I ordered certificates for my student award ceremony on a Thursday. The ceremony is on Monday and I wanted to get these on Friday. Sadly, the location I wanted to get it from (close to my house) did not have card stock paper to fill my order. I was super disappointed. I was headed out of town over the weekend so I had to wait to pick up my order from the Winter Park location (which is where the original location transferred my order to since they couldn't fill it) until Sunday. I just ran inside to grab it and the worker was super nice and grabbed my order for me with ease. I checked it out and my certificates look perfect! I went into Office Depot a couple of weeks ago, looking for a specific item and the young man upfront was very helpful to me. Told me exactly where I needed to go and his information was absolutely correct. I was able to go get it and did not have to wait a long time on a line to pay for my items and exit the store. Conrad was helping me. I asked if they could print my resume on cardstock. He said yes and gave me the prices for color and double sided. He then told me to email it. I used the bathroom and when I came back and he had forgotten that he spoke to me do nothing had been done. He blamed me for walking away. I thought now he was going to complete my order. I then walked out front to wait and came back in and again he asked me what I needed??!!?? Forgetting that he already addressed me 2x. What is upsetting to me is that he never said hold on a second I need to get your phone number so that I can complete the order. He blamed me again for walking away. Then he wants to charge me 25% more to do it today....or it wasn't going to be ready till 5 PM tomorrow. Mind you I have been waiting for two hours already. This is the worst customer service I've ever had! It was only 6 copies. You would think after all the misunderstanding that he would at least comp the 25% more for me to do it now so I didn't have to wait till 5 PM the next day. I understand people get busy, but he really needs to work on his communication. After the first time, he should've told me not to walk away again. I don't know that he needs more information from me. He already told me to email it. I wrote the instructions on the email. I didn't know that he needed to get my phone number from me. So then to wait again because they were busy to be told that he forgot me again just blew my mind!! Not to mention the 25% more charge! This is crazy customer service!!! read more

I went on a Saturday morning, and the Customer Service was almost remote. I say this because I was chasing down and trying to find someone to help me every step of the way I need a picture for my rapid ID and I was told just a little stand at the corner and nobody came. I just kind of wandered there even though I was on an appointment then it was time to check out. I wanted to purchase something. I couldn't find anyone they didn't have self checkout. I had to walk the store and go up every aisle before I could find someone who I wasn't sure if they worked there or not so I had to ask, do you work there for them to say yes and they continue what they were doing stocking the shelves I asked what can I purchase something and they said oh OK fine And begrudgingly walked towards the counter. The whole experience just made me feel like I was a bother to them and I don't get insulted or in my feelings easily. If you need something for your office needs I was just suggest going to a different Office Depot cause I've never experienced this from this chain before. read more

UPDATE: The GM Ray was so helpful and understanding about this whole situation. I am so thankful that they resolved this issue in a swift manner. I'm still unsure of why this happened but I am very grateful that this did not become a bigger issue. I have a disability. It's so hard for me to talk to people. I'm not sure if the person who declined my return was a manager or not but a man with black greasy hair denied my return on my card even though I had my receipt. I asked him why and he said that I can only get store credit. I asked why he wouldn't return it on the card and he continued to belittle me and repeat "store credit only". I kept asking questions and he chose to repeat "store credit only". There was information about the return policy right on front of me. He said that it was no longer in effect.. and I asked why was it in front of me and he said that the 100% guarantee was no longer valid. I really don't understand why he wanted to cause issues especially since I had a receipt and I am well within the guidelines for a return. This is why some people go off because of workers like this man. There were three men working. This one had black hair and an unkempt uniform. This was the one and only planner that they had. It was over $40. Pages were missing. There were barely any options. I'm so sad because this was already so hard for me. read more

I came here cause I bought a chair online. It was sold exclusively at Office Depot. Serta High Executive chair Thinking I could fit this thing in my Trunk.... FAILED... Ok what about backseat... FAILED... Turns out my 2022 Toyota Camry cannot fit what a 2006 and older models could... Us Americans get bigger, and the cars got smaller over the years I guess.... So I opted to have it delivered.... well that wasn't happening.... Asked if they could hold it until the first week of March when my uncle would be in town with his massive gas hog truck. He asked his manager. Not wanting to get him in trouble I wont say names. But this guy went above and beyond what I was expecting. He offered to drop it off at my place on his way home. Granted I don't live far. Rather close actually to this Office Depot. But still... I would of NEVER expected this from this store. I being grateful and really needed this jumped on the opportunity. Coming from someone who does deliveries on the side (all 4 platforms) this was like the world returning the favor to me after all these years. This office Depot has survived the strip mall remodel and has the modern appearance on the inside. I have yet to see a busy office depot which isn't bad, but I'm not a fan of the new process to print some documents out. They have a check in machine that will notify you when they're ready to assist you. I walked up and was told that I needed to check in assuming that I'd get immediate assistance, only to find out, I had to wait 10 minutes. There were two people behind the counter and one person ahead of me, he must've been printing out a billboard or something. But overall, not a bad place to shop for office, home, work, or school needs. read more

Today I had a great experience at Office Depot in Winter Park, FL. The associate that provided such excellent customer service is Conrad. I placed an online order where the products were available for same day delivery. Only one of the products delivered and the other products did not. This caused my free shipping (due to amount of original order) to be not-free. I took my time to visit the store and was delighted to have my shipping fees adjusted and the online product pricing was honored (would have cost me another $18+/- to purchase in-store items). This is super nice, organized and clean Office Depot. Located across the street from the Winter Park Village. I actually commented to one of the sales associates how nice they were there compared to other Office Depot locations around town and he told me their are top in their district and I can totally see why. They are good for office goods, obvi, and also printing and mailing. For printing, if they can't complete it in the store, they will order it online for you and deliver to your house free of charge. Love that. Also, they have UPS and US Postal drop off and shipping. Boom, one stop shop. read more

Nice location for Office Depot. The store is laid out well and makes use of the space well. Sale items are in stock. Service is always prompt and friendly. I have used the business services at this location, nice options to email your files for printing, to avoid stopping by with a flash drive or waiting for a job to be completed. I have received confirmation calls and emails on my orders- any questions were quick and the printing jobs were completed quickly. Have purchased printers and tech gadgets here, staff is very informed and in one case- let me know that their extended warranty covers lightning strikes and surges on equipment purchases...which very few plans cover. Esp. in Florida! Next printer we'll head here to price shop first, to see if that if that coverage is still offered. read more

We swung through about ten days ago looking for a planner for the wife. They had plenty to choose from and overall they have a great selection of everything you can think of. The store is laid out nicely and it's clean. The location is prime time, right across the street from the Winter Park Village. My wife and I were looking for a good shredder at a decent price and came in to see what was available. After looking, we decided to buy a shredder on close out. We brought it home and killed it the first day (we are clearing out years of files) !!! When I brought it back, I was treated with respect and given the last one of that model. This one lasted almost a month ( we've really been shredding!!! ) and we realized we couldn't find the receipt. I said let's try to replace it anyway. Scott treated us with respect and didn't make " old people jokes or remarks ". He also allowed us to trade it in on a much larger unit that was on sale. They were all sold out, but that's when Chelsea stepped up and called around finding one at the store her husband worked at. He dropped it off for the pickup on the following day. It was truly a team effort. My thoughts were," If they worked that hard for our shredder, what would they do for major items ?!? Horrible customer service. I went in to purchase an office chair and waited in the furniture area for over 15 minutes to see if someone could check if they had it in stock and no one even acknowledged my presence or asked me if I needed anything. I made it very obvious I needed help and it wasn't even that busy, employees would even bypass me. I then went to the cashier and he radioed to the staff to check in the back. I then waited by the register while he checked out a few other customers. 5 minutes passed and I asked him if he heard anything ... he said no one had responded to him so I just walked out. My husband forgot he needed a projector screen for a work event in the morning but arrived 2 minutes after the store had closed and the door had been locked. The manager met him at the door and when he explained what he needed and why he was allowed to come in and purchase it despite the hour.
