I had a paid box at this store for well over a decade, probably closer to 15 years. I watched as this store dissolved into mediocrity. The managemt just grew increasingly terrible. It started years ago when a single person misaddresed mail to me in 2015, using a company name that was dissolved in 2008 and no longer existed or was legal to use. The manager kept demanding that I had to triple my price for a "company" mailbox even after I repeatedly explained the error. She never listened and it took a long time to get that fixed, and still every time I saw her she berated me. I should have quit then. But instead I quit in March 2026. In May 2026 an item that was sent from a delayed charity auction in January was as delivered to the store. I noticed the address and contacted them before it was delivered and asked them to hold it even if I had to pay to get it. They ignored the email and sent it back and only then replied to my email telling me they didn't want to hold it since "gets held forever" which is exactly not what I put in writing. So that was rude. But there's a lot more to it. The neighrboorhood the store is has collapsed to homeless and junkies and the street smells like urine. I had knives pulled on me while loading my car. The bike lanes and parking problems that were installed makes getting your packages very difficult. It was more incentive to leave. Other neighboring stores in the open mall closed, like Starbucks and T-Mobile, because it was too dangerous for employees. The Ralph's supermarket has armed private security run homeless, drug dealers and hookers off the property regularly. It's dangerous and declining. More reason to not go there. Personnel are also a problem. Every year I would give the staff a stack of gift cards to restaurants close by. I always got a polite thank you from the staff. This last year I gave them to one worker when I did my pickup. Just two days later I walked up to the door at 6:56 PM - four minutes before closing - and that same worker shut the door in my face as I was opening it and locked it and just said "closed." I pointed to my watch and to the store clock to show they were closing before the posted time. He just shrugged and locked the door and turned his back on me. There were no other customers inside. A month later, no acknowledgment or thank you so I asked one of the other staff if they got the gift cards - and he said no. So the worker I gave them to kept them all for himself. The staff member I spoke with said it wasn't surprising. So my take was that this store has known thieves on staff and no one cares. That does not give any faith in the integrity of this store at all. Then there are the excessive charges. When you pay $360-400 a year for your UPS box you expect to have them collect packages. This store changed policies in the middle of your "contract" so that if you got more than 20 packages in a month they then would charge you $3 per package. Since Amazon breaks your orders into multiple, unpredictable numbers of small practices, there's no way to come the limit with any control. When I pointed out their written contract did not allow for these surcharges, all I got was another shrug and was told to write UPS (who then says they don't govern franchise stores so they would do nothing). They didn't care about their own contract and just wanted to run up a bill. When I received a wrong package due to their errors, I always brought it back to be a good customer, person and citizen. They lost packages of mine over years and I rolled with it. Insurance wouldn't cover the package loss since it has been delivered and signed for. Management never contacted me about any of them over the years. There were good employees. One young man (I believe from Oregon) was always nice and helpful and went out of his way to do a good job - he was engaging and friendly and good. Another always cheery female employee was engaging and smart and eager, so much so I gave her an air fryer I had been given but had no use for but she was deserving. Those people were great. But they worked for a store in a declining neighborhood, a store whose management was godawful and would not so much as provide a courtesy that takes 5 seconds, not to mention the theft I mentioned earlier. But the lack of consistent performance, the growing danger of the block, the stupid parking, the theft, changing costs arbitrarily, and then the uncaring attitude just meant I needed to take my business elsewhere. They didn't care about doing their job well, so I could no longer care about supporting them. There are better options. Customers should use them. read more

This is the best UPS Store in the area. The employees are polite and incredibly service oriented. The line moves very fast even when the store is incredibly crowded and they have the best air conditioning so you are comfortable while you are there for the short wait. They offer a very valuable service in a very efficient kind professional manner. I've had a business mailbox at this location since 2016. I've been here under 2 different owners and with updates to the store, so please trust that this is a comprehensive review. The location is great, and always clean! However, there have been times when the door code doesn't work, and rather than sending out an email blast to prevent those of us who drive 45+ minutes for our mail from making a blank trip and wasting gas, they wait until you're there during business hours. The current management has major communication problems, and there is still NO option for auto payments. This is highly inconvenient, as I am often out of town. You are subject to late fees, so it can be upsetting that they have not found a way to take recurring payments so that we don't risk late fees or losing our mailbox. I started out paying $80 every 3 months. I now pay $100 every 3 months with the new owner. I have the physical box with 24 hour access. That is not too much of a price hike given inflation. They have always been reliable with getting my mail. I had an issue once with a major package that was lost, but it was with the old owner. One major gripe I had is that I added my boyfriend to my box in 2018 under old management, and when he went in to pay the box once, they put my entire box under his name, even though I was the owner since 2016. This made things complicated when we broke up, and the new management continued to allow him to access my mailbox and get mail despite me explaining the mixup and proving I'm the true owner of the mailbox. I don't recommend adding anyone to your box. It gets messy. Outside of all that, it's a great service. I don't receive any mail at home, and everything is always signed for. It feels safe, secure, and professional. read more

I was dropping off an Amazon return on Thursday morning and they were busy helping other customers mostly with UPS drop offs. Because Amazon sent me 2 of the wrong items in 1 delivery in 2 separate boxes I was told by the UPS employee that I needed 2 labels for each box and I had to buy a whole entire brand new roll of tape just to seal the 1 open box. I also had to pay $4.00/ each to print each label and another $8.00 for a roll of tape. Amazon told me that the UPS store should'nt charge me for 2 labels and I only needed 1 and simply tape the 2 boxes together since they were the exact same items. On the counter they had roll of tape that they actively use to seal boxes for customers. But when I asked the employee if he could seal the box and tape them together he blatantly refused and the store manager who was sitting at the next counter doing nothing adamantly refused to help service me and said blatantly that they DON'T like to service Amazon customers only they're own customers. He made up BS claim that whatever the Amazon rep said about the UPS drop off procedure DOESN'T apply to his store. He even shouted over to his employee to make sure that he charges me $16.00 for the labels and tape. I adamantly refused and argued with the manager and he refused to do business with me kicked me out of the store even though I was a customer sent there by Amazon. The only assistance I got from the employee was that he carried the 2 boxes to my car since I was parked directly in front. All this after wasting my time for nearly 30 minutes arguing with the manager and employee. This UPS store is in good area and I live very close by but I WON'T be doing business with them ever again. I called Amazon to file a complaint against that store and had drive more than 12 minutes in heavy traffic to drop them off at the UPS store in Koreatown. That location is kind of ghetto and in very congested area with no parking but they happily took care of me took the boxes from me. The UPS store on Hollywood Bl and Western Ave is the absolute WORST customer service ever of any UPS store I've been to and I've been to alot of UPS stores across the country and they were all very helpful with good service. If you live in the East Hollywood area AVOID this UPS store if you're an Amazon customer. read more

I went here to do my passport as it says it provides passport services including photos. Everything was filed incorrectly, I was told copies were okay when I needed originals. Even the passport photo was done incorrectly. It was framed and formatted incorrectly. Everything I paid for was a waste and the woman manager, I didn't get the name, was incredibly dismissive and condescending (in a very fake pleasant voice)when I suggested that a place that does passports should know how to do passports and at the very least know the basic photo format. Basically imagine the tone of a 15 year old snot saying with a smile "screw you, what are you gonna do about it." I then had to pay resubmission and reprocessing fees on top of the costs of another photo at the post office. I was offered no compensation and I was not even given an apology. A place that screwed it up took zero responsibility. If you want any form of competency at their basic job description don't go here. Unreal. Given the amount of one star reviews I do not buy for one second the few five star reviews. Heed the advice of all of the one stars. read more

Woah. What a bunch of PROS at this store!!! this store is really convenient for me so I stumbled in a few years ago and I never ever go anywhere else. My first experiences were with Claudia and Jonathon - serious professionals who always take amazing care of everyone and keep the store moving no matter how busy. Jonathon and Claudia make sure we get the best value for every time we come in! Then Jose printed like a billion things for me one day for an administrative process I was handling. So much patience and so efficient and helpful! Tyler was there that day helping too and thanks to them I got everything I needed! And today - Tyler was there again to assist and it was my first time meeting the rock star Rihanna!! Not the singer but she hustled and slowed so fast and well I couldn't believe my eyes!! It was my first art showing at a gallery in Brooklyn - and I had to ship two heavy pieces with glass and she wrapped them so incredibly well and SO FAST - and I came in at the end of the day and she made sure it got out in time to make the 2 day ground shipping deadline that I needed!! I don't know how she did it but she was like lightning and was so sweet and kind while helping me!! Tyler dipped in at the end to make sure I was covered insurance wise while Jose talked me through my nerves - I just can't tell you enough how wonderful this store is. Honorable mention out for Kyle the kind and kick butt driver who made sure he had my shipment before he left - Rihanna let him know she had one more - and he even complimented my paintings. EMPLOYEE JONATHAN LOPEZ ASSAULTED ME, VERBALLY ABUSED ME, AND STOLE FROM ME. Read below: A few months ago I ordered a dog toy off amazon, my dog didn't like it so I take my return to this UPS. I have been coming to this location for over a decade and NEVER had a problem. I handed the toy to an employee named Jonathan. A few days later I notice a charge on my account & amazon messaged me saying they never received my order back. I didn't think much of it because it was only $11 , assuming it was lost in transit I just let it go. Fast forward to today, May 31, 2025 I go back to the same UPS store to return another package and I see that dog toy that never got returned with a hat on it sitting on Jonathan's register. I went up to him and asked him in a very calm manner where he got this toy from, because I knew it was mine. He immediately got very defensive, told me that it was his toy and that he got it off of amazon & that it's not my toy because this one had a hat on it. With one simple photo image search it showed that the hat was separately sold on amazon, he for sure stole that from another customer and added it onto the toy he stole from me. After we went back and forth I called him a thief and asked to speak to the manager. Then I told him I want the toy back, he proceeded to take the hat off of the toy, THROW the toy in front of me aiming for me , the toy fell on the ground and then he told me to "fuck off". After speaking to the manager, I was able to get a hold of the STORE OWNER who was more of a piece of shit than Jonathan himself. He told me that I am "claiming it is stolen" and that "there must be a reason for it" A reason for cussing at a girl, stealing a toy, and lying?? He said Jonathan is a "Great employee who has never had anyone complain about him". Absolutely useless business owner. I hope Jonathan steals from him one day so he can learn his lesson. The principle is what matters here, not the money. Clearly he needs that dog toy more than I do. I called the police and filed a report, Jonathan got sent home early that day , he never apologized to me, he cussed at me. Beware, one day it's a $11 dog toy, and the next it's another one of your returns. He is a thief, a liar, and a absolutely terrible person. Here's the proof. read more
