I researched smaller independent companies in the Fort Lauderdale area. I hoped to receive more personalized service and created a short list. I made phone calls and inquired about computer replacement and configuration. When I called BBM Tech Computer Solutions the call was immediately answered by Brandon Mannie. I explained what I desired. He asked questions about the functions used on the computer. He listened and told me he would send me an eMail explaining hardware options in addition to options and suggestions. Immediately I made my decision to work with Brandon and BBM. We talked. I made a hardware decision. A acceptable bill of charges was presented to me. I agreed and the desktop replacement was initiated. I happily paid the deposit requested and Brandon acquired the new desktop computer. Off site he then preformed the necessary software loading and configurations. At the agreed upon date and time, Brandon arrived with the new hardware. He seriously worked moving the files from the old desktop to the new. He made sure the applications, profiles, related data and other necessary items were on the new computer and working properly. This computer exchange also included moving from Windows10 to Windows11. Brandon described some of the differences and was patience with the questions I had about this new operating system. I am most impressed by the professionalism and skills I experienced by BBM. I was encouraged to call them if I ever have questions. They are willing to do post installation support. Like I mentioned above, after more decades in the IT business, I am most impressed by BBM . If you have a computer issue or need to upgrade your system, contact this company and you will not be disappointed. I admit that I seldom recommend things from books to restaurants to motion pictures to anything, BUT I wholeheartedly will recommend BBM Tech Computer Solutions. BEST BUY UNDER REMODELING…read more. First time at this Davie Best Buy mega store. Walked to the rear of the store where they had most of the giant floor speakers and supplemental TV speakers. Some of the Best Buy locations have clearances on some of these items so you just gotta check in every week. This store had the strangest items that I have ever observed in a Best Buy. In the back right corner was a giant green lawnmower and about ten big boxes containing lawn equipment. Did Best Buy merge with Home Depot or Lowes? Maybe due to all the recent hurricanes. Loved the electric bicycles and scooters at $999 and up. Very cool but too pricey for me. The new Apple watches were on display with a variety of bands. The employee assisted me in this section. The wife has been wanting an upgrade. This store is well staffed unlike a few other locations. Cant wait to see this store after the remodel.

Which he sounded like he knows how to fix this problem so I was comfortable enough to leave my computer there over a couple days for them to send it out to their technicians to fix. However, the couple days turned into over the weekend and not sure if I will get it back by Monday. so I asked for the computer back, Dee said they find nothing really wrong with the video card but replacing the screen would be ideal since there's 2 lines there. I contemplated and agreed to let them fix the problem that didn't really bother me but since they suggested it, I guess it won't hurt. But, that's when it all go downhill from there. There's a wait for the part that's needed to fix the computer. Since I insist to keep the computer instead of leaving it at the store when they need to order the parts n wait for it to arrive to the store, they charged me $100 deposits in case I won't go back to let them fix the computer, but the part never came and they returned $60 to my credit card and kept the $40 for restocking fee or the tech to open my computer to check for issues? Also, they never call or notify me for returning the money or not able to fix my computer. I had to find that out through my credit card bill. Talk about unprofessionalism. So disappointed with them. I guess I will tell them how unhappy I'm with their service on Yelp would be the right thing to do since they don't want interaction with their customers. This is total scam to me. They open my computer saw nothing wrong but suggested I replace the screen yet the place they order parts from took forever n supposedly they never got the part, so they decided to charge me a fee because of what!?
