right away making me feel comfortable and relaxed. She asked me if I had ever been waxed before and made sure she explained in detail what I should expect. Made sure I understood this was my body and if at anytime I decided not to proceed to just let her know. She went over basic breathing exercises and I won't lie as comfortable as she made me feel, I was still terrified. After she pulled the 1st strip the process went nice and smooth. I will definitely be back, I definitely recommend everyone to see Johanna, specially for all those who have never been wax and are terrified. Your 1st time should always be with a person who take their time to make sure you are as comfortable as possible and provide you with all the information you need during and after the process. Until recently, our experiences were consistently positive. Unfortunately, since the management change, the level of customer service has become unacceptable and declined significantly. I recently spoke directly with the manager Dilai regarding a concern, I expected professionalism, active listening and a willingness to resolve the issue but instead the experience was extremely disappointing. Rather than listening and trying to understand the issue, she repeatedly interrupted and kept repeating the same statements without addressing what I was actually saying. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. The conversation was frustrating, dismissive, and completely unproductive. What made the situation even more concerning was that, despite our long history as customers, the staff seemed unfamiliar with us and were asking basic questions about my daughters that should have already been understood in the context of our relationship with the center. The manager Dilai also promised to call me back, but never followed through. A simple follow-up is a basic expectation of customer service, especially when a manager personally commits to it. Failing to do so only reinforced the feeling that customer concerns are no longer valued. The most disappointing part is that this was not a one-time interaction with a front-desk employee, it was my experience with the manager Dilai herself. Leadership sets the standard for customer service, and based on this experience, that standard has fallen dramatically. Loyal customers are the foundation of any successful business. We deserve to be listened to, treated with respect, and have our concerns acknowledged. Sadly, that was not my experience. I sincerely hope ownership takes a closer look at what is happening under the current management because the difference is noticeable, and not in a positive way.
