Super great place! A gem in our neighborhood for sure! Beer and wine with a lovely menu of appetizers and meals. They offer flights of wine and 3 course meals! Quiet and perfect!!

Off the Vine Bistro and Wine Bar is located just a block northeast of Hwy 6 in Missouri City. This cozy little wine bar is like a home away from home. It's the perfect place to enjoy a Save & Exit glass of wine and good eats with family and friends. Off the Vine Bistro is family owned - and that is very clear the moment you walk through the door. Every time I visit, I am always greeted with a large smile and welcoming conversation. I highly recommend you ask your server to find out what they recommend pairing with your vittles. They will not steer you wrong. And that's a fact! You'll always find scratch cooking here at Off the Vine Bistro. Their home-grown spices, along with locally-sourced and produced food, are the perfect recipe for a delightful dish. If you like fresh, then you need to come and see what fresh tastes like. For real! Off the Vine Bistro and Wine Bar is so much more than a place to get a wonderful meal - they also offer cooking classes and wine-paired dinners once a month. I like that! If you are looking for a place to kick back and finish off your week, their Sunday Brunch has healthy, flavorful options with carefully-selected ingredients for palates with food restrictions and allergies. This is definitely a designation for those who need to pay attention to what they eat. If you love live music, then I am about to add another layer to this cake. They have live music every Saturday night - brought to you by local community performers in a variety of different genres: jazz, rock 'n roll and pop covers. A good time to be had by all! Now, if you have been following me for any length of time, then you know I can't visit a wine bar without ordering up a Charcuterie & Cheese Board... it would just be sacrilegious! Right? So, that is exactly what I did! Our gracious server paired this piece of art with a Pinot Noir from Santa Barbara - one of my favorites with a beautiful floral and mineral character typical of Santa Barbara Pinot Noir. I instantly had a smile from ear to ear! The Hangover Fries caught my attention as I was thinking about all the pairing I'd be doing that evening. Maybe I should just take them to go... tomorrow would be coming waaay to soon! Ha! The House Chips were piled high with onions, tomato, cilantro, grated cheese, sour cream and grilled chicken - the perfect medicine for a sour stomach after a long night of leisure and laughter. The combination of flavors is something else! The menu is all so good, but you gotta try these potato sticks with a blanket of naturally-sourced love! The Appetizer Sampler Plate is another must-try here at Off the Vine Bistro and Wine Bar. You get to pick any 4 appetizers (half portions). We chose the Bacon-Wrapped Shrimp (of course), Lettuce Wraps, Spiced Meatballs and Mama's Spiced Chicken Bites. Wow! The spread was beautiful. I thought I would try a selection of apps and then I'd know exactly what to order the next time around- turned out I wasn't any better off than I was when I started. Everything was just so good! I think I will just have to order the sampler again. I suggest you do the same. Another favorite of mine is the Summer Sausage Flatbread. This flat bread was carefully crafted with Summer Sausage slices, cheese, apples, onions and fennel. This sandwich is a great option if you are looking for something light. You get a mouthful of crispy crust in the first bite and then you taste the sausage, cheese and apple combination that just pulls it all together. Now, I have a soft spot for a nice Cuban Sandwich, so when I noticed it on the menu I had to try it. This pressed sandwich was covered with smoked ham, Swiss cheese, mustard and pickles. We cut it up to share with the group, but I figured out right away that this was a mistake; I have been thinking about that outstanding sandwich ever since. The mustard and pickles gave that excellent accent to the smokiness in the ham. This sandwich might be my favorite of the day... it's just too hard to say. But, do try! And, just when I thought I couldn't eat another bite, two desserts showed up! Not a surprise... my friends have just as big a sweet tooth as I do. I never turn down a sweet, sweet, decadent dessert - don't ya know? My love of Chocolate Cake started as an infant. My first cake was a Triple-Decker Chocolate Castle. I gotta say, this dark hunk of sweetness brought me back to when times were a little simpler. This Chocolate Cake slice with Chocolate Filling and Chocolate Ganache took me to chocolate heaven! What an Ahhmazing experience here at Off the Vine Bistro and Wine Bar. You walk in as a customer and leave as a part of the family. Don't be shy to ask the owner Namita about her spices and recipes - she has a wealth of knowledge and is eager to share. I am so happy I found this little gem in in Missouri City... and even happier that I can share it with you! Enjoy!

    SAD TURKEY SANDWICH!
    Felix F.

Horrible! If you value your time, DONT GO. I walked in ordered, was told 10-15 minutes..... I thought ok 6 turkey sandwiches... fast forward 55 minutes later!!!! 6 sandwiches with 2 pieces of bread and a piece of turkey! WHAT THE??? This had to either be deliberate (doubt that) or incompetence (that sounds likely). Everyone there was upset and the wait! Don't know if they saw there food when they got home! Take a look at my sad sandwich! Never Again!

Had an amazing authentic Belgian waffle at Off the Vine Bistro. Just the right amount of crunch! It was so good I ordered another! Service and atmosphere was fantastic!

    Bacon wrapped dates
    Kristen S.

We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere but it's a bit overpriced. Half a bottle of wine cost $20 and the bacon wrapped dates, while great, were on the small side for a $9 appetizer. The staff could've been more attentive. We sat with empty plates and glasses for twenty minutes. The food and wine were delicious enough to give it another chance soon.

If you didn't know this little cafe was there you would miss it, tucked in the corner of a strip shopping center. Wine selection is great. Food wise they have something for everyone from small shareable plates to main courses. We tried the buffalo burger w lots of fresh toppings, the caprese sandwich w raspberry jam on it and a pasta dish that was the winner of the night! Will definitely go again. Meet the owner who was super nice and explained their monthly 7 course wine pairing dinners.

The location was really nice, the private room was great and the vibes were awesome. Unfortunately, my experience with Nikki Harris, who is also listed as a general manager, has been the complete opposite. For months, I have been asking how I can actually receive my wines, and I have the emails to prove it. I never received a single response or clear direction. The whole communication around this has been terrible. When Nikki finally did reply, it was with a rude and dismissive message, one that I've attached here for transparency, without ever acknowledging my prior outreach. This is not the way paying customers should be spoken to or treated, especially when they have been spending money and not able to get clarity on their products. I had already canceled my membership before this exchange, but had I not, I certainly would have afterward. Her tone and lack of professionalism were unacceptable, and it made clear to me that she does not understand what respectful customer service looks like. She also had to backtrack on her email without even knowing the facts. The worst! I understand that closures and operational challenges happen, but respect and clear communication should never be optional. Unfortunately, Nikki Harris demonstrated neither.

Arielle took the time to explain each wine in detail, from its origin to its flavor profile, making sure we all better understood our own preferences and are able to order/ buy wines more confidently in the future. I left feeling like I had learned so much about wine, and for weeks have been telling everyone I know they must go learn from Everywine! When my friend made the reservation, she received an email encouraging customers to visit the tasting room before or after dinner. We showed up an hour early to visit the tasting room, however the host had no idea what we were talking about. Turns out they weren't doing tastings. Luckily, we didn't have to wait to be seated. We initially had a table that was not near a heat lamp, however an employee came over and let us know that we could switch to a table near the heat lamp which was appreciated because it was chilly. Our server was Laura. She was nice and funny. They had $25 flight specials. I went with the Sayanara Flight which had white wines. I really enjoyed them and they weren't too sweet. My friend had an NA wine which she enjoyed. We ordered the Truffle Fries and Meatballs. Both dishes were tasty. I enjoyed the aioli that came with the fries. They had discounted wines for purchase. Not all bottles were 50% off, however the gentleman that we spoke to went ahead and gave me a 50% discount on both the rosé and pinot grigio that I purchased which was so appreciated! It seems like there are quite a few businesses around town that are closing. I'm sad to see Mutiny go, but I'm glad my friend and I got to dine in on their final night.

I often pass by it going through a shortcut to I-45 and sometimes going home around the area. It's literally a 5-minute drive. I booked reservations Friday since I saw they opened up the 31st on Resy. It wasn't earlier in the week, but I knew it was the last day, and my friend and I really wanted to try. I'm glad we made reservations because they were at capacity (150 person capacity) and weren't taking any walk ins. We got there early cause Resy suggested checking out the Tasting Room before or after the reservation time. We got there about an hour earlier, and the host said he didn't know anything about that except that the Tasting Room area was used for events. Interesting. We were seated earlier on the patio on this freezing evening. At first, we were at a table that didn't have a heat lamp, but when one freed up, they were so nice to suggest that we move closer to the heat lamp since they saw us shivering. Lol. We were thankful for that. I wore fleece lined jeans and brought gloves and a beanie anyway having been in the below freezing winter in London. Laura was our server and was kind and funny. So was this other guy who checked in every now and then. He made light of their last day situation. The dining area is so beautiful inside. I love the limestone-looking interior and chandeliers. Reminds me of Fredericksburg or something. They had many large groups and a few small groups of friends or couples dining on this last day. Way to go out with a bang. A lot of the wines were selling out or already sold out around 7-8 pm. We tried the truffle fries and Sicilian meatballs with focaccia bread. I like the thick cut of the fries and the black garlic aioli. It reminded me of yuca fries. The Sicilian meatballs were a bit small, peppery and salty. I wish the marinara was a little more tart. The focaccia helped cut through the saltiness. I had 2 glasses of the NA Sauvignon blanc which was light and a little tart. They ran out of the NA red blend. My friend ordered Sayonara, one of their farewell flights which were aptly named for "goodbye". It was a great night on the patio but chilly. My friend purchased a rosé and a Pinot Grigio as part of their Last Sail wines. Actually, the Pinot Grigio wasn't part of the sale, and he was going to take off 20%, but he also made it 50% off. So nice!! I'm glad we got to try them on their last day. Bon voyage, Mutiny.
