Office Depot gets a one for jacking up the price of their copying. I got one copy and it cost me 61 cents.

I'm normally patient and understanding when going into an Office Depot to get things printed. However this experience took the cake today. There were 4 associates (later learned one was the general manager) working but it might as well be 2. The lady has to be new but the amount of questions she was asking she needs to still be in training. It caused a lot of interruptions which increased wait times. As I was waiting for my items to be completed they stopped assisting me to help other customers. When I say stopped assisting, meaning they were cutting/arranging/answering my questions....I get the other customers print jobs may have been easier but with all the interruptions with questions I would have thought they would have continued to focus on my order since I had been patient. That was not the case. Which completely killed my patience with them. I also feel this store is limited on their print capabilities as some sizes with double sided printing isn't available but they are in other stores. Found this to be extremely odd as they seemed to have the same equipment as other s Will shop around for another store or do jump back online to order things in the future. read more

I go here because its close to home. Unfortunately 2 customers and 10 staffers they rather watch you run up and down each isle than offer to help. I have been here quite a lot for basics .. very frustrating to know they show no pride. It is a very small store in comparison to other ones I've seen, seems fairly organized and clean which is why I don't understand why they don't attempt to take it to the next level. To me customer service goes a long way because even if you don't have what I need you show effort which would make me want to go back! read more

I came in to buy an HDMI cable and they were sold out of them. Office Depot is really going to struggle with online competition if they can't keep common products in stock in their stores. Perhaps I just caught them on a bad day, but then I went to recycle some electronics, and they told me it would cost $5. Staples does it for free, as do plenty of other places, so I have to give this place two stars. read more

Horrible customer service... print job not ready when promised...you have to call multiple times to speak to a human being and staff who answered was incredibly rude. read more

How long does it take to check out? Very frustrating to just stand there in line for over 10 minutes while the employees are helping other people at a different counter and/or doing things that are apparently more important (one guy was stocking shelves). There were other annoyed customers as well. Proper staffing and a simple apology for the wait would go a long way. Just an overall aggravating experience. Do not recommend. read more

No wonder this store only has 2 stars. But I ignored that because I was only coming in to ship a package. Big mistake. I came in to ship a package overnight to arrive Christmas Eve. The UPS store just a couple doors over closed at 4. It was 4:30 so I saw the sign that Office Depot could also ship my package. I came in and asked if I made it in time for pickup and was told yes, plus she showed me a bunch of other packages behind her that were waiting on pickup too. She went over different delivery costs and I picked the one that would get the package there by Christmas Eve. Very expensive but it was super important that it arrive Christmas Eve so I paid in cash and was given a tracking number and receipt. The store closed at 5 and I left at 4:40. I tried tracking the package many times that evening but it never seemed to move. I thought maybe the next morning. But again the package never moved. So I called first thing on Monday and was told the package was never picked up. I was told that when I came in on the 22nd that it was already passed the time to ship something that day. That was not true. I personally saw all the other packages on the 22nd that were being sent that day so I truly did not appreciate being lied too. Plus I said.."then why would she take the package from me and process it and ask for $86 to send the package overnight to arrive Christmas Eve if the package had already missed the pickup dead line? That makes no sense. So I had to go to that store, get a refund, grab my package and inform my son that he would have to drive the package from St. Petersburg to Atlanta on Christmas Day. So I won't be back in this store again. read more

Its the best option in the area. Great service and they always have what I need. I bought ink for my printer, and school supplies for my son. I also use them for cheap copy services. read more

Incompetent staff. Talk to an associate named Andy. He told me he had a device in stock. Online shopping said out of stock. I trusted the guys word against my gut. I drove there and they haven't had it in stock in weeks. Driving to Best Buy in the opposite direction now! Thank you, Andy! read more

Went in to this store and spoke with employee Donna to create stationery with a logo that I brought in. I was giving her suggestions as to how I thought I would like it. She cut me off saying that she would create it and that I could come back the next day to see what she had come up with. I told her that I could not come back the next day, but told her I would be back in 5 days. She said that would be great. I went back on the appointed day and Donna was not there and another employee found the work order but it was not completed. I spoke with the manager, Kevin Taylor, and he told me that she was on vacation (she actually left the day after our initial meeting). I went in today to buy a portable external hard drive and was instantly accosted with the "Can I help you." My past experience with this store's clerks told me that she wouldn't be able to, but I went along. Before buying the drive, I wanted to confirm that the USB 3.0 cable that came with it was long enough for my requirements, but the woman who had intercepted me didn't know and tried to sell me a USB 2.0 cable in addition, "but it's six feet long, not three", she said. I very politely told her that the "3" I mentioned was not the length, but a spec, but my correction clearly made her angry. She then showed me a 3.0 printer cable -- and I told her that that was not what I was talking about either -- I'm still being very polite. Now she was twice wrong and had become downright indignant. I then asked her if she could find out how long the included cable was and she went off to the back in a visible huff. When she came back I asked her again how long the cable was and she snapped "I don't know" at me and all but threw the hard drive at me. Well, my time is valuable, so I bought the drive, but I swear this is the last time I set foot in that store. Online shopping, on Amazon, for me from now on. I don't expect a store clerk to know anything, I do expect a store clerk to behave herself. read more
