This store is my go-to store when I am in over my head. They are helpful and pretend they are dealing with an intelligent human. Candy in the printing department is the tops. Will walk me through the steps to get my things printed. She problem solves and is patient. Kudos to Candy. I generally find what I need at the store. Bravo to Candy! After being told by the South Meadows Office Depot they couldn't get our lamination project done for 2+ days my wife started calling around and spoke to this location on Kietzke Lane next to Michaels. When you call you get to speak to someone at the actual store so thats a big positive. They said come on down and we will knock it out while you wait. Upon arrival we were greeted and they jumped right on it. Candy I believe is the store manager and was very attentive and great at multi-tasking while she took care of laminating for us. Came in to drop off a package. The only associate in the store called for help because she wasn't trained to do shipping. Nobody showed up and we waited. There were other people at the front waiting for another thing the associate wasn't trained to do, and the associate who was trained was on break. I ended up leaving after realizing nobody would show up and going to a drop box. This wasn't the associate's fault, but this is what happens when management doesn't train their employees to do basic things. read more

They do have the copy service you need. They were helpful with assisting on use of copier. Reasonable price for self-use and if need different card stock, they have it. The people at service counter are courteous and friendly. read more

Last time we were here there was a nice lady who helped us figure out printing some fliers. The store closes at 8:00 so we showed up tonight at 7:15 to print them off and the two ladies there said it was too late and that they were closing the printing area at 7:30. So even though we still had 15minutes to print only 50 fliers, they did not offer to help us submit our order and had snarky attitudes. Also the store was completely dead no one else was there. So good job on losing money tonight and our future business. read more

I come to this store for all my printing and document shredding needs. The staff is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to custom printing and will go the extra mile for you. They've been helping me make my place feel like home with the prints I've been getting done there. Word of advice ... If you're going for printing services, put your stuff on a USB, know the password to your cloud account, and just be patient. We went there yesterday and dropped big bucks on some new items, I got two office chairs of printer paper cartridges you name it. Randy helped us and stayed with us the whole time and searched all over for these chairs we wanted, I didn't have it in stock so he got some different ones. I was asked to drop a review with my receipt but I lost it so I am doing one here I've only been in the Reno area for about a year and I use Office Depot all the time for work. I've been to a few of the stores in Reno and I don't care for the other ones this one is always clean and the staff are always nice even when they have really difficult customers at the print center who don't understand the concept of do it yourself or pay for help, and if they don't have something they will usually have an alternative or check online for you to see if it's available that way, it's hard to find customer service like this in todays world where you can just go to Amazon or some other online retailer. At the end of the day I know I shop in stores for the service and this store has always delivered it kudos to the crew here thank you. read more

Just got done with our purchase. A gentleman was very helpful in finding an item for us. We went to go checkout & checker asked for our phone number. Stated we didn't have a rewards card & we were only in the area a few times year - she said we would still be saving money As we were leaving we said have a nice day & she responded nicely with have a nice day & then I heard her quietly say and "thanks for the $1 donation" , which we did not do. Sorry we have just experienced the Dixie Fire & our business was closed during our busiest time of the year. - lots of sales lost. Shouldn't judge people without knowing their journey. read more

Went in today to make one copy, there was a guy ahead of me coping his tax return for 2021. Long story short there was an employee sitting at a desk near the copy center, another man on a head set talking to the guy at the desk. There was another employee at the cashier counter filing her nails and another employee stocking shelves. Finally, I the guy was finished after having to go to his car and back... thats when I asked for one copy. The girl behind the counter told me she had to finish this. Ok fine, she finally finished I asked for my one copy (again) and she said ok... and puts it at the bottom of a small pile of 2 other jobs. She maybe had some 30 pages to copy.... She wanted me to wait she never mention go to the self service machine, after waiting another 10 minutes for her to finish writing up the other guys tax return. There was 4 other employees walking around not one of them got off their fat ass to help out. There were no other customers in the store! Will never give this store my business EVER read more

Slow. Slow. Slow. It is school supply shopping month - get with the program Office Depot!!! The line was at least 8-10 deep mid afternoon, and there were two slow.as.molasses. cashiers. Seriously, I wanted to push them out of the way and do it myself. Then a manager comes up to "help" and was yammering on about a returned chair that had NOTHING to do with anything. Shut up. I agree. The customer service at the Kietzke store is non-existent. Eric there was very rude. I gave them a job that I have been giving them for over 5 years. When I picked it up it was out of order and it was in alphabetical order. Anyone could see that. For some reason, this year the job was too difficult and time consuming. They tried to put the blame me that I didn't send it electronically. Some of us older customers aren't that proficient in that area. I bought a printer on line and I recieved A USED one. Imagine that. Called them and they said they will call the next day to see if I still want it after a $10 discount.... They never called back... I don't usually review anything but I feel like I should with this location. I made my first ever brochure and used Office Depot to print it. At first it was a pretty big headache (some fault of my own, as my computer messed up my original file when I uploaded it to begin with). The few people I spoke to over the phone were less than friendly, but I get it, things happen! I'm writing this review mostly on Laura from printing. She ended up emailing me to clear a few things up, help me with my brochure, and even caught a spelling error of mine before printing it. When I picked up my project, she was beyond nice and helpful. She made my first experience wonderful after a few bumps I the road. If t weren't for her I would've given up and gone somewhere else. So thank you, Laura from printing! Victor in customer service is great , ask for him. Phenoix on the other had such an issue with her customer service. I wasn't aware that you can't use the computers to print for self use. There are no signs posted stating other wise. She could have been nicer with her communication. I shop there frequently and use there mailing services but since I've gone to staples. read more

Came to this Office Depot and I was assisted right away for my need, went to the one in Steamboat, but they only had one and needed to purchase 2 office desk, i was glad to have came on this one in Kietzke, everyone is helpful and top of the sale they also had additional promotion, so I got my items a lot less than what was advertised. My printer had stopped working and I was looking for somewhere I could purchase one and pick it up today. I called Office Depot on Kietzke Lane and a gentleman (whose name I did not write down) answered. When I told him the problem I was having with my printer, he advised me to try cleaning the print heads. This is something I should have considered, but I had not. Thanks to him, I do not have to replace my printer at this time. When I do, I will definitely check with Office Depot first. read more

Went in to get some invoice books and they didn't have them in stock - the sales person told me to order them online "when I get home." At checkout I was told I had to go get my car and come back inside to get my items because the carts are not allowed to go outside the building - I asked if someone could help me to carry my purchases which included two large storage boxes but was told I would have go get my car and come back in - no thanks , I got my money back for my basket of stuff and the manager who came over to credit my card could care less - one of the worst customer service experiences ever read more

I needed to make a return (bad printer ink) which I didn't realize was bad until I tried to use it, more than 90 days since I purchased it. Cathy and Briana were both extremely helpful and processed my returns with courtesy and promptness. I feel they both went beyond store policy to help me and it was much appreciated since I live scores of miles away and returns often cannot be made within a store's time limit. The worker here at Office Depot was helpful and knowledgeable about the office furniture and chairs in the back section. I wanted to get a new desk and chair that had an adjustable option to go up and down. He was a bit helpful but talked me out of the one I really wanted. I did not walk into office depot planning to have an amazing experience or write a review - but I just had to! My wedding is in a week and I had some last minute details (as brides do) and the ladies at the print shop were so incredibly sweet and helpful. I didn't have a clue what I was doing or what was possible and I threw ideas out there and they were happy to help with each one. They made a large poster board, several small print signs, adorable stickers with our logo on them for gift bags and name tags. Everything looks amazing, it was super fast, and very reasonably priced. I had another addition to the order, just a couple of prints, but when I picked them up there was a post-it that Nicole had paid for them as a wedding gift and to say "Congrats". The gesture was so incredibly sweet, and reminded me we should all pay it forward as often as we can. I highly recommend this location for your printing needs, especially last minute wedding items! First I called to verify the file I needed to have printed, the staff was clueless and dismissive. So I went into the store (1st time) to make sure it was received where I was assured it would be ready the next morning. Next morning, go pick my docs up (2nd time in the store) the same person I spoke with the night before now cant find the file, needless to say it hasn't been printed. The mgr offers to have printed in an hour if I'd come back because his "best" printing associate just clocked in. Ok, I come back (3rd time) the file is printed but done single sided when the order was for double sided. So I come back (4th time). I have never reviewed a business before today but the unapologetic, disconcerned service I received consumed a larger portion of my Saturday and I'm compelled to write this in an effort to save others from similar hassle. read more

This is about a standard Office Depot a large box store with lots of different office supplies and one or two employees working to try and keep everything in the store. The team that works there is pretty knowledgeable about the inventory and what's available and if they're not they're willing to go out of their way and go check on availability of a desk or chair when I went in and checked out things. The gentleman that helped me seemed to know his way around the desks and what the installation process was like and how much it normally was and what I could expect for pricing with the installers when they came and dropped it off and all of the information regarding that which was helpful. I was also looking for some information about printers which they were able to help with since I needed a new printer and the old printer that I had used to be Wireless and I had mixed results with the wireless so they should be several options with different printers on plug-in direct printers and wireless options and I went with the plug-in direct option because I had problems in the past and I didn't want to have problems anymore. read more

I took my laptop in for repairs because they advertise that they are computer "experts". Nothing could be further from the truth. I'm an idiot, I let their "tech" expert sell me on replacing my existing anti-virus software and "tuning" up my computer, both of which would solve my problems (according to him). WRONG! When I got my computer back, it had the same problems plus a couple of new problems. Their "expert" in incompetent and is simply working on a commission. I'm taking my computer to someone who actually knows what they're doing. read more
