I was running errands near South Reno after leaving an appointment. I needed to find a FedEx location to drop off a return I had. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Office Depot is one of those locations. I walked in and was greeted by Mr. Bill. He told me to come right up that he'll meet me at the counter. I had my printed label in hand and needed tape and scissors. Mr. Bill said, not too worry that he'll take care of everything, but made sure I knew FedEx already picked up for the day. That wasn't a problem. I appreciate good service and Mr. Bill is that in this Office Depot. I buy my school supplies for my kids here and my office needs. I will make copies and use their printing center for same day pick up. Their prices are fair and their locations are organized and easy to get around. Went to this Office Depot hoping to find a selection of boxes to choose from for shipping out a variety of shoes, clothes, etc., and wow was I ever disappointed. I needed a particular box size to fit a wide-brimmed hat, and not only did they not have anything, but the selection they do carry is extremely limited. Additionally, I looked for a few basic stationery/office items that I have been able to find at many other Office Depots in the past, they either had nothing comparable or the most bare minimum selection imaginable. Overall, this seems like a store that is either going out of business or just doesn't have the sales volume to stock basics. read more

My favorite of all the OD's I visit! Best service. Also convenient to my Home Depot and Safeway chores. Quality/Quantity - I come here to make my copies because the ink in all my printers are ALWAYS dry... And I do not plan to buy any more ink or printers moving forward. Don't we live in a paperless world now? Anyways, my choice is either spending 20¢ for a copy or $25-$60 for an ink cartridge for my last semi broken printer. Okay, 2 self-service machines. 1 was out of service today, as usual... And the worst part of it all was that my USB NEVER works on the self-service machines, but the team members had ALWAYS taken care of me. On my last visit, I was told that the machines are NOT Apple compatible, so I am using my Microsoft laptops for my USB copies now and they still do not work... Atmosphere - Office supply store. Clean and organized. Service - Excellent, I believe the female was an assistant manager or a manager. Helped me today and with perfect service. She actually went above and beyond! 1/10/2024- Popped in yesterday to see if I could find an inexpensive computer desk.. I ended up returning the standing one at the big box store.. (someone said they wanted and then changed his mind!!)... Plus my youngest paid for it, but still couldn't get a yes.. I love how convenient it is and the staff always helpful.. It's great that they also give a discount if you are a Farm Bureau member.. but only on certain items.. (which mine wasn't).. Ended up getting a nice looking desk.. To help with someone not saying no again, I did all the hard work of in packaging.. It's a pretty simple layout.. so shouldn't be hard to put together..(especially for an engineer).. lol.. DO NOT PRINT FROM HERE!!! This is the Office Depot closest to my house as it's 5 minutes away and they are so terrible that I'm going to start going to the one 15 minutes away instead. Almost without fail, basically EVERYTIME, they mess up the print jobs I send in despite being as clear as possible. At first I tried to pass is off as something I didn't clarify but my papers are consistently messed up even after putting the explicit details in the notes. And on the few occasions it HAS been correctly printed, they are rude and make it known that we don't need to put anything in the notes when obviously we do because the crew is so incompetent. Like I don't understand why it is so hard to print something to fill the paper and vice versa, or why it's so hard to get a single sided copy of things instead of a bunch of double sided shit that I specifically did NOT ask for. It's honestly just ridiculous. I am not the person to complain but this happens so frequently that I need to voice my frustration somewhere. In addition to this, I think it's ridiculous for an order to not be printed when I submitted the order at 7pm the previous night and go in at 1pm the next day. Like I totally get you guys are busy but how is it that you guys can't print a SINGLE sheet of paper before 12? Just makes no sense honestly especially when I see NO other orders printed and am standing right there asking if it'd be possible to just print my SINGLE RESUME that I need for a job interview. Just shitty service all around. Totally for teens and old, senile men working places (I'm literally in my early 20s) but damn yall suck ass. You gotta get someone competent in there. read more

Came in recently just to use the printer so it was a quick trip. The store is clean and bright. Staff were all very friendly first thing in the morning. Printing prices are definitely fair and it's easy to use. read more

I needed to print some baby shower invitations and something for my walls and didn't want to use my printer ink up. I've never used this Office Depot before and figured why not. I place the order online and it said it would be ready at five which was about four hours away. I thought that was pretty impressive. NOPE! I no joke got a text ten minutes after pressing submit saying my order was ready for pickup. Now that is impressive! We went to pick it up and the girls at the print center were AMAZING! Ally and holly I believe we're their names and they deserve a bonus and a high five. They made sure my invites were lined up properly for the front and back and the colors were just right. The drawing for my walls printed a little dark and they made sure to redo it and make it right and did it with smiles. I was shocked. I've had things printed before other places and honestly whenever you ask for someone to lighten something I feel like it's always a fight or some sort of attitude. Not the case here. Overall great experience and we will definitely be using them again in the future! read more

11/524 we brought 3 boxes to be mailed to California. For some reason 2 were sent regular USPS and one FedEx. The USPS deliveries got to destination on 11/7/24. Our FedEx delivery was never sent out. On 11/8/24 we called Office Depot and spoke to a employee. She said that we needed to contact FedEx. We called FedEx they did a trace and it was never received and they opened a case. My husband went 11/9/24 and spoke with a manager at Office Depot and he said he would look into it. No information was given to us on package and we paid for insurance. The following week my husband went again to Office Depot and an employee said he seen a note indicating someone was suppose to call us. Still no one called. All of a sudden there was notification from FedEx that it was shipped and received by 11/14/24. Our package would've never been a priority of Office Depot and this was the first time in 4 1/2 years that we received such awful customer service. No one never contacted us and we feel that our business is not important to this company. Sadly, we will take our business elsewhere and get it shipped with care with better customer service. Not even a manager bothered to let us know where our package was. It wasn't the cost of the package it was the personal gifts inside for Christmas that was important for them to find out package. Hopefully this will not happen to another person maybe with more important items in the box. read more

The printer I as interested in, at Office Depot, was the same price as Best Buy and the service was excellent. Ron helped us and explained the different printer models and showed us the features. I dropped by this location today because I needed to mail a package via USPS and had no interest in fighting the lines at the Post Office. The staff got me started on mailing my package by logging me into a terminal to begin inputting to and from information. Before I was too far into the process they were already back with a tape measure measuring the dimensions of my package. When I was done they took over the terminal and completing the process. Not having to wait in huge lines is a perk. One stop shopping for random office supply needs as well as shipping? Awesome. Customer service that is both knowledgable and friendly? Perfect. They had plenty of employees ready to help which aided the lines for sure. I will try never to set foot in the Post Office as long as this place is around!! read more

This may sound weird but this is my go-to place to mail packages. They have the flat rate and priority postage boxes and envelopes available. I liked being able to mail boxes thru the USPS without having to actually go to the post office. I pack up my boxes and head here. You must go to the printing counter to mail your packages. There is always someone here ready and eager to help you out. They get the computers ready and then you enter the shipping address and your mailing address. They check this information to confirm you have everything correct before printing the mailing label. You pay and are on your way in a matter of minutes unlike the post office! No disgruntle employees here and you leave happy to have that little task checked off of your to-do list. read more

The staff here could really use some customer service training. The older lady at the Federal Express counter is rude and abrupt and should perhaps consider another profession.
