Worst Office Depot. I needed to purchase a USB C HP laptop charger. We walked into the store, the two employees at the front were laughing and talking, no one acknowledged us so we walked over to the desk and interrupted their conversation to ask where we could find the charger. Jose, one of the two chatty employees, replied with "oh we don't carry HP but we have a generic brand". So I asked Jose what aisle and he told me the chargers were on aisle 16. We walked over to aisle 16 which was all backpacks and binders. So we then walked back to the front to find Jose and told him he gave us the wrong aisle. His response was "uhh ohh ok I think then maybe Aisle 17?" So we walked to aisle 17 and alas, we found the charger! Funny enough, it was in fact a HP brand charger. Jose had stayed at the front to laugh and chat with his coworker instead of following us to assist. The charger was locked up so we then, again, had to walk back to fetch him to unlock the charger. I LOVE Office Depot, but I wasn't crazy with this one. I normally shop in the Office Depot located near La Canada, but since I was in Hollywood, my kids and I chose to try out this spot. There's free parking in a shared lot. Once inside, I noticed right away how much smaller and not as nice looking this Office Depot is in comparison to the one near La Canada. We found the HP ink cartridges we needed (about $30) and planners (various prices depending on the type of planner you purchase). Besides office supplies, you can also purchase some supplies like paper towels. With COVID-19 still around, you can purchase hand gel, masks, and thermometers. Checking out wasn't a very good experience because the young employee didn't exhibit very good customer service. I guess she was having a bad day. I asked her to contribute 5% of my qualified purchase to a school of my choice. She wasn't aware of this service. I explained that I ALWAYS do this in the Office Depot near La Canada. She FINALLY asked one of her coworkers for help and he instantly knew what I meant and taught her how to do it. I am also in their rewards program where I can earn VIP status and get 5% back in rewards on ink, toner, paper, and print/copy/ship services. I gave her my card and she didn't use my $2 off coupon. I was already to tired to deal with another issue, so we just left. I will use my $2 off in my favorite Office Depot located near La Canada. read more

Worst experience with an office depot ever! I usually love to spend my time in office depot and rely on them to get all my supplies. The office depot website had my printer ink listed for 72$ , when I went in person to purchase the ink my total came out to 100$... The lady at the register was beyond rude. She was pushing the rewards program onto me after I clearly stated "no, thank you" many times before. She was a young asian lady, I didn't catch her name. When I asked her how the total came out to such a high price and not what the website stated at all, she just told me the online prices are "different". So basically I got ripped off. Do yourself a favor and shop online or somewhere else instead, what a waste of money and time. read more

Totally recommend the print & copy services! I specifically liked being able to set up the order online, paying for it and picking it up for free. I did color copy prints to fight a parking ticket and it came out great! High quality! It was ~$.58 per page! I wanted the size of an 8.5 x 11 without ponying up for getting them developed as an actual photo--the city keeps everything as evidence. When I went to pick it up, I just went up to the next available woman at the front & told her what name it was under. She dug around and found it (mine was thin compared to other orders). I checked it out and they looked great. I did go use the self service station and each color print was $.68. I had one more photo I wanted to print after the fact. The paper stock was thinner (it could be user error) and the resolution wasn't great (could be user error as I emailed to print and selected small? Whichever was 161 kb). Definitely do it online and pick up! They were also ready with my order early - originally scheduled tomorrow at 6 pm but it was ready today within an hour. Granted it was only 5 pages! Terrible idea getting my important brochure books printed here. They make you upload everything online and send directions online but there's very few areas where you can ask for customization. When I arrived, everything was printed on single page papers and no one bothered to call to find out if that's how I wanted it. Total waste of money and time. read more

I didn't do much here but just to buy composition book. Which was what I did at the other 3 places. This one did not give me any problems which yes the Glendale one did. I got what I needed and no hassle. But I still think that They shouldn't give a limit to teachers for supplies since some or most of what we buy is for the kids. Great spot for finding ac variety of small storage and organizing containers. Maybe I have low expectations for a place like this, but I was surprised at all the one star reviews. We were in the neighborhood a couple days ago and needed some SD memory cards along with some other office supplies. Found this Office Depot and stopped in. Parking was a lucky strike as the parking lot shared with other businesses was in some kind of construction repair work. It was your typical Office Depot. Rows of shelves with assorted supplies and toward the back more of the higher ticket items. Advertised specials and corner kiosks displaying your most needed / wanted on sale offers. This store comes with the typical "this is Hollywood" meh, but we know how to get around that. I excused me, and asked a store employee who was showing off Windows 10 know how to another, where I could find the memory cards....third row from the end...was the answer without looking up....Allrighty then, so I did find what I needed and then got the other items on the list which included writing ink pens...the cheapest kind is what we wanted. So at the checkout, the lady said it was a box of twelve pens for 6 dollars something or did we want that box of 4 for the same $$ amount? Hello, the pack of twelve was listed on the shelf as on sale for almost half that price, but lady insists and called in a price check. Didn't take long for the runner to verify the correct discounted price, but lady had already rung up the pack of four and asked if we wanted the receipt emailed??? Wait, we want the items corrected!!! Oh boy, Hollywood meh! Finally got it all straightened out and got our printed receipt on the spot. Didn't have to get this far if she would only hold for a minute. We learned for the next time that there is a Walgreens located not too far away and they sell memory cards and pens. A job that should of taken less than 5 min had me waiting while it "calculated the cost" for 15 minutes... When I asked the employee what's taking so long he completely ignored me... Another customer was kind enough to say that the machines just take long... I'm sorry but if I'm paying 59¢ a copy I expect this to be quick and seemless. Surprised the reviews aren't higher. Every time I've been there someone has been available to point out where something I was looking for was located. If I need something they don't have in stock, someone is usually nearby to help locate a store nearby that was what I need in stock. All in all, very good store and if I'm ever in the Hollywood area I'll do all my office supplies shopping there. read more

This was a terrible experience. I came in for copies and you would have thought that this was the hardest thing on the planet for them to do. When I approached the "copy & print depot" I was greeted with a "and what do you want" from Joanne. When I greeted her with a "good morning" and asked for copies of my item and needed 11×17 sized paper she looked shocked and said "oh we can't do things that size here". You're a COPY AND PRINT CENTER. She suggested to look at the paper wall and if they carried that size I could buy a Reem and them they could copy it. So, now I need to spend and extra $20 for the 10 copies I needed that would have cost me maybe $5. When I went to the paper isle I couldn't find anything resembling my size so I had to flag someone down, and let me tell you, this was the most inconvenienced boy on the planet. He informed me that they don't even make paper that size (then how did I get my original copy?!) And as I am in conversation with him and still scouring the shelves I found the size I needed. Looks like this size is still in production! Once I brought it back up to the copy desk, Joanne stopped her interactions with me for a very important message for a coworker, Mike. Her bingo game on Farmville needed to be played and the coworker, Mike, could find her phone in her bag in the back. Other instructions followed as I am sure this was a time sensitive situation. Not that I am in the middle of my work day and need my copies for a client or anything time sensitive that. Farmville is Clearly far more important. The only reason I am giving then 2 stars and not one is because they were able to email my electronic copy to me. Other Office Depots will not even bother. read more
