The overall experience is nice. However, we had the expectation that this was a winery and brewery. It has a heavy focus on indoor and outdoor event space with a limited, yet curated, bar selection. There are promotional materials for Running Walker Beer and Braman wines but these are not offered. I would suggest updating the description of the space to reflect bar and event space. My date and I arrived a little after 8pm on a Saturday evening. There was plenty of parking available and we loved the atmosphere! Outside, there is plenty of seating available and indoors, several high tops and couches. When you walk in, the first bar to the left is where the wine is served. The bar across the way is for beer. There was live music the evening we went and the band was great! I would go back just to see the band and enjoy a drink. We both opted for beer and I really enjoyed the local draft I selected. The music was loud enough to enjoy, but not too loud that we could still enjoy our conversation. Looks like a great place to host an event too. I would love to return! read more

Great venue! We had a group of 11. They have long tables inside able to fit big groups and also smaller tables. One side of the brewery is beer and the other side is wine. The ceilings are tall and the decor is true Texas! We went on a Saturday. There was a live one man band. He was really good! I was surprised the Chardonnay wine was so good. I usually don't care for Chardonnay. It was clean and buttery. I tried a couple of the light beers. Both were very good. We all enjoyed our day at the brewery. The weather was spotty all day with rain, so we could not spend any time outside (plus it was too hot), but the outdoor area is calling me back. There no lack of seating at this place; indoor or outdoor! The service was great and the energy was relaxed. There was a food truck on-site, but I'm not sure what they serve. This is a great place to have local wine and beer. They have a large patio area out front and the patio is also pet friendly. It was my first time here, we had a corgi group Corgsgiving here and they do allow outside food. Although they do not allow pets inside, the indoor area is quite nice plus, they have musicians playing live music. Their beer menu is varied, you can also book events there. They had a wedding hosted their while we were there. Their register did have issues but I was able to pay for my drink eventually. I enjoyed my beer. They had a food truck, El Caton that served pizza and the wood fired oven smelled great from the patio. There's ample parking and the service was friendly. The restrooms were clean inside. I absolutely adore this place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is relaxed and cozy. They also have great selections of wine and beer. When we went they had live music which was very pleasant. We also noticed that they have a space to rent out for events, there was a wedding going on whilst there. They don't serve food but there is a yummy food truck outside and you can eat outside or inside. I loved that they had an axe throwing experience right outside, it was so much fun. So yesterday was a nice day so after a lite late lunch, decided to go too two local wineries in the north Richmond area. I will only say of our first stop, that it was not our favorite in set up or wines. So on to Braman. My wife had never been and I had only been here once about 4 yrs ago. I had a Malbec and she had the cab blend. Both were very good. For her 2nd glass, she stuck to the blend, but I ventured to their Riesling. I prefer a drier than theirs, but it was still very good. We had a pizza from the food truck and it was good to. It's a big place so bring everyone or just the two of you, seating of all types and live music. Nice winery, great decor, plenty of cubbies to sit in from fun tables to comfy sofas. There is a beer side where you can sample and get three beers for $15 and an additional wine side where they have a flight of five wines for $20. Staff were well versed in everything they were serving and great with the customers. There is a food truck onsite, but you can bring in food from anywhere. What a cool building, and great service. Unfortunately it seems they no longer have their own beers (all national brands in tap) and they are phasing out their own wines. We were super excited to find this place, but disappointed with the beer selection and the fact that they do not mention in their website or social media that they are changing their business model. Visiting a good friend in Rosenberg gave us the opportunity to bask in all the Braman glory! Once we walked in, there were so many "Wow, its so pretty in here" "OMG how cute!" "Oh, did you see that table!?" "This place is a lot bigger than I thought". The decor definitely has your eyes wandering around to see more. As a first timer I clearly went straight for the pick 5 wine tasting. The last one on my list turned out to be my favorite Braman wine. So the next time I go I know I'll be getting a full glass of the Cabernet/Zinfandel and a bottle to go. The kind lady behind the bar gave us generous pourings. Maybe because she is in nursing school and I am a nurse; clearly nurse vibing. Haha, one would hope that was the reason but, we didn't establish that fact until after the 3rd taster. For those that don't dabble in wine then head on over to the brewery side. They have a decent list of beers to choose from and our men were not left out =). Have a big group!? Then bring them on over! Plenty of seating and tables for big groups. Loved this place. Not a ton of people but the vibe was nice and the outdoor setup made it that much more perfect.

I absolutely loved this place! I had my wedding reception here and it turned out amazing. The barrel room is so beautiful it didn't even need that much decor and our bartenders were so sweet and helpful! This was a fun place to join friends on a Spring Saturday. The staff members were all great: friendly and helpful. The wines were tasty. It's worth noting that it's no longer a brewery so all the beers are from other labels. It was our understanding that the same was about to happen for the wines. The food trucks provided options that were so-so. The décor and atmosphere of this place is amazing. Plenty of inside and outside seating for friends gathering and wanting to hang out and chill. They allow you to bring in your own games and food while also having a Pizza Food Truck Outside. The pizza was really good and enjoyable. Plenty of their own beers on tap for a those who do not drink wine. The biggest problem I had was their is a very limited wine selection as many of the wines on the menu were "coming soon". If you are a sweet wine person this is not the place for you as there was only one wine available. For those who like Cider they had a Pear Cider and Dragon Fruit Cider which were both nice tasting. We had a great time. Large building with lot of patio seating and the possibility of live music. Inside is very tall ceiling with several seating options. We sat towards the restrooms between the two reserved rooms. It was a great spot that's not too loud. Wine options change so be aware. For example they no longer carry Tempranillo and we're out of the mimosa. I opted for the wine tasting which is a lot of wine! This is a good way to try all of their wines however you can ask for a small taste and they will let you try it before you commit. I highly suggest the Syrah! Best wine they have! Was not a fan of the Cabernet and I usually love Cabernets. Anyway my husband had a glass of the IPA and thought it was good. You can choose a flight of beer and get a wristband which gets you 3 beers. He opted for just one as 3 is a lot. While I wants crazily impressed with the wine (all grapes are outsourced) I would come back and get only a glass. They did note they can change out wines often. Great place to spend a few hours with friends. Food trucks pull up outside. A flamenco guitarist setup from 3-5 and was FANTASTIC! He really made the ambiance very enjoyable. Note for those doing the wine tasting: they won't let you have something twice so just be prepared. We coaxed them otherwise cause the Syrah is but in case they don't let you don't hold it against them. It's because each is priced differently. Go give it a try! Bathrooms: they're fine but i did expect them to match all of the other decor and they are empty. Just white. I think they could make that a bit nicer. read more

There was a food truck outside but we brought our own snacks. Dog friendly outside only. Wine list is very limited. Maybe 6(?) types total wine, red, rose. A couple from the winery and a few store bought ones. We tried one of their reds and a standard store bought reisling. Their red was ok. We just enjoyed the ambiance and patio. I love this place! But I don't want to tell anyone because I want it to keep it's low key charm! Braman is the place I take my guests who are visiting from out of town. It's the best place that serves alcohol anywhere near Rosenberg. The inside is beautiful and the outside is chill. They have food trucks outside and some snacks inside. Their beer is really good and their red wine is good, I'm not a fan of the sweeter wines they offer but they are definitely something different. I love this place because you can easily satisfy a group of people, since some people might prefer wine or beer over the other. We hosted by husband's 29th birthday here and everyone from the inner loop was impressed, we are considering hosting his 30th birthday party here too! I was pleasantly surprised that there's a winery in Richmond as we were scavenging for places to spend time. Braman offers a selection of wine and beer, which made it very nice since I'm more of a wine drinker. The tasting was $20 for 5 wines. The portions were very generous.. so generous that I barely finished two glasses. Embarrassing, I know. Luckily, I can always count on someone to finish it for me! The taste was more exotic than I had originally imagined (I think one was named Pink Flamingo), and it took some time to get used to. I really wish there were sweeter options (I'm a big moscato drinker). Rustic, industrial, and masculine are three words that I would use to describe this place. There are TV's and deer heads mounted along the main wall, but it was a good enough balance to where people were still able to converse while watching a ball game. read more

We had a great afternoon at Braman Winery and Brewery. Despite the continuous rain that kept us inside, it was a great day. We had family members from Sugarland, Richmond, College Station and Sweeny and decided this may be a good central spot. We took snacks, our plates and plastic ware to share among our family members. Most adults had beer from the brewery offerings, a couple shared a bottle of wine. Everyone working was extremely nice and helpful. We were able to spread out on a long table while the youngsters claimed a sofa and chairs to watch the football games. I have only great things to say. The beer and wine were very reasonably priced and exceptional in taste, the service was superb, every thing was very clean, all inside were wearing masks and socially distancing....it was just perfect. I came here for a private event and absolutely loved the space! It's huge, rustic, and beautiful. We had the Zinfandel, Riesling, and Cabaranet - all were really nice. I LOVE this place. It is our local "Cheers" and weekend "go to" spot for live music and excellent craft beer. Their wine is also quite good. My favorites are the reds but have tried their Chardonnay which is good as well. I don't like sweet wines so haven't tried those. My favorite brews are the lagers and Pilsner's but their IPA's are very popular. Love the Secession beer! My favorite for sure. I would describe the place as an "upscale cool" vibe with "speakeasy" accents! Great gathering place for parties and events. You can bring in your own food or they have a great pizza food truck as a choice. Before 6 you can bring kids which is super fun for families. Staff are all great by my favorite is Kelly!! read more

We used to love coming here. Great atmosphere and awesome outdoor area to have our baby get some fresh air while we socialize. Their beer is okay, I've had much better all across Houston but their location is so close to my house made it more worth it. Inside area is super homey and we enjoyed coming here every Friday for happy hour. That being said this is the ONLY brewery I've ever been to (I've been to over 40) that doesn't have a DIAPER CHANGING STATION in EITHER restroom!!! Highly inconvenient with a 3 month old to have to walk all the way out to the car. Yesterday it was the first cold front and I had to change my poor baby in the back of my suv in the chilly weather. Their lack of preparation in this area ensures I won't ever be back until they install an area for parents to change their babies diapers. It isn't difficult and it's off-putting they don't have one. I came in with my coworkers on a holiday and this place had a pretty good crowd starting around 3-4 pm. There were barrels and a mountain of cases of beer. I guess they store their inventory right there. A wine bar was found closest to the door and the beer bar was located towards the back. I'm going to have to say I was tricked by the menu. There were flavored stouts such as red velvet, birthday cake, and cookies & cream. I was happy to give them a try since I was off of work early and it was happy hour. I bought each of these 3 flavors expecting them to taste as it said, but they all tasted about the same lol. I was disappointed.
