The only way to describe Jenn is amazing. My mom first found her when I fell severely ill, was quarantined in my apartment, and needed someone to run errands for me. She showed up on time, was kind, professional in appearance, and got everything done for me while I slept. I am physically handicapped and have needed more assistance recently due to an injury. Jenn has made herself available to do everything I need and has worked around my schedule to find a convenient time slot. She is extremely trustworthy; I have no problem handing her my credit card and ATM card and asking her to go various places and even to the bank for me. Jenn of Off Your Plate is amazing. She was my day of coordinator for my wedding. I did the planning with her and all of the other vendors. I made an elaborate list/timeline for her for set up, during the wedding and take down. I think one of the caterers took the list very early on in the set up process, but she still delivered beautifully. How did she stick to my anal time line without the list? One of her wonderful qualities is that she is very calm- almost seems laid back. But she will do anything and works to get every detail finished. She dropped off the favors, bowls, decor, etc. to my house the day after the wedding and offered to take the disposable cameras in to be developed while we where on our honeymoon. I refused because that just seems like too much. But she really wouldn't have minded. She gets things done. (Once when coming to look at my apartment for a project to install a washer/dryer she offered to take my recycling and trash down!). Regarding her price- she was the best value of all of my wedding vendors. And she gave me such peace of mind that all would be perfect without me having to lift a finger. We talked for a while and she gave suggestions as to how she could help me put more time in my day for me by letting her help. It's now been a number of months and it was something I had to get used to at first but now that she's a part of my life, it is an incredible gift. They are very diligent. We contacted this company as we needed help moving books that were stored with family and needed them shipped to Canada. Jenn was EXTREMELY helpful and coordinated absolutely everything! I was looking for a bed to purchase, finally upgrading from that futon and looked around on Craigslist trying to decide if I could find something better than Ikea. Jenn has done a fine job, helping our family clear and clean my eldest sister's house. It was a daunting task in terms of sheer quantity of projects that needed to be done. I found Jenn/Off Your Plate through Yelp earlier this year when I was looking for a personal assistant. I could not be more satisfied with her quality and professionalism, and that is key because an assistant in an extension of you. We now work together 2-3 hours week.
