My wife and I purchased a desk and office chair from this location a few days ago. We put the chair together first and found that all of the wheels were missing. Luckily the store let us come and get some from another box. Now I'm putting the desk together, and 2 of the 8 legs are missing. Very irritating, but fixable. We again called the store and the person that we spoke to, Nathan, said that they could give us the legs, but had to ok it with their manager Justin. Justin's reply was that we had to go through the manufacture, and they couldn't help us. The problem here is that Office Depots vendor shorted THEM product. They then turned around and sold it to me and want to make it my problem so that they don't have to deal with an issue that I have nothing to do with. Beware buying from both this store and the one in Stockbridge. Justin is the manager for both stores and will absolutely cheat you, and then dodge your calls. I refuse to go to the manufacturer and wait who knows how long for legs to be shipped. I'm returning this thing and will be going as far up Office Depots food chain as possible in order to try to hold Justin accountable for his actions. read more

I wouldn't bother sending a print job to them. I went online and sent a print job to print up a 96 page, coil-bound presentation documents. I sent the day after Thanksgiving at 8:30 pm. Their site quoted that it would be processed by 5 pm on Saturday. I figured it would take a minute and I was in no rush. Cut to Wednesday, a whole 6 days (aka 3 business days) later my order was still listed as "processing." I ended up canceling my order. Even though it cost more + I added to my order (larger 200+ page presentation), I put in an order at the FedEx in Wal-Mart. Placed the order on Thursday morning, someone from the store called me within the hour to confirm, quote the price, and explain a problem they had (didnt have the color paper I wanted). Got an email Friday, the following day, at 10:09 that my order was ready. Picked it up and had the opportunity to review it before paying. Don't waste your energy with them. Go to FedEx next door. Sure it costs more money but you know you'll actually get it. I'm Update on 12/5/2021: 9 days later Office Depot sends me an email that my order is ready. read more

I originally went to the Stockbridge location and was interested in purchasing a executive chair...the chair was not in stock.. The manager called the store(McDonough) she said the line was busy!!!I waited in that store for a 23 minutes...ok fine..When I called and left on hold,nobody ever answered the phone...in commute to the location which was another 19 minutes..My husband and I decided to take the trip and go the this location..once again..two people standing looking at the walls in the print area"Associate said" "Oh we only do print"! I just wanted to confirm that they actually had the product so I wouldn't waste more of my TIME!!eventually the only helpful person in the store named "ROBERT" was able to assist me by getting the executive chair....I even wanted to leave Robert a tip because I only had $100 but was told by the manager that is "NOT allowed"!...I was told I could use a coupon but when I got to the register I was told I actually COULDN'T use the coupon that I received from the Stockbridge location.....ok fair enough however considering that we drove to the location,no one answered,had a wait again...the CORRECT thing to do would be to accommodate the client by offering a apology to start but then also some sort of ACCOMMODATION!!! It's called customer service let alone common sense.. I asked "Keshawn Wynn's"Sales Manager if he feels he couldn't of done something differently!! My discontent is with the business and how Office Depot is a horrible business, this has nothing to do with the workers, it's to do with who's at the top. I purchased desk here, I was at home all day and never was the doorbell used to alert me my desk was being delivered or a phone call, but these guys they contract to deliver, well that's a joke! They just dump it on the front porch , box all opened paper flying outside the box,I just happened to be taking my dog out to use it and there it was for anyone to help themselves with my purchase, totally irresponsible to do that worst more irresponsible that a company name Office Depot willing to risk reputation by hiring help who doesn't care that I gave my business to them. I call corporate and ask what to do a whole desk un assembled I'm 70 years old with fragile bones and you just throw in front of my door and not even alert me, the agent told ME " oh we just drop off on the street" WHAT this is worst so they usually just dump what you pay for on the street REALLY I won't purchase here again it's not worth it, my back hurt , but luckily I i had my wagon in front and I had to take each piece one by one put in back of the trunk some pieces very heavy but I did it! ((THIS REVIEW IS ABOUT A STAFF MEMBER)) I'm starting to really like this store. They recently closed the Staples store in the area. I have to be honest, I was very reluctant to come to Office Depot, I have always done my print work at Staples. I was so reluctant that I was considering driving 30 mins to my old location in Lithonia. Well, one thing that makes me stick with a store is customer service. I have been several times Howard has done an EXCELLENT JOB assisting me. He's patient, kind and very informative. I have seen him several times and he is consistently the same even if he's the only one working the print center and it's 12 customers waiting. Today, I encountered Lawrence. He was very unprofessional, he gave way too much personality which came off rude and too sarcastic. He also repeatedly tried to correct Howard in front of me and other customers. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!! I almost hate that Howard has to work with him and I believe he is a Manager. So sad. I hope the store Management sees this and corrects him. He even said something smart to me but I overlooked it. Overall this is a great store, this associate however makes the store look bad! read more

I arrived at the store in Mcdonough, Ga. at 7:45pm, which the store doesn't close until 8:00. 2 of the staff members were locking up. I inquired why were the closed?? Employee was rude, huffing/puffing and rolling her eyes. Employee unable to multitask; stood around watching the copier print paper while she could have been helping other customers. Employee doesn't know how to interpret the pricing. Wanted to charge me for two pages for one piece of paper with printing on both sides. It's one piece of paper and shouldn't matter how much ink is on it. Had this done in March and was charged for only one page. Store Manager agreed to give me a deal on the price, but employee overrode his decision and convinced him to go along with her. I was quoted a price of $274.00 for 100 pages. I went to the UPS Store down the street where the gentleman was courteous. I was charged for one page. The final cost was $75.00. I have this done 4 times a year and will be taking it to UPS thanks to their excellent customer service. Office Depot, your employee lost you a customer. read more

Your print center customer service is ridiculous. I was trying to print lost dog posters and as everyone knows getting the information out about your lost pet is time sensitive. The girl working the counter told me it would take two hours, before I even told her how many I needed. WHY TWO HOURS. That's insane. She mumbled that is how long things usually take depending on how many people are doing things in the print center. Which normally I would have understood but there was nobody in line besides me. I asked her if there was any way I could expedite the process and she mumbles again THAT THEIR MACHINES ARE DOWN!! Why on earth wouldn't you have led with that, so you were just going to take my money and make me wait a ridiculous amount of time without prefacing that your machines are broken. Absolutely and insanely ridiculous. I left and bought a printer from Wall-Mart. Never again will I enter an Office Depot. Good luck staying in business with employees that withhold information for profit. Pathetic. read more

Love the staff here . They are always so helpful . I generally use the print shop a lot and can email my documents and if they have a question they email me . I love the service. Where has Customer service gone? I went in there on a Sunday evening with an hour before they closed, they had already turned off all the computers and tablets as well as camera's. I went in there to pick up a tablet and knew I was going to walk out of there with one, no matter what. I pick up one of the tablets and the alarm goes off. One of the staff comes over and just asks me if I wanted to look at something, but just stands there while this siren goes off. YES. Yes this is why I am standing here with it in my hand. Finally another associate turned it off, so I say oh it seems you need a password to access the tablet(I would like to play with it before I buy it) and the girl hovering over me says, "Umm I think they changed the password" Ok, Since I don't work here and don't know who that person is, why don't you go ahead and call someone who knows? So I ask again, can you PLEASE see what the password is since this tablet I want to buy is 200 dollars and I want to see it first? After a very awkward frustrating moment she types in a pw miraculously and it works. She didnt even walk away after that she just stood shoulder to shoulder with me. At this point I knew I wanted it, so i just said "I'll take it". The cashier was less than enthused she had to check me out, as she had papers everywhere all over the counter...I mean REALLY!? I've been twice within a couple months, both times, a young lady named Madelyn was the 1 to assist me. Both times, I was attempting to put together my oldest son's projects. The 1st one was simple and she got it done in no time, even helped me with a printer matter. Last night I had a more complicated report, I had the wrong report cover for it, and didn't really have a clue how to do the layout passed my initial plan. Madelyn and another lady (think a manager) instantly helped brainstorm, EVERY time something didn't workout, Madelyn jumped in with more ideas. They were very encouraging to my son and ultimately made an entire booklet out of his project. Customer service was A1. Great job Madelyn with making me forget how stressful it can be doing these sort of projects. read more
