I put in an order for printing of a banner that was supposed to be done by 6:30 pm according to the website. I did not get confirmation that it was ready so I called around that time to check in and they told me they were super backed up but I would be first up in the morning. When I called in the morning, the person I spoke with explained to me that the manager for the printing department was out of town and they didn't have experience doing a banner themselves but would see that it was done ASAP whenever the correct person came later in the day. An hour later I got a call that they had figured out how to print it and completed my order. I had told Rosa the manager I spoke with how important my order was and the timeliness of it and she made sure to find a way to get it done ASAP as it was past due. When I've needed to buy printer paper for the house on the fly, this Office Depot has done the job. Usually, I'll go to this location if I am working at the shared office space I use in downtown West Palm Beach and am either on my way there or heading home. Highly recommend coming here and working with Thomas. I went to Best Buy before coming here at their customer service was AWFUL. Thomas was happy, eager to help, and knowledgeable about their products. He gave me his honest advice on the products and helped point me in the right direction. When I was told there would be a short wait, he showed me where the seating was and made sure I was happy and comfortable. I shop here and use their printing services at least twice a week for my business..they are all always working together...from the moment you walk in the store..they smile and are happy to see you. The company deserves zero stars, I went into the store to order a laptop and a few other product and let's just say they didn't have the product in store and promised me one- three day delivery which was all lies. Never do business with a company who fails to honor their word. Terrible place to do business I have never been so enraged with a company like this before. Robbed and when all said and done the company failed to follow through on there promise and tells me the customer it will take up to four weeks for them to return the product when on there part they're in the wrong. I'm not crazy about this Office Depot. The cashiers are frequently distracted, and I have to repeat myself. They are talking to their friends about their weekends instead of giving the customer their full attention. I went in two days ago to make 10 copies of a photo on matt, 8 1/2 x 11" photo paper. They didn't have any matt photo paper in that size in any brand so I bought semi-gloss though it was not what I wanted. I had my item on a jump-drive because when I've tried to retrieve items via e-mail there before (for which you are charged) the internet reception is terrible and slow. I went to the self-serve color copier, and couldn't get it to do what I wanted. I asked for help from a manager, who couldn't get it to work. They asked for someone from the area who couldn't get it to work. I was told I'd have to have them do it on the regular color copier, so I got in line. When I got to the front I was told their color copier was being repaired as we spoke. Since the repairman was right there I asked when it would be fixed - 1 hours, 2 hours, 3 hours? Neither the repairman or the employee would give me an answer - they just shrugged. I went down the street to Staples, who had matt paper, and did my photo order promptly. I have never been so mistreated by a "customer service" agent in my life. The copy and print associate Sofia was beyond offensive, dismissive, rude, out of line, unhelpful, laughed at my concern. In fairness I was offered a compensation gift card by the store manager, but was instructed to come in to the store where the atrocious associate would be again. I can not fathom doing business around someone so unprofessional again. I have never been so BEYOND livid by a way a store has handled me, my complaint or the resolution. I have always admired Office Depot for their customer service, but unfortunately after this I may never return to another location. The sad part is that I have a thriving company and the amount of money that I was spending there was substantial. VERY SAD read more
