I come to Office Max for all my printing needs. I've had baby shower invitations, cake toppers, and lamination all done here and it's always so smooth! They allowed me to place my baby footprint photos meticulously in the laminate paper so that I could save some money which was awesome. They have a self serve area where you can print, table, cut, etc. without any staff interference. I took advantage of the small seating area to cut all my feet out which was nice and relaxing. They have a quick and easy pick up process with two shelves- one for photo and another for all other store items. Only con is that I ordered a custom address stamp for my Christmas cards which was supposed to be available next day for pick up but unfortunately they don't have any in stock and neglected to call or have any documentation on the website. Big bummer. BUT they were able to get another stamp order going and I was able to get a larger size stamp without having to pay the difference. read more

Wanted to check the status of a custom order placed last week but I was too late according to Google and used DuckDuckGo. No 2.5 star rating for a "Meh" experience so I will round up? It's an office supply store so I already don't expect too much from it on face value. Guy with the ponytail at the print shop gives subpar/slow service forgive me but I don't know his name. Have nothing to do and nowhere to be when you go here. I may resort to having Amazon ship my printer ink and doing everything from home. It won't be long before everything is self service or automated. The hours are updated across most but not all search engines. Not sure if the times are a local decision or regional but online it appears it was a recent change. Guess I'll go to or call another store to find out. read more

We sent in our invitations for our sons bday party to be printed. Not very long after we got an email they were ready to be picked up. So I stopped in to get them on the way to baseball practice. They couldn't find them... it turns out they were supposed to cancel the job as we had a logo on the invite that was possibly a copy write issue. However they didn't cancel.. they completed it in the system, charged us, but never printed. The guy printed them for me on the spot. He said since they goofed he would print them and did so in 5 mins! And then cut them down for me too! (Now while I was waiting I did see that there was very little help in the store... a lady came up three times to ask for help and the guy kept calling for someone and no one came! The line at the register was extremely backed up the whole time I was there too!) However for my part... besides the wait in trying to figure out what happened it all went great! read more

No electronics in stock. Needed to replace a monitor and went back to this store to find one. Had previously purchased one in the winter and there were several to choose from. Today, shelves are bare and staff to consult was non existent. If you need anything electronic, don't count on this store. read more

The team at the printing section were literally the sweetest !! Recently we lost of puppy and I wanted to print some posters to pass out in my neighborhood. I did an online order and I realize they weren't going to be ready on time. I called and asked if they could be done sooner they told me they'll be ready in an hour, which was already great, just 10 mins after that call they called me back to let me know my order was ready. I did curbside pickup, which they were super quick and easy to find. When they brought my order out I noticed they gave me 10 extra prints of the regular size and 10 extra prints of a larger poster size, making it 20 extra prints. I'm super happy and grateful for they small act that goes a long way. We were able to pass out extras and we're taking it as a sign we're able to find our puppy. Today I went here to make copies. I struggled with making copies for quite awhile. After struggling with this machine, I was able to get help. At this point, the girl said, people have struggled all day with this copier. Unfortunately the only other copier was in use. After a half hour or so of wasted. Time, the employee should have told us this copier had been causing people problems. read more

Came here to print this morning and Ulysses was phenomenal. Not only did he have a great attitude for opening, but he was so willing to help. While i was there he assisted 3 customers including myself, while speaking with another on the phone. There was another caucasian male right there at the desk who seemed as though he could have helped, but was very unapproachable turning his back towards customers. Had Ulysses not been there I know I would have been waiting forever. read more

One Less Reason . . . . . . to leave Pflugerville. It hasn't even grand opened yet but it is bigger, more well let and better stocked than the other stores in the area so truly there is little reason for me to venture out of the neighborhood when in need of office supplies. read more

They sold me a $250 'leather' office chair that started peeling and disforming (sagging and out of shape) after less than 2 years, real crappy quality. They won't help to fix this issue either. So this was the last time I was buying an item from them, support is not fair in my eyes. I can post photos so you can see by yourself the horrible office chair i have. read more

The girl behind the counter was rude. She made jokes that were not funny. I asked if I could come back Monday since their printers were not working for my announcements. She said "no" with a straight face. THen 3 seconds later laughed. THat would be funny if it wasnt at the end of a 2 hour ordeal trying to get things printed. I went to the Georgetown location and it was night and day. Much better atmosphere and helpful employees. The guy at the register in Pflugerville was friendly but the lady at the printing department just ruined it for me. read more

As I write this it is 9:20am and the store isn't open because, as the staff who are waiting to get in the store themselves states, Phil the store manager isn't picking up his phone. Another manager is supposedly on her way, but does nothing to appease this customer now late for work having to wait to pick up her print job. I called the Round Rock store to ask they report the situation to the District Manager. In light of the poor reviews this store routinely gets, I am not sure even that will do any good. read more

Office Depot and Biz Box have teamed up to provide an even more unbearable, useless experience. Apparently since the upgrade their "computers" have been down and I could not access any of my online cloud files to print. In my entire history of dealing with terrible customer service at Office Depot, this takes the cake. read more

I've been visiting this store for around a year---my thoughts: While the management team at this store is friendly and helpful, most of the part and full time sales staff lacks basic customer service skills and common curtesy towards their customers. More times than not, the cashier hands me the receipt without saying any thing at all...no "thank you" or "have a great day" or anything. It's a very awkward feeling as if I'm more or less a hassle. At the same time, they consistently have personal conversations (laughing/cutting up) in front of perfect strangers. I really don't ask for much and am pretty much used to retail self service these days BUT I do believe your people should (at the very least) say "thank you," "have a good day," or even "good bye" so that I'm not wondering if their finished ringing me up. Retail mgt---I feel for you all....all your hard work to create an awesome customer experience (and constantly battling corporate BS) and at the end, you have to rely on young, inexperienced, underpaid, bored cashiers that ruin everything mgt works for. Fire the regional or district manager and take the extra salary to hire good people who make the most impact on your biz. read more

If you need to print a document from Google drive, don't bother coming here. Their computer system doesn't recognize Google Drive at all. So I will be going to Staples for my printing needs from now on. read more

The store manager is HORRIBLE! I was there today and a helpful young man at the cash register was trying to help us navigate a connection error. Well, he made the mistake of asking the store manager (I think her name is Sam). She was rude and very disrespectful! He tried to explain, she never listened, grabbed the device out of his hand, and was incredibly insulting to him in front of myself and my daughter. To be clear, he was great and very concerned for us. She shouldn't be allowed to run a PARKING LOT much less a store this size! I hope that young man gets an apology from her from how awful she behaved. If that's how she acts toward employees, she ought to be fired IMMEDIATELY so they can get someone better! I am appalled to see someone who wanted to help us get treated like that. Shame on her! Office Depot looks bad for having someone that rude on staff. read more

Standing in a long line at the print department with a group of other frustrated people... They can't seem to get my print right. On the 8th attempt they got it. Girl behind counter was getting frustrated and I was acting as patient and calm as possible. Maybe she was new and probably worked up because the crowd was gathering... So I gave her the benefit of the doubt and kept telling her it was okay. But when I would tell her what else was wrong she got quickly frustrated. She did seem to chill out once she realized I wasn't getting mad at her, just trying to be helpful. Final product came out looking very good, so plus one star. It just took way too long! One hour for 10 prints that I had ordered 20 hours before. I almost always have to have something redone when I come here, but still use them because they are very close to me, the price is right and even though it takes a while, they always make it right in the end. Also, they price match Amazon. So thats pretty cool for products. +1 star for that. read more

I was a regular customer under Jason, the old manager. I stopped after Samantha Auburn became manager in summer 2015. Under her, the store became a mess, both in physical inventory and in personnel. The store became the laughing stock of the district. You could go to any OD/OM in Austin with a print job, tell them Sam's store screwed it up, and they'd reprint it for you on the spot, no questions asked. The store had that bad a rep. The aisles were always messy and black mold grew all over. Walking in, you'd often hear her yelling and belittling employees. Office Depot HR gave her official reprimands for her conduct, but that didn't stop her from driving away numerous employees - often the people who did their jobs best, like Caryn and Daniel. Their loss was why the store could not perform adequately. She referred to African American customers as "those people," earning her condemnation by Black Lives Matter. If you were a minority shopping there, she'd check your bag before you left, but gave white customers a pass. She's also been banned from multiple LGBT events due to bullying. Good news, though: Sam Auburn was recently fired for incompetence (as of Oct 16) and replaced. Hopefully the new manager will be able to get this store back on track! I'm making this public so future employers will know she wasn't let go due to cuts - she was FIRED. (Straight from the mouth of several employees there, who are all happy she's gone.) And good riddance! I'm glad to have my local office supply store a place I can shop at! read more

I'll start by saying that the lady behind the counter at the print/copy station was friendly...once I got up there. The line to have things printed was long, due to what seemed like no sense of urgency on the part of the employees. Worst than that, the computers wouldn't recognize my USB flash drive....thankfully I had saved my files to my google drive. It took their computer multiple tries to open google drive and once it did, it took foreverrrrrr to download the files (five simple pdf files) before they could be printed. The entire experience of getting 5 PDF files printed took almost one hour. Yes, you read that right. I should have walked out but I was exhausted and just needed it to be done. The lady working there said it happens all the time and she's not sure why they have such a bad internet connection. WTH! Of all places! No thanks. Save yourself the time and frustration and go elsewhere for your print/copy needs. read more

This store is great. I had a big event in which I needed 150 fliers printed and something went wrong with the print. I went back and they totally fixed the issue. I want to give recognition to Jodi for her wonderful and thorough customer service. I will definitely be a repeat customer due to her going beyond my expectations. read more

Wow...who knew that you could get A+ customer service when purchasing office supplies. I simply went to buy notebook paper and a new calculator and was treated like I came in to buy a Mercedes. I was immediately greeted by the staff and asked if I needed help. I was guided to each item I was looking for and they even showed me the items that were on sale. Personally, I love this location. I've been about five times for the same service. To cut and bind my books. The lady behind the counter is the same one who always does them for me, and she's great. I bought a hard drive from another Office Depot store that was having a 'going out of business sale' and it died within a few hours of use. I brought this drive into this store, not even the Office Depot it was originally from, and the manager jumped on the issue and exchanged it for me no problem. This was despite have the wrong receipt on me and missing the packaging. I appreciate their efforts to resolve the situation given the obstacles at hand. read more

Went to this store today to purchase a desk that another store said they had in stock. I show us and not one employee is on the floor helping people. Finally I find a woman that is completely worthless. She just looked on her phone of the website and said "nope we don't have it." lol how about use your stores inventory system. So I left, went home and called around other stores who continued to say this Pflugerville store had the desk in stock. I go ahead and call the store and I get a person named John. The first thing out of his mouth is "we're busy with customers and I can't check right now." So I guess customers who call are not customers. After an argument he finally checks and hmmm yep they have it in stock!. So I go back up there to pick it up to then have the store manger tell me he doesn't want to match the office depot website price. LOL. He says, "well that one is black in the picture and your looking for cherry. So a couple clicks later I find it in cherry for the same price on the website. He finally agrees to match the price and during the process is lecturing me why they can't match their own website. I then go to the round rock store to pick up the other half of the desk and had absolutely no problems with any of the process. Pflugerville get your act together! read more
